DOHA: The Ministry of Endowments(Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Mosques Department, has inaugurated the Mozah Mahmoud Abdullah Al Mahmoud Mosque in Umm Al Seneem, covering an area of 4,823 square meters.
The mosque, endowed by Mozah Mahmoud Abdullah Al Mahmoud, serves as a beacon of worship and a house of prayer, remembrance, and Quranic recitation. Its establishment aligns with the ministry's plan to expand and enhance mosques nationwide, keeping pace with urban growth and population increase, in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030.
In a statement, the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs emphasized that such endowments are among the greatest acts of devotion, describing them as continuous charitable deeds that bring everlasting rewards.

Tribune News Network Doha As part of its ongoing efforts to develop cities and achieve the highest standards of quality of life, Doha Municipality, in cooperation with the Mechanical Equipment Department, has implemented eight demolition orders for old and abandoned buildings in the areas of Najma, New Salata, Al Ghanim, and Bin Mahmoud. This brings the total number of demolition orders implemented since the beginning of this year to 34. These measures are part of a comprehensive plan aimed at removing buildings unfit for habitation, preserving public safety, reducing visual distortions, and enhancing the attractiveness of the urban landscape in line with sound urban growth. Doha Municipality affirmed its full commitment to implementing building laws and regulations, in implementation of the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, which aim to develop sustainable cities and achieve an integrated urban environment that meets the aspirations of residents and supports Qatar National Vision 2030. In another development for the second week in a row, Doha Municipality, in cooperation with the State Abandoned Vehicles Removal Committee, continued to implement a field campaign to remove abandoned vehicles and equipment that violate the provisions of Public Hygiene Law No. 18 of 2017. The campaign resulted in the identification of 115 abandoned vehicles and the removal of 113 vehicles during the campaign period. Doha Municipality confirmed the continuation of these campaigns with the aim of reducing visual distortion and improving the urban landscape within the city.

QNA Doha The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance, launched the summer Dawah program 'Hikaya' devoted to girls and children, which is purposefully directed toward fostering Islamic identity and promoting behavioural and ethical values among youngsters. The program primarily intends to reinforce national Islamic identity and affiliation through staging interactive lectures and workshops overseen by female professionals specialising in religious and pedagogical guidance in a catalysing and secure environment, Awqaf said in a statement on Sunday. 'Hikaya' is laser-focused on narrating the stories of the Prophets and linking them to the doctrine of monotheism, with the intent of strengthening faith in Allah, the Almighty, and trust in Him, in addition to inculcating correct behavioural values in youngsters' hearts to be psychologically ready to navigate the challenges that might potentially arise throughout their forthcoming age periods. Islamic preacher Sheikha Al Jarboui highlighted that the program literally aims to entangle the female participants with the models inspired from Islamic history to be further put out as a source of inspiration that shores up Islamic values and identity. The program is part and parcel of Awqaf's unstinting efforts to invest in summer breaks as a key source to promote values and identity and build a conscious generation confident in its religion and touts its identity.

In a press release on Saturday, the ministry affirmed that this urgent initiative is part of a broader national strategy aimed at safeguarding marine biodiversity in protected areas, a measure that is fully aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and ensures the long-term sustainability of the nation's natural resources for future generations. The campaign stands as a vital strategic initiative to reinforce Qatar's local fish stockpile, an essential move toward securing national food resilience, which was executed based on rigorous scientific studies conducted by the Aquatic Research Center.
