Lacazette, 34, became a free agent this summer after Lyon was relegated to Ligue 2.
The former Champions League semi-finalists were dropped due to debts being racked up by owners Eagles Football Group.
The club is set to appeal the decision, but it will not affect the future of the former Arsenal striker.
L'Equipe have claimed that Lacazette will sign for Neom on a two-year deal.
The report has suggested that the Frenchman has already completed his medical ahead of the switch.
However, Lacazette will miss out on playing at the club's potential new futuristic stadium.
The club currently plays at the King Khalid Sports City Stadium in Tabuk but will be moving soon.
The new stadium will be built as part of the plans to construct the city of Neom.

The second will be built 350m above the ground and will not be reachable by car.
But for the ex-Gunner, his move comes too soon for him to play in the futuristic grounds.
Their construction is expected to be completed in time for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
This means that Lacazette will be stuck playing in front of at most 12,000 people at home games for the next two seasons.
He will join former Premier League and West Brom star Ahmed Hegazy at the club.

Meanwhile, Lacazette leaves Lyon after two spells with the club in which he made 326 appearances and scored 184 goals.
During his time away from Lyon he starred for Arsenal in the Premier League for five years.
He scored 71 goals and assisted 35 more in 206 outings for the North London side.

The centre back has been key in ensuring Everton's survival in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 season and will be the foundation of Everton's rebuild as the Toffees look to push themselves back into the top half of the table. But, valued at £43m according to Transfermarkt, the Everton hierarchy could have decided to cash in on the highly rated defender to fund other ventures for the club. At just 22-years-old, Branthwaite may prefer to continue to develop his game under David Moyes. And it seems that is going to happen, with the defender close to penning a new deal on Merseyside. The ex-Galatasaray and Monaco forward started just one game in all competitions last season with Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz keeping him out of the team. Fulham do reportedly have the option to extend Vinicius' contract by a year, but with his contract set to expire at the end of June, it appears increasingly likely that the 30-year-old will leave Craven Cottage. Leeds - Illan Meslier Illan Meslier has constantly been making headlines during his six seasons with Leeds, mostly for the wrong reasons. Despite keeping 21 clean sheets in the Championship last season, the 25-year-old has made regular mistakes which saw him benched for Leeds' final seven matches as Karl Darlow stepped up. His demotion to the bench suggests the Frenchman may not be given another bite at the cherry in the Premier League under Daniel Farke. Championship title-winners Leeds will be pursuing options to bolster their team, including strengthening the goalkeeper position, potentially pushing Meslier out of the club. Manchester United – Marcus Rashford There are a wide range of names on the chopping block for the Red Devils this summer with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Andre Onana all potential departures this summer. The biggest name of all likely to be pushed out is Marcus Rashford after he was dropped by Amorim in the early stages of his tenure. This forced a January loan move to Aston Villa where the Englishman impressed, notching four goals and five assists in 17 matches under Emery. The Villans are yet to make a formal offer to sign Rashford permanently, suggesting that the 27-year-old will need to find another suitor. Rashford has been linked with a whole host of clubs across Europe including Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund but Barcelona seem the likeliest to acquire the Englishman's services. Newcastle – Martin Dubravka A loyal servant to the Toon for eight seasons, it could be time for the Slovakian to bid farewell to St James' Park. Last season, 36-year-old Martn Dubravka superbly deputised in Pope's absence, picking up five clean sheets in 10 games in the league. However, with Pope back to full fitness and the Magpies pursuing the services of Burnley's Trafford, Dubravka may fall further down the pecking order. In the twilight of his career, the Slovakian international could be on the move this summer to find more game time. Nottingham Forest - Taiwo Awoniyi Ousted from his starting berth by the arrival of the goal machine Chris Wood in January 2023, it appears Taiwo Awoniyi's time could be up at Nottingham Forest. Wood's arrival has seen the Nigerian see less and less action across the last two seasons, starting 12 times in the league in 2023-24 and just three times in the 2024-25 campaign. The 27-year-old will likely not want to play second fiddle for much longer, especially as Forest will be strengthening their squad ahead of a UEFA Conference League campaign in the upcoming season. Awoniyi could be even further out of Nuno Espirito Santo's plans come the start of the Premier League season in August and would be perhaps wise to seek to play football elsewhere. Sunderland - Chris Rigg 18-year-old Chris Rigg played a key part in the Black Cats' promotion to the English top flight last season, attracting interest from across Europe. The left-footed midfielder made 36 starts in the Championship last term under Regis Le Bris, notching four goals and one assist. His performances have caught the eye of Europe's top clubs including Lazio and Spurs. Whilst the young Englishman may be inclined to continue his development at Sunderland, the Black Cats could be set to cash in on the youngster with a £35m price tag, as per TEAMtalk. Tottenham – Son Heung-min The Europa League could be Spurs captain Heung-min Son Heung-min's parting gift to the loyal fanbase with the South Korean tipped for a move away from the Premier League. Spurs' fifth all-time top goal scorer has been with the Lilywhites for 10 years but, with one year left on his contract, Daniel Levy may be keen to cash in before it is too late. It also appears the 24-year-old is determined to seal a move away from east London after joining a new agency ROOF, according to The Sun. While five goals and three assists last season was below expectations for the ex-Ajax man, he will be eager to prove himself at a top club, whether in the Premier League or abroad. Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle are just some of the clubs thought to be interested in the attacker, with the Hammers valuing him at around £65m. Wolves - Hee-Chan Hwang Once the main front man for Wolves after his move from RB Leipzig, Hee-Chan Hwang is now surplus to requirements. After an injury ravaged season, the South Korean struggled to reinstate his starting position under both Gary O'Neil and Vitor Pereira, starting five matches in the Premier League last season. The 29-year-old will have to contend for an attacking spot under Pereira with Jorgen Strand Larsen, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Goncalo Guedes and Marshall Munetsi all looking to fill Cunha's void in the front three. Additionally, the Brazilian's £62.5m sale to Manchester United will have raised funds to further invest in the squad, which could see Hwang's position even further in peril.

Paul Pogba has shared a cryptic post on social media as he looks set to return to the beautiful game for the first time after an 18-month doping ban from the sport. The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder was handed a four-year doping ban after returning an adverse drug test. However, that suspension was later slashed to just 18 months. Now, the ban has been served and Pogba is free to play the game once again with many European clubs eager to bring him on board. One of those clubs is set to do just that, with the midfielder now reportedly on the verge of a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco. A medical is believed to be pencilled in at the Champions League side after they reached an agreement on a two-year contract with Pogba earlier this week. Ahead of the move, it appears that the World Cup winner is set to jet off somewhere as he posted a selfie from within an airport departure lounge, accompanied by a four-emoji-long message. French newspaper Le Parisien reported on Tuesday that Pogba had made 'significant financial sacrifices' to agree terms with the Ligue 1 side, with an agreement having been reached on Sunday. Though he has not actually played a game since September 2023, he has at least been sharing the progress of his training regime on social media in order to reignite his football career. Joining Monaco would see Pogba return to the Champions League after the Ligue 1 side finished third in the league behind Marseille and champions PSG. Despite representing France 91 times and winning the World Cup with Les Bleus in 2018, he has never actually played in the country's top-flight. Having come through the ranks at Manchester United, he joined Juventus before a then-record return to Old Trafford in 2016. From United, he once again joined Juventus on a free transfer in 2022, before his life came crumbling down in his second season back at the Old Lady when he learned of his suspension. The 30-year-old tested positive for testosterone after Juventus's first game of the 2023-24 season against Udinese, and was given a hefty four-yeard punishment by an anti-doping prosecutor's office in Italy. However, in October 2024 Mail Sport exclusively revealed that the former France international's original suspension had been slashed to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. In CAS' final judgement, it was confirmed that Pogba did inadvertently take DHEA, a substance that boosts testosterone that is on WADA's banned list. Crucially, however, the ruling states that DHEA only affects females. In an exclusive interview with Mail Sport last year, Pogba revealed the story of how he found out the news that he would be able to play football again in 2025. 'Here's a funny story: I was trying on a new suit for a film premiere but I didn't have my phone,' Pogba told Mail Sport. 'My wife (Zulay) comes rushing upstairs with my phone screaming, 'It's the lawyer'. I said I would call him back but she said I had to take the call. 'So I went downstairs to speak to him with the suit on! He told me the news and I was silent. Everyone was jumping, so happy but I was in shock. Quickly that happiness turned into a determination. We went through hell. A time of darkness. But this is my second chance, I have to use it. I was pumped.'

Cristhian Mosquera could reject Arsenal and stay at Valencia on one condition
Cristhian Mosquera will consider rejecting interest from Arsenal to stay at Valencia if he is offered the right contract, according to reports in Spain. The Gunners have identified the Spain Under-21 international as their top defensive target, eager to bring him in to provide cover and competition for the first-choice pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. Arsenal launched an opening offer of €19million this week which was swiftly rejected by Valencia. Mosquera, who turned 21 today, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Mestalla with Los Che eager to tie him down to a long-term deal.
