An immersive exhibition themed after ‘The Little Prince' comes to Singapore with enchanting 3D visuals
You'll know what to expect if you've attended the other exhibitions by Korean multimedia art collective Groundseesaw: vibrant 3D visuals projected across six-metre walls, educational snippets that delve deeper into the storybook world of The Little Prince, and a rousing instrumental soundtrack that heightens the whole multi-sensory experience. Follow the prince as he travels across planets, gains wisdom from the fox, and shows you to see the world through a different lens.
The Little Prince: The Journey of Stars is suitable for all ages, and not to worry if you aren't already familiar with the book. Treat this exhibition as an introduction to the simple yet poignant tale that holds multiple layers of profound, compelling themes beneath its colourful surface.
The exhibition replaces Gustav Klimt: Timeless Beauty, while Van Gogh Inside: Love, Vincent and Monet Inside will continue running all the way till the end of July 2025, minimally. Each session lasts one hour in fixed time slots. As sessions start on the dot, visitors are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes earlier so that they can find a good spot and settle in nicely before the story comes alive.

The Little Prince: The Journey of Stars is slated to open its doors on June 26, 2025 at Groundseesaw, located on Level 3 at Parkview Square. Entry for local adults starts from $22 ($11 with the ongoing 50 percent discount), and tickets for dates all the way till July 31, 2025 can be purchased via Fever.

A further five trains - out of a total of 18 heading from Paris to London - have been cancelled. Six others bound for London from France have been pushed back. A power outage in Moussy - 30 miles north of Paris - occurred at 8.30 this morning, triggering the slew of delays. As a result, services were forced to divert to slower lines which caused carnage on France's rail network. Since the problem is largely affecting French services, holidaymakers heading to Brussels or Amsterdam from London have largely been unaffected by the cancellations. The train operator took to X to confirm which services have been cancelled. A spokesperson for Eurostar said that the following services from London to Paris will not be running: #ES9022, 11.31 #ES9028, 13.31 #ES9044, 17.31 #ES9050, 19.01 Similarly, the following services from Paris to London will not be running: #ES9025, 11:37 #ES9039, 15:15 #ES9051, 18:10 #ES9055, 19:11 The spokesperson added: "We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused today." Passengers affected by the huge delays can exchange their tickets free of charge or request full refunds. Pictures taken at St Pancras show hundreds of Brits huddled around information screens, waiting for updates on when their train is going to depart. Some have taken to social media to vent their frustrations at the incident. One wrote: "How is it that the one day I choose to take the Eurostar they choose to cut power to the high speed rail in Northern France? "What are the odds?" However, according to lucky holidaymakers, regularly services are slowly being restored for some passengers. One person posted: "Thanks Eurostar for working through the track problems affecting all trains headed west from Paris Nord today. "Our train was late, but still running today. Ryanair announced it would be axing flights from three airports in France later this year due to the "astronomical" rise in air tax by the French government. The airline added: "In response to this government tax, Ryanair will cease operations to Bergerac, Brive, and Strasbourg, and reduce capacity at several other French airports." Ryanair currently operates two flights per week between London and Brive which is the biggest commune in Corrèze, and it's capital is Tulle. Direct flights from London Stansted to Brive will stop after October 24, 2025. But if you manage to visit before then, you can explore local distilleries and even Lamy Chocolate Factory which create sweet treats. Brive has a large food market held three times a week in Georges Brassens Hall with more than 200 sellers where you can pick up lots of tasty local produce. In the winter months, Brive is known for holding traditional winter fairs called Foires Grasses. It also holds Foires Franches, a summer fair which has children's fairground rides, markets, games throughout the town and firework displays. Other destinations that have been axed are Strasbourg, aka the Capital of Christmas. The third destination that Ryanair will no longer fly to is Bergerac. Last week, Christophe Fauvel, president of the Dordogne Chamber of Commerce (CCI) explained that Ryanair stopping flights could lead to the closure of Bergerac Airport. Talking to French media, Christophe said: "It is what happens next that worries us. "If Ryanair decides to follow through on its threat and leaves Bergerac for good the airport may face closure". Bergerac Airport estimates that it will lose 18,000 passengers and a seven per cent loss of its annual passenger numbers. Last year, Ryanair pulled its service to Bordeaux Airport – a decision that was finalised in October 2024. In early 2025, the airline also cut its route to Vatry. Tourists issued travel warning amid soaring 40C temperatures
Temperatures could hit nearly 40C with people heading abroad issued a warning Travelers heading abroad this week are being advised to exercise caution. It comes after a fresh weather alert which reports that temperatures in parts of the country are expected to soar to nearly 40C. Over the past two weeks, french media, bfmtv, reports that "France has experienced average temperatures that are 'two degrees below normal.'" They note that while much of northern France will be cloudy, other regions are expected to enjoy sunny weather, though it is spiking so high that people do need to be careful. They warn that on "August 4, the country is divided in two with a northern part under clouds from Brittany to Alsace in the morning and the rest enjoying a cloudy sky. 25C will be recorded in Cherbourg, 30C in Paris and up to 34C in Gap, 35C in Toulouse and 36C in Alès and Bordeaux." The next day, on August 5, the mercury will remain high with 32C in Lyon, 29C in Nice and 36C in Perpignan - and even higher in other areas with it reaching 39C in Alès. Weather experts from Météo-France note: "The level of danger of forest fires remains high around the Mediterranean." This latest warning follows a forest fire in southern France, triggered by a sharp temperature spike at the start of July. The fire spread across an area equivalent to 2,000 rugby fields of trees and as a result, an autoroute to Spain was temporarily shut down with residents forced to evacuate their homes. "The fire, the latest of several in the area in recent days, started on the property of a winery south of the city of Narbonne on Monday afternoon, then spread rapidly due to wind and parched vegetation after a heatwave", reports France24. "More than 1,000 firefighters battled the flames overnight, but by the morning the inferno had partially damaged 2,000 hectares (4,900 acres) of land and was still going strong, local authorities said", they added. Met Office amber and yellow weather warning as Storm Floris batters UK In the UK, people have also been placed under a weather alert. The Met Office has issued two warnings for today (August 4), with heavy rain and strong winds expected across parts of England and Scotland. Storm Floris is currently battering the UK with winds reaching up to 85mph in some areas. A yellow warning, covering large areas of the country, is in place until midnight, while an amber warning, specific to Scotland, will remain in force until 11pm.
