Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Day 6: Ashwin Kumar Film Eyes Rs 30 Crore Mark

Last Updated: Ashwin Kumar's Mahavatar Narsimha, an animated mythological film, grossed Rs 26.43 crore in India, surpassing Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1. Mahavatar Narsimha Movie Box Office Collections: Ashwin Kumar's animated film Mahavatar Narsimha may have slowed down a bit at the box office, but it's still going strong. The mythological movie has already beaten Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 after the weekend, and fans are now waiting to see if it can cross the Rs 30 crore mark in the coming days. As per early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Mahavatar Narsimha earned Rs 4.58 crore on Day 6 from its morning, afternoon, and evening shows. With a total collection of Rs 26.43 crore nett across all languages in India, the film is now close to entering the Rs 30 crore club. Mahavatar Narsimha, released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam in both 2D and 3D formats, continues to enjoy a strong theatrical run. On Tuesday, the film recorded an overall 50.00 per cent occupancy in Telugu 3D shows, with morning shows at 37.88 per cent, afternoon at 52.41 per cent, and evening at 59.72 per cent (night data awaited). The Telugu 2D version saw 34.46 per cent overall occupancy, with shows ranging between 23.57 per cent and 40.98 per cent. In Hindi, the 3D version clocked 46.50 per cent occupancy overall, peaking at 64.41 per cent during evening shows, while the 2D version had 39.05 per cent occupancy, rising to 57.09 per cent in the evening. As of Day 4, the film's India gross collection stood at Rs 26.25 crore. Ashwin Kumar's Mahavatar Narsimha has made history by becoming the highest-grossing Indian animated film of all time, surpassing Hanuman (2005). Directed by Kumar and produced by Hombale Films — the studio behind hits like Kantara and KGF — the film is earning praise for its gripping storyline and stunning visuals. The screenplay has been written by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, while editing is handled by Kleem Productions. The project is produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai. Presented in five Indian languages, Mahavatar Narsimha is a retelling of the legendary tale of Prahlad Maharaj, a young devotee of Lord Vishnu whose unshakable faith led to the fierce incarnation of Narsimha to destroy evil. This film is also the first in an ambitious animated series based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. The franchise, jointly helmed by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films, is set to span over a decade with upcoming titles like Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), and Mahavatar Kalki in two parts (2035 and 2037). The film, produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai, brings to life the iconic tale of Prahlada and his ruthless father, Hiranyakashipu. Despite the demon king being blessed with near-immortality by Lord Brahma, his repeated attempts to destroy his devoted son fail — ultimately leading to the dramatic intervention of Lord Vishnu, who appears in his fierce fourth avatar, Narsimha. Presented in five Indian languages, Mahavatar Narsimha has been edited by Kleem Productions. The screenplay, crafted by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, has received special praise for its engaging and emotional storytelling. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 6 Box Office: Pawan Kalyan Film Struggles To Reach Rs 80 crore

Pawan Kalyan's "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" struggles at the box office, earning Rs 78.69 crore by day 6. Despite a strong Rs 34.75 crore opening, earnings have dipped. Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 6 Box Office Collection: Pawan Kalyan's much-awaited period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu hit the big screen on July 24 after years of delay. However, the buzz is already wearing off. Despite sky-high expectations from fans, the historical epic hasn't quite lived up to the hype, and the box office numbers are proof. By day 6, the film is still trying to inch closer to the Rs80 crore mark, but the latest figures don't look too promising. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has witnessed yet another dip in collections. According to early estimates, Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected Rs 1.34 crore on Tuesday, making it the film's lowest single-day earning so far. Its highest remains the opening day, which brought in Rs 34.75 crore. Despite the weekend, there was no significant jump in numbers. Sunday's collection dipped to Rs 10.6 crore. As of Tuesday, the film's total box office collection stands at Rs 78.69 crore. Hari Hara Veera Mallu had begun its theatrical journey with an explosive opening of Rs 34.75 crore on Day 1. Directed by Jyothi Krishna, takes audiences back to the 17th century with a powerful story of rebellion. Set in a time of political unrest, the film follows a brave outlaw who rises against a cruel regime. Marking his return to cinema, Pawan Kalyan, now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, plays the lead role with intensity. The movie explores strong themes of resistance, justice, and loyalty as it brings a dramatic chapter of history to life. Kalyan's character leads a fierce uprising, standing tall as a symbol of courage and defiance. The screenplay is written by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, Sai Madhav Burra, and Abhimanyu Srivastava. A part of the film's review by News18 read, 'Technically, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a mixed bag. Thota Tharani's production design recreates parts of the Mughal world with flair, especially the Charminar sequences, but elsewhere, the visuals falter. The CGI, particularly in action-heavy scenes like the lion sequence and the journey to Delhi, ranges from jarring to downright laughable. These effects undercut the seriousness of the story and make the film feel less like a period epic and more like an outdated TV fantasy." Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection day 6: Pawan Kalyan film shows no growth, struggles to cross ₹80 crore

Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection day 6: Expectations were high from Pawan Kalyan's historical epic film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which released in theatres after several delays on July 24. However, the response has been mixed so far, with many pointing out the poor VFX and weak script of the film. Has the film shown growth over the weekdays after all? The latest update on Sacnilk have pointed out no such good news for the makers as the film saw yet another dip. (Also read: Kangana Ranaut reacts to Pawan Kalyan calling her 'stronger' actor than Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra) Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection day 6: Pawan Kalyan-starrer was criticised for its shoddy VFX and storyline. Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office trends The report stated that Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected ₹ 1.34 crore, as per early estimates, on Tuesday. It is the lowest single-day collection for the film so far. The film's highest single-day collection still remains its opening day numbers at ₹ 34.75 crore. Over the weekend, there was no significant growth as the film saw a dip in collections, and Sunday's figure stood at ₹10.6 crore. The total collections of the film as of Tuesday are at ₹78.69 crore. About the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu revolves around an outlaw named Veera Mallu (Pawan) heading to Delhi from Golconda in search of the Koh-i-Noor, though he also has an ulterior motive for going there. Ruling from the Lal Qila (Red Fort) is Aurangzeb (Bobby), who would like nothing more than to bend the country to his will. The first part ends by teasing a face-off between the two and revealing the title of the sequel. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is partly directed by Krish, but AM Rathnam's son, filmmaker Jyothi Krisna, took over the project after Krish walked out. Jyothi addressed the trolling that the film has received ever since its release in an interview with ABN, and said: 'Anyone will troll only those who are in the limelight… There are 4400 shots in the film that required CGI. I knew in my heart that a few shots weren't up to par, but it wasn't something huge. We needed to hold special premieres for which tickets were sold out, and they turned that minor issue into something major.'
