One more to the list- Making The Band singer, Sara Rivers files lawsuit against Diddy
As per TMZ, the lawsuit filed by Rivers' attorney Ariel Mitchell, also names MTV, Viacom, and several former employees of Bad Boy Entertainment, including Diddy's mother Janice Combs and ex-assistant Fonzworth Bentley. Rivers claims she was subjected to demeaning tasks, including the infamous "cheesecake incident," where Diddy allegedly forced her and fellow members of Da Band to walk several blocks to fetch him a dessert. In addition to the public humiliation, Rivers alleges inappropriate living conditions during filming, including being forced to sleep in a room with four other males, despite being married at the time. She states that she was threatened with removal from the show if she did not comply with these conditions.
Rivers further accuses Combs of maliciously sabotaging her music career by disbanding Da Band while retaining most of her earnings, depriving her of financial opportunities. She also alleges sexual harassment, claiming Diddy once backed her into a corner, blocked her movement, and touched her inappropriately.
In response, Combs' legal team has vehemently denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit a "false claim" and asserting that he has never sexually assaulted anyone. They believe these lawsuits are meritless and are part of an opportunistic rush to file claims before New York's Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law window closes on 1 March. Combs remains confident he will prevail in court.
This lawsuit is part of a growing number of legal challenges faced by Combs, following similar allegations made by former associates and victims, including four new suits all filed in a single day as reported by Variety.

Travis Scott subtly addresses Pusha T diss on Jackboys 2 amid Clipse album release weekend
Jackboys 2, the long-awaited Cactus Jack compilation led by Travis Scott, is now out, featuring Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, and SoFaygo. The release comes amid rising tension between Scott and rapper Pusha T, who recently criticized Travis on the new Clipse track 'So Be It.' Pusha, in a GQ interview, criticized Travis for flaunting his alliance with Pharrell during the Utopia rollout, only to feature Drake on the same album—where Drake delivered a verse dissing Pharrell and Clipse. Pusha didn't hold back, calling Travis 'a whore' with no loyalty or moral standard. While Scott had previously remained silent, the new project seems to offer a subtle response. The opening track, 'Champain & Vacay,' features Don Toliver and ad-libs from Waka Flocka Flame. Toward the end of his verse, Scott raps: 'Man these old n-ggas kill me/Know my YNs feel me… Blue Bugatti, dodgin TMZ/Made a hundred off of pushin tees/Now my phone on DND.' The wordplay alludes to Pusha's name while portraying him as an aging critic. The 'dodgin TMZ' lyric appears to reference a line from 'So Be It,' where Pusha warns Travis he's lucky he didn't 'TMZ it'—hinting at a potentially damaging video. The album opens with narration from Bun B and spans 17 tracks. No other lyrics directly mention Pusha, Clipse, or Pharrell, indicating Travis may be shrugging off the feud. Observers also noted that Scott announced the album just two days before release—timed to coincide with Clipse's long-planned Let God Sort Em Out, possibly setting up a streaming showdown. Ahead of the release, Pusha and his brother Malice addressed the timing in a Breakfast Club interview, encouraging fans to compare both records. Jackboys 2 also features appearances from Future, Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, GloRilla, Kodak Black, Tyla, and Vybz Kartel.

Justin Bieber settles financial dispute with Scooter Braun, repaying millions over cancelled tour loan
Justin Bieber has reached a multimillion-dollar settlement with former manager Scooter Braun following a financial dispute linked to the cancellation of his 2022 Justice tour. According to TMZ, the agreement requires Bieber to repay Braun's Hybe company millions in owed funds. An audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers had previously determined Bieber owed Braun over $8.8 million. The debt reportedly stemmed from a $26 million advance Bieber received from AEG for the Justice tour, which he later cancelled. Braun stepped in at the time, covering that amount through Hybe. Bieber has now agreed to repay the full $26 million to Braun, along with half of an additional $11 million Braun claims he was owed in unpaid commissions. 'He stepped in to help him,' a source said of Braun's decision to cover Bieber's AEG loan in 2022. The financial strain reportedly contributed to Bieber's decision to sell his music catalogue in December 2022 for $200 million. The settlement comes amid ongoing rumours surrounding Bieber's finances. Though his net worth remains high, the repayment marks a significant chapter in what many view as a transitional period for the 31-year-old artist.
