In Scotland, the celebrated Wee Tea Plantation Company has turned out to be a massive scam, with cheap tea imported from abroad then passed off as tea lovingly grown in a field in Perthshire, and sold off at 100 times the cost to grand hotels such as Gleneagles, the Balmoral in Edinburgh and the Dorchester in London. Ten years ago there was a launch in New York attended by then First Minister and actor Alan Cumming.

Armed police called to double incident in Galston as man taken to hospital
Armed police have been called to the scene of a double disturbance at a house in East received a report of man having been injured at a property in Cross Street, Galston, at 08: man was taken to hospital for Scotland said there was a subsequent disturbance involving another man. The pair boarded the Glasgow to Edinburgh ScotRail service at 7pm on Sunday, June 8, and sat in seats close to the doors at the back of the train. Shortly after the train left Glasgow, the woman began performing a sex act on the man. But the couple were interrupted by a guard who was carrying out his checks. Pic: Contributed Both the man and woman have been described as white, aged in their 30s and of regular builds. The man had a greying short, scruffy beard and facial tattoos. He was also wearing a black baseball cap, a black hoodie, black jeans and was carrying a black backpack. The woman had blonde hair and was wearing a dark fur coat and black trousers. British Transport Police said the couple had been identified and officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Biker from West Lothian dies in hospital after campervan crash in Inverness
A 57-year-old man from West Lothian has died in hospital a week after a crash involving his motorbike and a campervan near accident happened at about 16:30 on 19 June on the A82 at Lochend, south of Inverness. Steven Twizell, who was riding a blue BMW motorbike, was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died on 46-year-old male driver of the white Peugeot Carado campervan was taken to hospital as a precaution but later discharged. He has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence. Mr Twizell was from Armadale in West Scotland said its inquiries were ongoing and the force is appealing for witnesses to the collision to get in touch.
