Lamar manages to replace Drake at No. 1 on several Billboard tallies in the United States this week, thanks to his recent collaboration with friend and tourmate SZA. "Luther" returns to the summit on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs rankings this frame. Last period, the collaboration sat in the runner-up spot on the two consumption-based lists, pushed down by Drake's "What Did I Miss?"
The Canadian hip-hop superstar's single begins to decline this frame, making way for "Luther" — one of the most popular tunes in hip-hop of all time, according to the charts — to find its way to the summit once more.
Drake's Songs Decline as "Luther" Surges
On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally, "What Did I Miss?" drops from No. 1 to No. 3, landing just ahead of Drake's previous smash "Nokia." On the Hot Rap Songs chart, "What Did I Miss?" only steps back one space, while "Nokia" also holds at No. 4 on that ranking.
"Luther" Extends Its Historic Reign
"Luther" has now ruled both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs rankings for 29 weeks apiece. The tune long ago became the longest-running leader on both tallies, and with every frame it commands the tallies, it adds to its total and Lamar and SZA further their lead over every other hit in the history of those genres.

'I never wanted to stay long on a daily show, and also because of the hectic schedule that comes with being on a daily show.' He concedes that when he joined a daily show, he was much younger, and one of the drawbacks of being on a daily show is that 'they don't allow you to be doing other things, so your freedom is limited.' 'Also, if you stay longer, for example, 20 years, you struggle to get a job in other shows, because they associate you with your previous role, it becomes difficult to break away from your role,' he explains. On a sad note, he recently lost his friend and colleague, Presley Chweneyagae, with whom he worked on Tsotsi and The River, who died, and he delivered an emotional speech at his funeral. 'You know I'm strong, but you've made me weak, boy. Each role you played, you did with passion, and you taught me a lot about the craft,' he said.

Presented by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, who host a weekly podcast of the same name, this show features 100 categories, including but not limited to: Best Vibe, Hands Down (nominees: Japan, Seth Meyers and the Spirit Tunnel from 'The Jennifer Hudson Show'), the Canada Award for Canadian Delicacy (all-dressed chips, Alanis Morissette, Bowen Yang — Age 8) and the Cover Our Bases Award for Thing You Have to Admit Happened This Year (the 'It Ends With Us' legal battle, Karla Sofía Gascón on CNN, the time 'Adrien Brody spit his gum out at the Oscars, threw it to his date and Matt and Bowen were in the shot'). At first glance, the IMDb page for the series 'Platonic' might look suspiciously like the one for the 2014 movie 'Neighbors' — after all, both have Nicholas Stoller as the director and star Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen. But the show, which is beginning its second season this week, has a completely different plot: Instead of the married couple they played in that film, Rogen and Byrne play two longtime and platonic best friends who reunite after a significant rift. Season 1 followed the two reconnecting and the destabilizing effect that had on both of their lives. The second season picks up with them navigating the hurdles of day-to-day life while trying to appropriately support each other. Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett join the cast this season as guest stars. Streaming Wednesday on Apple TV+. 'Wednesday,' the series about the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, had a wildly successful first season and, according to the streamer, became the most streamed show on Netflix ever. Now the surly teen (played by Jenna Ortega) is back for a second season, set once again at Nevermore Academy, a high school for all kinds of fantastical outcasts. This time, she has a vision showing her roommate Enid (Emma Myers) dead — with Wednesday herself responsible.
