Vancouver, British Columbia and West Palm Beach, FL, May 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following an impactful presence at Bitcoin 2025, AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd. ('AgriFORCE' or the 'Company') (NASDAQ: AGRI) is pleased to share key takeaways, strategic insights, and next steps in its mission to accelerate sustainable digital infrastructure development.
Key Takeaways from Bitcoin 2025
Strengthened Ecosystem Relationships
AgriFORCE leveraged the Las Vegas conference to deepen relationships with leading utility operators, modular data center OEMs, and energy-integrated hosting platforms. Notably, the Company initiated co-development dialogues with North American natural gas aggregators and advanced load-balancing software providers focused on dynamic mining-to-grid orchestration. These new synergies are expected to streamline future deployment of TerraHash Digital ™ sites across underutilized energy corridors.
Investor and Analyst Interest
Institutional engagement was a standout theme. The AgriFORCE team met with multiple hedge funds and digital asset infrastructure allocators, receiving positive feedback on its hybrid infrastructure-token model. Several follow-up discussions are already scheduled with investors seeking access to sustainable compute yields and inflation-hedged hard asset exposure.
Media & Thought Leadership Coverage
AgriFORCE and CEO Jolie Kahn were featured in multiple media segments during the event, including a panel highlight in Mining Disrupted Weekly and an interview with The Hashcast, focusing on AgriFORCE's dual-role in regenerative energy systems and high-efficiency compute. Community influencers on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) amplified the Company's message around the convergence of agricultural innovation and decentralized infrastructure.
Reaffirmed Commitment to Sustainability & Inclusion
As part of the 'Women in Bitcoin' initiative at the conference, Ms. Kahn participated in roundtable sessions promoting inclusive leadership in digital infrastructure. AgriFORCE reaffirmed its commitment to advancing diversity in energy tech, while scaling initiatives that tie grid optimization to sustainable land and food systems.
Next Steps
Roadmap Execution
Based on insights and partnerships from Bitcoin 2025, AgriFORCE is fast-tracking two pilot deployments in Q3 2025—one in a legacy agricultural zone with stranded power in Alberta, and another in the U.S. Southeast focused on dual-output (mining + agtech) capacity. The Company is also finalizing its token economics upgrade, aligning with Solana for scalable validator integration.
Q2/Q3 Engagements
AgriFORCE will continue momentum through a series of strategic engagements including its June participation in the North American Blockchain Summit and a targeted investor roadshow spanning New York, Toronto, and Dubai. These efforts aim to broaden global awareness and attract aligned capital to its infrastructure pipeline.
Follow-Up Availability
AgriFORCE invites stakeholders, utilities, tech partners, and investors to schedule one-on-one briefings to explore partnership opportunities, joint ventures, or site-specific development alignments.
Quote from CEO Jolie Kahn:
'Our time at Bitcoin 2025 confirmed that the future of mining lies at the intersection of grid intelligence, sustainability, and global collaboration. AgriFORCE is proud to be at the center of that movement,' said Ms. Kahn. 'We are energized by the relationships we've formed and the work ahead.'

This Tlingit artist has taught 2,000 people to make bentwood boxes. She plans to keep going

Joanne Williams estimates she's taught 2,000 people how to make bentwood boxes. "I actually feel pretty complete, but I'm still going ahead to teach more," said Williams, a Tlingit artist, elder and bentwood knowledge-holder from Atlin, B.C. Bentwood boxes are watertight containers invented by coastal First Nations people. They're made by steaming a plank of wood, bending it into a square and fitting it with a lid and base. Williams was taught to make bentwood boxes as a child by her grandmother, elder Elizabeth Nyman, and has now taught bentwood box-making herself all over the west coast, including Haida Gwaii and Mount Currie. She also hosts weekly culture craft nights for Atlinites with the Taku River Tlingit First Nation. Williams says she's inspired to keep teaching by her grandmother, who asked her to pass the knowledge on to other people. "You're actually not supposed to hold secrets back when you're 60 years old, you're supposed to give everything away," Williams said. Bentwood boxes were traditionally used for all purposes, from carrying household items to storing important regalia. "It would have kept all their food and regalia dry," explained Maurice Ouimette, Williams' husband and business partner. "They're the only peoples in the world that developed this technology." The duo is now planning to launch a new home-based business this fall, selling bentwood box-making kits. They're going to mill the wood themselves to make the kits. They'll also sell supplies for beading, sewing and medicine bags. The duo says this business is not a money-making venture. Most of the profits will be donated. "We're trying to reach as many people in the world as possible," Ouimette said. Williams hopes teachers will use the kits to share with young people – but she says anyone can buy them and become teachers themselves.

2 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stocks That Could Be Too Cheap to Ignore Right Now

Key Points Investors are pessimistic about Google Search's odds of survival. Taiwan Semiconductor's management projects monster growth over the next five years. 10 stocks we like better than Alphabet › Artificial intelligence (AI) stocks and "cheap" aren't often placed in the same sentence, but I think that's true of two stocks in particular. Both Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG)(NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE: TSM) appear to be cheap, but for two separate reasons. In a market that's growing increasingly expensive, I think taking a hard look at these two stocks is worthwhile, as the value they provide investors is near the best available. 1. Alphabet Alphabet is the parent company of Google, YouTube, Waymo, and the Android operating system. However, Alphabet derives the majority of its revenue from one source: advertisements. This is also the major concern from the market, as Alphabet's primary revenue source, the Google Search engine, is under attack from generative AI. Google Search accounted for 56% of revenue in the first quarter. While we don't have an individualized breakdown of Google Search's operating margin, the Google Services division generated an operating margin of 42%, accounting for over 100% of Alphabet's total operating profits. That's because this division funds various Alphabet investments that don't generate any profits, so this segment needs to continue performing well for Alphabet to remain attractive to investors. However, there are some signs of Google's dominance slipping, as its market share has fallen below 90% for the first time since 2015. Furthermore, many Wall Street analysts and other tech-savvy people have replaced Google Search with generative AI. As a result, many are forecasting the downfall of Google, which is why the stock trades at a huge discount to the market. GOOG PE Ratio (Forward) data by YCharts. PE Ratio = price-to-earnings ratio. At 19 times forward earnings, Alphabet's stock is far cheaper than the broader market, as measured by the S&P 500. The S&P 500 trades for 23.7 times forward earnings, so there is a tangible difference in valuation between these two securities. However, I think this bearish sentiment is unwarranted. In Q1, Google Search's revenue increased 10% year over year -- not a sign of a company that's failing. Additionally, I think the majority of the population could do without the capabilities of a generative AI web browser or search capabilities and are perfectly fine with the AI Overview Google offers at the top of every search result. We'll receive more information from Alphabet on July 23 when it reports its Q2 results, but I expect Google Search revenue to remain healthy, which could lead to the stock rising. 2. Taiwan Semiconductor Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC) is the world's leading chip foundry, producing chips for giants such as Apple and Nvidia. TSMC has beaten out other chip foundries for multiple reasons, but chief among them is that it doesn't market any chips directly to consumers. Taiwan Semiconductor is a chip fab facility only, so its clients don't have to worry about it stealing their technology to produce a product that rivals their own. Additionally, Taiwan Semiconductor is always at the forefront of new chip technology. This remains true, as they are launching their 2-nanometer (nm) chip node later this year and a 1.6 nm offering in 2026. This dominance has enabled it to establish itself firmly at the forefront of the chip fabrication industry, and its services are in high demand. As a result, clients often place chip orders years in advance, which gives TSMC unparalleled insight into the direction the market is heading. Over the next five years, management projects a 45% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in AI-related revenue and a nearly 20% CAGR in total revenue. That's market-crushing growth, and if it pans out, Taiwan Semiconductor stock will be a must-own. Despite management's strong track record and the obvious tailwinds in the chip industry, TSMC's stock trades at only 24.9 times forward earnings. TSM PE Ratio (Forward) data by YCharts. PE Ratio = price-to-earnings ratio. While this is technically more expensive than the broader market, the difference is only slight. Furthermore, with the market's long-term growth rate hovering at around 10%, TSMC's projected 20% growth rate significantly outpaces it. As a result, TSMC appears undervalued for its growth and should be acquired before the stock rises further. Should you invest $1,000 in Alphabet right now? After its $60 billion acquisition of Pioneer Natural Resources in 2023, ExxonMobil has been targeting higher production at even lower costs and focusing on boosting its cash flows, all of which makes this magnificent S&P 500 dividend stock a buy at every dip. Procter & Gamble: down 14%, yield 2.7% Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) owns over 60 brands, most of which are household names today. Although its organic sales growth has slowed due to higher costs and weak consumer sentiment, it's just a short-term blip. Procter & Gamble is restructuring operations and targeting core earnings per share by mid- to high-single-digit percentages in the long term by exiting low-margin brands and markets. Above all, Procter & Gamble has a strong balance sheet and is a Dividend King, having increased its dividend for 69 consecutive years. NextEra Energy: down 19%, yield 3.3% NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE) operates the largest electric utility in America (Florida Power & Light), which generates steady cash flows. Nucor: down 30%, yield 1.7% Nucor (NYSE: NUE) is America's largest and most diversified steel company. It is also vertically integrated, meaning it sources the bulk of its raw material in-house. That's a huge competitive advantage to have in a commodity business and one of the key factors behind Nucor's strong financials and dividend growth. Nucor aims to return at least 40% of its earnings to shareholders, has increased its dividend for 52 straight years, and is primed to benefit from President Donald Trump's steep tariffs on steel imports. NUE data by YCharts. Medtronic: down 33%, yield 3.3% With revenue of $33.5 billion for the fiscal year that ended April 25, 2025, Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) is the world's largest medical device manufacturer.
