
Man dead after fatal stabbing near Toronto's Woodbine Park
In a post to social media, officials say officers responded to reports of a stabbing at around 10:10 p.m. in the Eastern Avenue and Coxwell Avenue area.
When they arrived, police say they located a male victim at the scene with injuries. He was then transported to hospital via emergency run, where he was later pronounced dead.
Toronto police say their Homicide Unit has been notified and that they will provide an update later this morning at 10:30 a.m.
No suspect information has been released but police note an investigation is ongoing.

Woman hit by pickup truck downtown taken to hospital in critical condition
A woman in her 20s is in critical condition after she was hit by a pickup truck Monday evening near the crosswalk at Elgin Street and Laurier Street, paramedics say. Paramedics said they were called to the intersection at around 5:45 p.m. and found a pedestrian who had sustained "multi-system trauma" to the chest, abdomen, and pelvis area. She was transported to the trauma centre in critical condition. Paramedics described the woman's injuries as serious and could not confirm whether they were life-threatening.

Fake bomb threat made against Waterloo Region Courthouse
