Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's Astrological Compatibility

Cosmopolitan9 hours ago
Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff seem to have it made. For one, they're both excelling on the career front—it seems like Jack is constantly producing a hit pop album, and Margaret stays leading critically-acclaimed feature films. But based on the way that they talk about their relationship, finding each other has been their greatest blessing. "Falling in love with Jack was the biggest feeling I've ever felt," Margaret shared in her Cosmopolitan cover story. "I spent so many years trying to be someone's perfect girl, and that girl changed over and over again. But I can't lie to Jack. I can't be that for him—he'd see through it. So I just have to be myself. He's been the person I've pictured my whole life."
The pair started dating in 2021 and got married two years later at a star-studded celebration in Jack's home state of New Jersey (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, and Zoë Kravitz were all in attendance). And before they were even together, not-so-subtle moves were being made to set them up. "We'd heard rumors [Jack] was looking for forever love," Margaret's sister Rainey told Cosmopolitan. "So when there was a small party on the roof and I had a bit too much to drink, I proceeded to tell Jack that he needed to date my sister!"
So yes, everything about their love story seems like a fairytale...and that's probably because it was written in the stars. Jack's an Aries, Margaret's a Scorpio, and both of those signs are ruled by Mars, the planet of action and passion. Now that usually indicates a pair will be high drama with an incredibly fiery dynamic, but a closer look at their birth charts shows that Margaret and Jack are nothing of the sort. In fact, despite their global fame, they share a harmonious, comfortable, and pretty liberating inner life that makes them feel truly at home.
That said, we went ahead and broke down the duo's birth charts to find out what makes their love story so special. Read on to find out for yourself. [OR WHATEVER LITTLE KICKER YOU WANT!]]
There's a lot of deep Scorpio energy in this relationship. Margaret's Scorpio Sun sits close to Jack's Mars and Pluto in Scorpio, meaning they've got great physical chemistry, and the relationship has been super transformative for them both. This astrological overlay also explains why it was love at first sight for these two. 'We met right as COVID was ending, at the first party I'd been to,' Margaret shared in her Cosmo cover story. We saw each other on a roof, and we just started talking and never stopped.'
Couples who share this synastry often find themselves immediately drawn to each other, and it can be scary how deep things get early on. Margaret and Jack share this astro aspect in Scorpio, a sign defined by its intense nature. That only magnifies the all-encompassing "this is the one" feeling they both had from the beginning. The ballad "Margaret" by Lana Del Rey and Jack's band The Bleachers is a tribute to their romance, but it captures the way this all-encompassing astrological aspect plays out well, too. "He met Margaret on our rooftop, she was wearing white/And he was like, "I might be in trouble"/He had flashes of the good life."
This is the couple whose banter sounds like a foreign language to outside listeners. Their conversations about everything from the weather to global politics are animated, and it's because they come from super different schools of thought. These competing attitudes and perspectives will keep their dynamic fresh and entertaining.
Margaret's Mercury, the planet of communication, is in the sign of Libra—so she's pretty diplomatic and likes to hear out both sides of any issue. It sits opposite Jack's Sun in Aries, which makes him a quick decision maker and unafraid of conflict. Their communication styles may contrast, but that keeps things interesting.
Jack's Venus, the planet of love, is in a harmonious trine with Margaret's Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion (aka their planets are in the same astrological element). This synastry aspect says that two people will share similar tastes and find it very easy to build a life together. Neither one feels forced to compromise when they're discussing plans for the future. They're naturally aligned on what they desire regarding home and family—be that where they live, how many kids they'll have, or which side of the family they'll stay with during the holidays. They both trust and understand what the other wants, and don't feel a need to question it.

Jack Osbourne admitted he's ‘not close at all' with sister Aimee days before Ozzy's death

Jack Osbourne opened up about his relationship with his rarely-seen sister, Aimee, shortly before their legendary father passed away last month. Jack, 39, admitted that he and Aimee, 41, were 'not close at all' during an episode of Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan's 'Disrespectfully' podcast released July 16. 'We don't have a great relationship. She'll be the first to tell you that,' he said one week before Ozzy's death. 'So, it's no secret.' AARON PARFITT / BACKGRID While Jack and his other older sister, Kelly, 40, garnered fame after starring in MTV's 'The Osbournes' with parents Ozzy and Sharon, 72, Aimee chose not to participate in the show during its four-season run from 2002 to 2005. Advertisement Instead, she became an 'obscure, mysterious, moody' musician, according to her brother. 'She deemed doing a show on MTV as low-hanging fruit, and she was like, 'I'm not going to be seen riding coattails.' That's how she perceived it,' the Black Sabbath icon's son explained. 11 Jack and Aimee Osbourne during Los Angeles Fashion Week in 2004. 'So, she just dug her heels in and wanted to be relatively private and obscure.' However, Jack admitted that he 'never' asked his oldest sister if she regretted not starring in 'The Osbournes' – although he speculated she did. 'There must be a level of like, 'My life probably would have been different than what it is if I'd have done that.' I don't know. I mean, I would feel like I would have regretted it,' Jack explained during the podcast. 11 The Osbourne family at the 1997 Kerrang Awards in London, England. 'There is just not that level or kind of excitement around TV anymore like there was back then. When you had a hit TV show in the early 2000s, it was a game-changer.' Ozzy and Sharon's oldest daughter opened up about her decision not to appear in 'The Osbournes' during an interview with the NYC classic rock radio station Q104.3 back in 2020. At the time, Aimee said that she had no regrets about turning down the series. 11 Ozzy Osbourne holds a replica of his new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as he poses with his family during a ceremony on April 12, 2002, in Los Angeles. AP 'For me, I had grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway, and I always really valued my privacy within that family,' she explained. 'And for me personally, and for who I am, you know, as far as morally and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn't really line up with what I saw my future as.' 'It definitely worked great for the rest of my family,' she added. 'But for me and who I am, I just knew it was never something that I would have been able to consider realistically.' Aimee later broke cover with her siblings following the shocking death of their beloved dad, who passed away on July 22 following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease and other health issues. She also admitted that she 'won't be OK for a while' after Ozzy's passing. 'The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry her through the hardest moment of my life.' 'Grief is a strange thing — it sneaks up on you in waves,' Ozzy and Sharon's youngest daughter added. 'I will not be OK for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference.'

Miami-Inspired Perfume Trend for Summer 2025

It's no surprise that vacation-inspired perfumes have become one of this summer's biggest fragrance trends. Amid rising inflation, why blow your savings on a plane ticket when a single spritz can transport you to your favorite beachside getaway? While recent launches channel destinations from around the globe, Miami scents in particular are gaining a devoted following. "It's not just the gorgeous weather and beach; it's the culture and energy of the place that is so captivating," says Bee Shapiro, founder and CEO of Ellis Brooklyn. "The glamour of Miami is so unique to that city." So, what does Miami actually smell like? According to Shapiro, it's "joyful, tropical, and sophisticated." That vibe is perfectly captured in Ellis Brooklyn's Miami Nectar, which is widely credited with kickstarting the Miami perfume trend last year. Inspired by the winters Shapiro spent escaping cold New York in Miami Beach, it stars notes of fresh pineapple, coconut water, jasmine, vanilla, amberwood, and moss. "Miami Nectar is loaded with white florals and delicious fruity notes that make your mouth water, not gourmand sweetness that feels heavy in the heat," says Cosmo beauty editor Beth Gillette. "It's wet, hot, and juicy—like pool floats and piña coladas on Miami Beach, or dancing at a club until 4 a.m., or grabbing a Cuban coffee and empanada before looking at art in Wynwood." The Miami perfume moment officially reached cult status when Juliette Has a Gun released Miami Shake in late March. The gourmand fragrance features standout notes of whipped cream, wild strawberry, and ice cream cone—which the label's founder and creative director, Romano Ricci, says "add a playful, indulgent touch." He likens the base note of vanilla absolute to the "warmth of the sun setting over Ocean Drive," the iconic South Beach strip known for its Art Deco architecture and vibrant nightlife. "Miami is a sensory experience," adds Ricci. "The sun, the sea, the nightlife—everything feels amplified. It's vibrant and magnetic. People are craving escapism and optimism—Miami delivers that, both in reality and in scent." Of course, Miami isn't the only destination you can visit via the fragrance aisle right now. Kayali's new "vacay in a bottle" collection transports you to Capri, Maui, Marrakesh, and the Maldives. Meanwhile, Tom Ford nods to Portofino, D.S. & Durga whisks you away to the Yucatán peninsula, Bond No. 9 channels the Hamptons, and Henry Rose takes you straight down the Pacific Coast Highway. "Every city has its own unique essence, so I always choose a specific fragrance for every trip," says Gilette. "It makes me feel like I fit the vibe of the location and helps the vacation stick in my brain better. Later, when I'm home, I'll wear the same scent whenever I want to channel the energy of that particular trip." So, which city will inspire the next big perfume trend? Shapiro says she'd love to see Malibu in the spotlight after the devastating wildfires, while Ricci has his eye on Tokyo, Tulum, and Mykonos. "People are drawn to destinations that evoke emotion, culture, and a different rhythm of life—perfect inspiration for fragrance creation," he notes. Top 5 Lollapalooza 2025 Sets: Katseye, Doechii, and More

I know what you're thinking: After a whirlwind trip to the Indio desert for my first Coachella experience and a seemingly non-stop weekend at NYC's local Governors Ball Music Festival, I'd be crazy to attend another 3-to-4-day live music event, let alone travel across the country for it. Well, dear reader, I did just that, because backstage is my happy place, and I've always wanted to experience Lollapalooza, which has taken place in Chicago's Grant Park since 2005. This officially marked my first time at the beloved fest, which has bred iconic moments from Lady Gaga's 'Summerboy' performance in the early aughts of her career to Tomorrow X Together's record-breaking set as the first K-pop group to headline the fest in 2023. Of course, this year's lineup was also stacked with star power that was sure to bring more. A ton of Cosmopolitan faves made the bill, too, from KATSEYE, Clairo, and Olivia Rodrigo to Doechii, Gracie Abrams, and Sabrina Carpenter. I ran to and from Chitown's festival grounds to catch a few sets that made for an incredibly memorable experience at Lolla. While the fest goes on for four days, I was only there for two full ones and, unfortunately, missed some acts I'd been dying to see. But that didn't stop me from ranking my favorites as a first-time attendee. To keep it fair, I'm including my top sets minus headliners, since it's not fair to compare them to that production value. Here are the 5 best Lollapalooza sets, ranked from a VIP's POV.
