A POPULAR comedian has apologised to fans after CANCELLING his Scottish gigs.
A familiar face from TV screens, the comic has axed tour dates after falling ill.

Rob shared this post where he apologises to fans
Rob Beckett, a staple of panel shows and ex-Celebs Go Dating star announced the news on his Instagram last night.
In a heartfelt message, he penned to fans: "Hello everyone, I'm so sorry but I'm not well and can't do the shows in Scotland this week.
"Aberdeen has been rescheduled to Wednesday 14th Jan 20206 and Edinburgh has been rescheduled to Thursday 15th Jan 2026.
"The venue will be in touch but tickets remain valid for both shows.
STEP BACK FROM STAND-UP
It comes after Rob recently told The Sun how he plans to step back from stand-up tours temporarily.
The comedian has been touring for years, but now wants to take a break to focus on his young family.
Speaking to us in March, the comedian said: "I'll still do stand up and local clubs and charity gigs but I'm going to take a break from touring until the kids are 16/17.
"Then I'll do a big tour when they're sixth form and when they go to Uni, me and Lou are going to spend Feb and March in Australia bumming around.
"When I'm 50 I want to do a psychology degree."
Rob started doing stand-up comedy back in 2009 and won four competitions in his first year.

He made his debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, with his first solo show - Rob Beckett's Summer Holiday.
Since then he has become a household name and has a string of TV shows under his belt, as well as sell out tours.
The Essex funnyman married wife Louise in 2015 and they have two daughters together.

Dua Lipa ‘feeling grateful' after being awarded Kosovo citizenship

'Performing for you, and sharing the stage with my dad @dukagjinlipa was a moment I'll never forget. 'I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful, and we still have two more nights to celebrate together.' In November 2022, the singer was granted Albanian citizenship by its president Bajram Begaj. Since beginning her career in 2013, Lipa has had four UK number one singles and two UK number one albums, she is best known for songs such as Training Season, New Rules and One Kiss, which she recorded with DJ Calvin Harris.

Chancellor: Public will reject Corbyn's new party like they rejected him before
The Chancellor launched an attack on the former Labour leader personally as well as his new party, saying 'the bloke's got a big ego'. Ms Reeves told an audience at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that Mr Corbyn had 'tried to destroy my party' during his leadership in which he lost two general elections, one in 2017 and one in 2019. She was asked about the left-wing party during an appearance on the Iain Dale All Talk show on Saturday. Mr Corbyn launched the new political party with former Labour MP Zarah Sultana, which still does not appear to have a name but is marketed as 'Your Party'. Mr Corbyn vowed it would 'take on the rich and powerful'. Asked about whether the new party could eat into Labour's support by becoming a 'Reform of the left', the Chancellor said: 'Jeremy Corbyn has had two chances to be prime minister and I think the country gave their verdict, most recently in 2019 when Labour had its worst result since 1935. 'If he wants to give it another go, be my guest. I think the voters will have the same reaction.' Asked by Mr Dale if Labour was being complacent about the new political group, she said: 'It's not being complacent. He tried to destroy my party and he can now go set up his own party. 'The country has rejected him twice. The bloke's got a big ego. He can have another go but I think the country will have the same verdict.' Speaking at the same event, the Chancellor said Reform UK was now Labour's main rival, describing the Tories as 'irrelevant'. But she warned that Nigel Farage offered 'simple solutions' that amounted to a 'mirage'. Mr Corbyn has been approached for comment.
