Bada Mangal + Shani Jayanti = Double Power, Double Blessings!
May 27th isn't just a Monday—it's the celestial version of a double espresso shot of divine energy.
With Bada Mangal and Shani Jayanti landing on the same day, the spiritual vibes are not just high—they're practically doing backflips.
Let's decode this holy power couple.
Bada Mangal – Hanuman's Super Tuesday
Bada Mangal is no regular Tuesday. It's the mega edition, celebrated only in the month of Jyeshtha, and it's fully booked with blessings from Lord Hanuman. Known for strength, protection, and breaking toxic patterns like a pro, Hanuman energy on Bada Mangal hits harder than a motivational speech from a gym coach with a Sanskrit degree.
Devotees observe fasts, visit temples, and offer red flowers and jaggery. It's the perfect day to ask Hanuman to ghost fear and toxicity from all WhatsApp groups—permanently.
Shani Jayanti – Saturn's Annual Appraisal Day
Shani Jayanti marks the birth of Lord Shani, the zodiac's strict teacher and cosmic auditor. Saturn doesn't hand out blessings like candy. He checks karmic receipts, gives slow-burn rewards, and expects accountability like a life coach in a black robe.
But here's the thing—those who honor Shani with sincerity on his birthday often get rewarded with life upgrades that last.
Offerings include mustard oil, black sesame, and prayers to reduce Shani Dosh and karmic baggage that weighs more than the emotional trauma from one-sided texting.
So… What Happens When These Two Collide?
Energy-wise? It's spiritual steroids.
One is the ultimate protector (Hanuman). The other is the karmic judge (Shani). Together? They're the justice league of divine intervention.
What to Do on May 27th:
Light a diya under a Peepal tree (extra credit if it's Saturday night energy carried into Tuesday).
Recite Hanuman Chalisa and Shani Mantra with full heart.
Donate black clothes, iron, or urad dal to attract blessings.
Fast with intention, not just for show.
This rare combo invites strength, protection, and karmic alignment. Basically, May 27th is when the universe says: 'Manifest wisely. I'm actually listening today.'

Here's How Parineeti Chopra Lost 15 Kilos, Was It The Gym Or A Martial Art?
There is no denying that Parineeti Chopra is a star – on and off the screen. Whether it is her acting skills or her fitness journey, she always manages to inspire. For her latest film Amar Singh Chamkila, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti gained 15 kilos for the role. While her performance as Amarjot Kaur impressed us all, what really stood out was her transformation after the film. She lost all the extra weight and reminded us how staying fit is totally doable. Before we get into the details of Parineeti's weight loss journey, let's take a quick look at how fit she is now. View this post on Instagram A post shared by @parineetichopra Earlier, Parineeti posted a video on her social media showing her intense gym routine. In the caption, she opened up about her weight gain for the role. She wrote, 'I spent 6 months last year singing in Rahman sir's studio, and going back home to eat as much junk as I possibly could to put on 15 KILOS for Chamkila!' I spent 6 months this year singing in Rahman sir's studio, & going back home to eat as much junk as I possibly could to put on 15 KILOS for Chamkila! (Coming soon on Netflix😍) Music and Food. That was my routine. Now that the film is done, the story is completely the opposite. — Parineeti Chopra (@ParineetiChopra) December 4, 2023 Talking about her workout regime, the actress added, 'Music and Food. That was my routine. Now that the film is done, the story is the opposite. I miss the studio, and work in the gym trying to look like myself again. And not like Amarjot ji! Its been hard. But anything for you Imtiaz sir! And this role.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by @parineetichopra But this is not the first time Parineeti has shed serious kilos and inspired fans. According to Times of India, she had lost 28 kilos a few years ago with a clean diet and regular workouts. As part of her fitness plan back then, she took up Kalaripayattu – a traditional Indian martial art from Kerala. One of the oldest in the world, which is not just about kicks and punches. Kalaripayattu works your entire body. There's jumping, stretching, balancing and even training with weapons. It builds strength, burns calories and improves flexibility. The moves are fast and sharp, which also help boost stamina and focus. Parineeti Chopra learned it while working on her transformation – and it clearly paid off. The best part? It is never boring. You stay active, alert and pick up a new skill while getting fit. It is a workout, but with a cultural twist.

Mohit Suri's romantic drama 'Saiyaara' is proving to be a big winner at the box office. Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda , the film has already crossed Rs 220 crore and shows no signs of slowing down. As of Day 10 (second Sunday), it has collected Rs 8.48 crore by 2.15 pm , bringing the total to an impressive Rs 225.73 crore , according to early estimates by Sacnilk. Since the film has now joined the Rs 200 crore club and is quickly moving towards its next goal, which is Rs 250 crore. No drop below double digits One of the most surprising things about 'Saiyaara' is that the film hasn't fallen below double-digit earnings in the last nine days. With the weekend giving it another push, it's expected to continue doing well and could cross the Rs 250 crore mark very soon. Box Office breakdown: Here's how 'Saiyaara' has done so far Week 1: Day 1 (Friday): Rs 21.5 crore Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 26 crore Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 35.75 crore Day 4 (Monday): Rs 24 crore Day 5 (Tuesday): Rs 25 crore Day 6 (Wednesday): Rs 21.5 crore Day 7 (Thursday): Rs 19 crore Week 1 Total: Rs 172.75 crore Week 2: Day 8 (Friday): Rs 18 crore Day 9 (Saturday): Rs 26.5 crore Day 10 (Sunday): Rs 8.48 crore (as of 2.15 pm) Total so far: Rs 225.73 crore About 'Saiyaara' 'Saiyaara' tells the emotional story of Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), a young musician, and Vaani Batra (played by Aneet Padda), a quiet and thoughtful writer. As their love grows, the film explores topics like heartbreak, healing and the power of connection. Second biggest hindi film of the year Thanks to strong word-of-mouth, 'Saiyaara' has now passed Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 5' to become the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025. The only film ahead of it is Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava', which crossed Rs 600 crore. What started as a film expected to end around Rs 200 crore has now become a strong challenger for the Rs 300 crore club. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Mini House for 60 sqm for Seniors with Toilet and Bath (Price May Surprise You) Pre Fabricated Homes | Search Ads Search Now Undo 'Saiyaara' review Times of India gave the film 3 stars and praised the emotional impact of the story. The review reads, 'Suri gets the emotional core just right, but the film's uneven pacing intermittently slows things down and often rushes through pivotal turns. Moments of raw emotion do land, though a slightly rushed climax leaves much to be desired.' The review also highlighted the music and visuals, 'The film's emotional core finds a match in its evocative music by Faheem Abdullah, Tanishk Bagchi, Rishabh Kant, Vishal Mishra, Arslan Nizami, Mithoon, and Sachet-Parampara. John Stewart Eduri's background score enhances the overall experience. Vikas Sivaraman's cinematography lends the movie an unmistakable cinematic appeal, with energetic live performances and camera angles that effectively capture the tender love and emotional scenes. ' The performances of the lead pair have also been praised, 'Ahaan Panday makes a smashing debut, capturing both the rough-edged swagger of a star-in-the-making and the vulnerability demanded later on. His prowess is on display in the finale as he revisits an earlier scene—channelling Virat 'King' Kohli—transforming the raw passion of the first half into pure emotion later.' What's next for 'Saiyaara'? With such strong numbers and growing popularity, 'Saiyaara' could easily reach the Rs 250 crore milestone in the coming days. If the momentum keeps going, it may even become the second hindi film of the year to enter the Rs 300 crore club.
