One NFL rookie running back has made his road to getting on the field a lot harder for himself. Though given the charges, it's a bit hard to sympathize.

On Saturday, Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Broward County, Florida on charges of battery and domestic violence.
Further details on the crime he's been booked for are not currently available. He is still in jail as of writing and his initial court appearance will be on Sunday morning.
"Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested on a domestic violence and battery charge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police department and Broward County arrest records," ESPN's Daniel Ayefusi wrote.
"Judkins was still in jail as of Saturday night and scheduled to have his initial court appearance Sunday morning, according to court records."
Judkins was the No. 36 overall pick by the Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was a record-breaking running back Ole Miss between 2022 and 2023 and helped the Ohio State Buckeyes win a national title in 2024.

But the domestic violence charges against him have caused the support and respect that Judkins has previously had to evaporate. Across social media, Judkins has been either condemned or mocked by fans in the hours since the news broke.
"Dude was so in position. On-field, off-field and fantasy. Then this," one user lamented.
"Oooof. And he's unsigned right? There goes that $. For sure lost any leverage he might've had," wrote another.
"Geez - first draft pick to be cut," a third predicted.
"You have your entire life in front of you and you fumble it."
"He's done.

The Browns used one of the picks they received in the blockbuster Day 1 trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring him into the fold.
But like many second-round picks in this year's draft, he remains unsigned due to a dispute over the guaranteed money in the deal.
As some online have pointed out, Judkins' arrest is going to send any leverage he might have in negotiations up in smoke.
At this point he'll be lucky if he's even allowed to play football in Week 1, let alone if he's being paid the amount he wants.

Judkins' entire career could be in jeopardy before the first whistle of training camp.

Chipper Jones gives his take on whether or not he'd ever manage a MLB team

Chipper Jones led the Futures National team to a win on Saturday. His winning lineup card was signed, sealed, and sent to Cooperstown, adding more impressive moments to his Hall of Fame career. Channel 2's Alison Mastrangelo asked Jones if he would ever consider managing a Major League Baseball team one day. Advertisement Jones had fun with the answer. 'I've still got three boys at home, so seven boys in total. So, you have to be completely committed to be a coach or a manager and I just don't know that I can serve the spot as well as I should. Besides, I keep asking myself, 'Why would any general manager want to hire me for a fireable spot? You know, for a fireable job?' Like, would you want to have to be the general manager that has to fire me? That's a bad PR move if you're asking me,' he laughed. Atlanta Braves fans will be able to cheer on two current players during All-Star Week. Matt Olson will participate in the Home Run Derby on Monday, and Ronald Acuña Jr. will play in the All-Star Game on Tuesday. Fans flock to Truist Park for 2025 MLB Draft

Sunday night, Major League Baseball took over the Coca-Cola Roxy across from Truist Park for the 2025 MLB Draft, as future stars were selected. As each pick came in, excitement grew in The Battery, where a draft watch party was held for fans on the plaza. Advertisement A handful of fans were allowed to attend the draft in person, and many, like Brock Slocumb, showed up hours in advance. 'We were like, 'Let's get in line about two hours early' because it's all general admission, so it's first come, first served,' Slocumb told Channel 2's Brittany Kleinpeter. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Just in front of Slocumb in line was Michael Jagger and his family. 'We've been here since 2:30. We just wanted to make sure we were the first in line so that maybe we could get a better seat,' said Jagger. For fans who weren't able to snag those coveted seats, some, like Davis and Drew Javaley, camped outside the Roxy hoping to spot a few familiar faces. Advertisement 'People we've grown up watching, so it's cool to finally see them in person,' said Davis. The night brought fans together for a moment that many don't often get to experience so intimately. On Monday, the Home Run Derby gets underway at 8 p.m., with gates set to open at 5 p.m. TRENDING STORIES: [SIGN UP: WSB-TV Daily Headlines Newsletter]
