Aima Baig is tempted to launch jewellery line
Rings glimmered on her fingers as she raised her hand to show off her wrist watch and bracelets. Although Aima didn't wear anything fancier than a casual shirt and jeans, she sported a big smile to show that she was satisfied with the bling she added to the overall look with her accessories.
"Layering up jewels gives me chills. In a good way, of course," she wrote. As inspiration struck, she asked her followers if she should launch her own jewellery line.
Whether or not the Baanware singer decides to commit to this endeavour remains to be seen. For now, she's thriving in her career as a musician.
Earlier this month, she won the Lux Style Award for Most Stylish Musician of the Year (Critics' Choice) for Satrangi. Expressing gratitude for the accolade on Instagram, she wrote, "Thank you so much. I'm truly humbled."
The feat caught the attention of Strings alum Faisal Kapadia, who said in the comments, "Many congratulations! We need a treat." Aima's beau, Rastah founder Zain Ahmad, also offered his support, lighting up her comments with fire emojis.
Fans were also quick to offer their heartfelt congratulations, flooding the section with heart emojis. "You deserve it, my girl," a user wrote, echoing the sentiments of many others including fans from beyond Pakistan.
Last month, Aima performed for her dedicated international fans in Bangladesh. Sharing the concert photos, she wrote, "Thank you for all the love, Bangladesh. You guys were truly magical, and a huge shout out to Yamaha for putting together an amazing stage."

It's a wrap for 'Behnaz'
Filmmaker-writer Abu Aleeha has wrapped up the filming of his latest sports thriller Behnaz. Starring Ayesha Omar and Dananeer Mobeen, the film aims to highlight the rich sports culture of Lyari. Abu took to Instagram and posted a picture with the cast and crew, captioning, "The camera has closed on Behnaz, one of my most layered films." The film revolves around a Baloch woman footballer, played by Dananeer. This will be Dananeer's debut on the big screen. The actor's venture into films had previously divided the internet about her suitability for the role. Some fans congratulated the actor, writing, "So proud of her. She's rising high and Inshallah will keep going higher." Others, however pointed out that the actor was too white to play an Afro-Baloch person, sharing, "Casting Dananeer in a film on football in Lyari probably based on or inspired by stories of Baloch footballers, especially Afro-Baloch communities is not it. She's the big new star but this also reeks of colourism. People in Lyari don't look like her." This will be Ayesha's second project with Aleeha, where she will play the role of Dananeer's coach. The filmmaker extended his gratitude to everyone, penning, "A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this film possible. I'm deeply grateful for your support." He took time to mention some of his older projects, "If you enjoyed Taxali Gate even a little, this movie will blow you away." Taxali Gate was a crime thriller released in 2024. Starring Ayesha Omar alongside Yasir Hussain, the film revolved around the residents of Taxali Gate who rose against the judicial system of Pakistan. The film received positive reviews for its storytelling and acting but was criticised for technical shortcomings.

Love Island's JaNa Craig sparks breakup rumors after unfollowing Kenny Rodriguez
Love Island USA's JaNa Craig has sparked major breakup rumors after unfollowing Kenny Rodriguez on Instagram and wiping their photos from her feed. The move has left fans questioning the future of one of the franchise's most popular couples. The couple, who met on Season 6 and currently star in the Peacock spinoff Love Island: Beyond The Villa, have yet to comment publicly. However, the social media clues are piling up. Pop Crave reported the initial unfollowing, and eagle-eyed fans noted that JaNa's closest friends, Leah Kateb and Serena Page, also unfollowed Kenny in a show of solidarity. Insiders suggest the couple may have grown apart after the show. JaNa is thriving as a content creator and influencer in Las Vegas, while Kenny has reportedly been considering a more traditional career in sales back in Dallas. The physical and lifestyle distance may have contributed to the rumored split. JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez have taken each other out of their bios. — jai (@vyv4ns3) July 27, 2025 The situation is further complicated by the ongoing release of Beyond The Villa episodes, which were filmed before signs of a breakup emerged. Fans are now rewatching tense moments between JaNa and Kenny with fresh perspective, wondering if cracks were already forming. Neither JaNa, Kenny, nor Peacock have released a statement, but the social media silence is speaking volumes. For #JaNa fans, it may be the end of a Love Island fairy tale — and the start of a new chapter apart.

Pakkay Dost' earns Sajal's seal of approval
Singer-songwriter Bilal Maqsood released a second volume of nursery rhymes from children's puppet show Pakkay Dost on YouTube on Tuesday. The first volume came out in 2023 and the show's vibrant visuals and engaging narratives garnered widespread acclaim, fostering a love for Urdu and enriching the lives of countless young viewers. Actor Sajal Ali lauded Maqsood's work on social media, penning, "Bilal Maqsood, you are doing a great job!" She appreciated the show's reignition of Urdu language amongst the youth, "Urdu is a beautiful language and it's high time we stop running away from it." The actor reminded us that it's cool to embrace our mother tongue, "It was always cool! Let's own it, celebrate it and make it even cooler!" On Wednesday, Maqsood took to Instagram to promote the new episodes, "I make Pakkay Dost for kids. I have always longed to make quality content for children and have finally gotten the opportunity to do it after Strings ended. I believe the entertainment industry has stopped focusing on children since the last two decades." Being a father himself, the singer observed, "Our kids are being raised on foreign content, which is out of our control. We cannot limit their screen time but the least we can do is to introduce them to shows that teach them good values, are safe and keep them connected to their culture and language." Expressing why he chose Urdu, Maqsood stated "I made Pakkay Dost because I wanted to make Urdu cool. Kids and parents often run away from Urdu and I wanted to change that. I want to request all parents and teachers to make sure that kids around them watch Pakkay Dost." The show has been captivating young minds with playful storytelling and colourful visuals, fostering a love for the Urdu language while imparting valuable life lessons. This makes it an enjoyable experience for children and a meaningful one for parents who want to instill cultural and linguistic pride in their children. Each episode offers laughter, lessons, and an opportunity for children to connect with their roots. The show has garnered acclaim from parents and educators alike. In January, Maqsood announced partnership with ConnectHear to make Pakkay Dost accessible to the hearing-impaired community through the integration of sign language interpretation. "We are very excited to partner with ConnectHear," said Maqsood. "Our mission is to bring joy, learning and cultural enrichment and create a brighter childhood for all children. This collaboration is a significant step towards making Pakkay Dost truly inclusive and ensuring that every child can experience the magic of our show." "At ConnectHear, we believe in creating a world where no one is left behind," said Arhum Ishtiaq, CTO and Co-Founder, ConnectHear. "This alliance with Pakkay Dost allows us to bridge the gap in children's entertainment and education for the Deaf community. We're not just adding sign language to the show, we're adding joy, imagination, and inclusion to every deaf child's life."
