Beijing - Saba: German rider Daniel Desser won the Five-Star Tour title, which was held as part of the third round of the Longines Global Champions Tour, currently being hosted by Shanghai, China, with the participation of elite international riders and the strongest showjumping horses.
Daniel Desser won first place with Golden Boom, achieving a time of 39.98 seconds without fault, and received a prize of 15,000 euros. Belgian rider Gilles Thomas, riding Peak Z, finished second with a time of 40.65 seconds without fault, receiving a prize of 12,000 euros. French rider Simon Delestre, riding Julen Boy, finished third with a time of 41.81 seconds without fault, receiving a prize of 9,000 euros.

Düsseldorf - Saba: Bayer Leverkusen announced on Wednesday the signing of Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah for £35 million ($47.9 million). The German club will pay a £30 million deposit for the 22-year-old, who started last season alongside Virgil van Dijk against Ipswich but was substituted at halftime and has not regained his starting place.
