One of the world's best waterparks loved by Brits to get 20 new attractions – and will be ‘as exciting as a theme park'
Officially opening on July 1, the waterpark will welcome visitors to have a go on the ride and slides - including a junior version of their huge tornado water coaster.

Yas Waterworld is the only waterpark on the island - it opened 10 years ago and has expanded hugely from 45 to 60 rides.
The family-friendly attraction was crowned 'Best Water Theme Park ' at the International Travel Awards last year.
The new area in the park is based on a 'Lost City' theme with more than 20 new exhilarating rides, slides and experiences across 13,445 square metres of new space.
New additions include the junior version of the Dawwama ride - which is the world's biggest six-person tornado water coaster.
Another is called Al Mafras, which is described as a "twisting, desert water slide for kids" with "smooth turns, exciting slopes, and a fun-filled splash landing."
Red Dunes is a new closed aqua tube slide with sudden drops that's designed giving the thrill-seekers "maximum excitement".
Al Falaj Race is the region's first side-by-side duelling tube raft race where you can compete with your mates.
The ride also has high-speed drops and sharp twists.
Other new additions include the world's first duelling slingshot ride, the region's first mini zero-gravity boomerango and multiple raft rides.
The Jiwan Oasis is exclusive, with a private pool and comfortable cabanas.

Another addition to the park is the only indoor dining area called Dockside Dining.
Visitors can dig in to Italian favourites like handcrafted pizzas and pasta in air-conditioned comfort.
The new restaurant also has an open rooftop terrace with views over the park.
A single pass for adults into the park cost AED 295.00 (£58) if you buy online or AED 325 (£65).
Junior price starts from AED 250 (£50). Children below three years old can enter for free.
Yas Island is a popular holiday spot with Brits thanks to its white sandy beaches and plethora of attractions.

Peter Andre and his family recently went to Yas Island for a holiday where they explored Ferrari World and Aquaventure World.
Peter told Sun Travel: "Yas Island is the most child-friendly place I've ever been to - it's a kids' paradise.
"They cater for children first which is something I've never seen anywhere else. And then they've made it exciting for the adults - normally it's the other way around."
And there will soon be even more choice for places to go on Yas Island with Disney announcing the plans for its seventh park.
Information about the park still remain mostly under wraps, but it will have rides, themed accommodation as well as dining and retail experiences.
Another revealed detail was that the theme park will be indoors because of the temperature on Yas Island reaching highs of 48C in summer.

In every country, tourists eagerly gather at the most popular and talked-about spots , hoping it lives up to their expectations. Though at times, travellers may find themselves disappointed - charged premium prices and squashed shoulder-to-shoulder with others all aiming to chase the same sought-after attraction. Now, the very worst tourist trap in the world has been revealed, in research by Nomad eSIM. There's not one, but two places that tie as the top spots to avoid when travelling – and both are in the United States. Fisherman's Wharf, located in San Francisco, and Wall Drug, in South Dakota, scored the worst in Nomad's analysis. The company looked at thousands of reviews for attractions in 50 popular destinations around the world and tracked mentions of 'tourist trap'. Both Fisherman's Wharf and Wall Drug have 1,000 reviews labelling them as 'tourist traps'. Wall Drug attracts around 2 million tourists each year and started out as a small pharmacy in 1931. Now, it is known worldwide for being a quirky roadside attraction spreading across 76,000sq feet. Visitors can enjoy coffee for five cents, fresh donuts and an old-timey photo studio, as well as over 300 pieces of Western art. However, not everyone is impressed with its offerings and the attraction has received more than 1,000 reviews labelling it a 'tourist trap,' according to Nomad. One slammed it for being 'very crammed and tacky' while another swiped 'you will be ripped off by every store owner in town'. Fisherman's Wharf ties with Wall Drug as one of the worst tourist traps. The historic waterfront spot brings in around 12 million tourists a year who visit for the seafood restaurants, sea lions and souvenir shops. However, many leave disappointed and underwhelmed. According to Nomad, some visitors described the location as 'dirty, run down and overcrowded' and commented 'only worth it to see the seals.' Spain's Las Ramblas, a promenade that runs for more than a kilometre through central Barcelona, placed second in the 'tourist trap' rankings with 826 reviews. The attraction is packed with shops, eateries, and attractions and while some travellers enjoy its energetic vibe, others find the experience chaotic and overwhelming. Known for pickpocketing, the area is often packed with crowds some visitors find that it's 'one of the most overrated roads in the world', and one even went as far as to say that 'it should be on your DO NOT DO list'. Dublin's Temple Bar was listed third, despite being renowned for its lively nightlife and traditional Irish pub s. The Irish icon saw 'tourist trap' mentioned a whopping 687 times. Complaints about Temple Bar range from how dirty it is to the sky-high prices, with one reviewer describing it as 'overcrowded, overpriced and overrated'. Temple Bar was closely followed by Checkpoint Charlie, in Germany, which had 681 reviews dubbing it a 'tourist trap'. The famous Cold War-era border crossing in Germany features plenty of souvenir stalls and draws in plenty of visitors. But it doesn't always impress and according to Nomad, one traveller said: 'For somewhere with so much historical importance, it has become a cheap and nasty tourist spot'. While the Royal Mile in Edinburgh placed five in the 'tourist trap' rankings with 539 reviews. Stretching 1.81km, the cobbled road links Edinburgh Castle the Palace of Holyroodhouse. However, one visitor to the Scottish capital expressed disappointment: 'Bring back the days when locals could live and work in the area without locusts like plagues of tourists!'.

A HUGE city centre beach has reopened just in time for the school summer holidays. With the majority of UK schools closed for summer this week, parents will be desperately on the hunt for budget friendly ways to keep the kids entertained. 5 5 5 Heading to the beach on a sunny day is one of the best parts of summer, but what if you live hours away from the sea? Nottingham is one of the most landlocked places in the UK, with a drive to the popular seaside destination Skegness taking around two hours. Nottingham Beach So to ensure its residents can still enjoy the sand and sea, without trekking for hours, every year the enormous market square is turned into an artificial beach. Located in the heart of the city, piles of sand are dumped on the historic landmark, Old Market Square, to create a unique beach location, for kids to build sandcastles in. There's also a paddling pool for tots to splash around in, and plenty of deck chairs for parents to enjoy. The giant beach is completely free to enter, with punters then able to pay for a selection of family-friendly fairground rides, such as Star Flyer and Bungee Trampolines. Visitors can also transport themselves to the Islands of Greece by visiting the Santorini bar, which serves fruity cocktails and ice cold beer. The bar is open from 10am- 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 10pm on Sunday, and features regular live music performances and DJ sets. Every Monday, the beach bar hosts outdoor movie nights, with salsa classes taking part on Tuesdays, and volleyball tournaments every Wednesday. If you're feeling hungry during your trip to the 'beach', there's also countless food stalls, selling everything from Nutella crepes to Gyros.
