Vacation's Classic Whip SPF 30, a wildly beloved "dessert for your skin" that feels so lightweight and decadent to apply that reviewers can't get enough of it. (No, REALLY. This is selling out all over 😭.) Not only does it feel ridiculously indulgent, but it's water-resistant and sensitive skin-friendly, so you'll be the sweetest AND safest treat.
An effortlessly chic woven straw summer clutch to pair perfectly with any summer outfit, whether you're kicking back at the beach or fancying it up for a wedding. This is basically the purse equivalent of that one friend of yours who's always like "Yeah, I'm down" before you even tell them the plans.
Tree Hut Coco Colada Hand Wash infused with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to help hydrate and restore skin health so your hands can be super clean *and* super nourished. Now all you have to do is prepare to have the link to this handy whenever guests come over and are like, "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS DELECTABLE SOAP??"
Black Girl Sunscreen's Make It Pop Sungloss with SPF 50 (!!) that reviewers *adore* both as a glossy shine on bare lips, or to make their signature lippies pop. Who knew sun protection could look so chic?
A set of delightfully wacky, DEET-free mosquito-repelling bracelets for the ultimate in genius summer investments — these use essential oils, including citronella, to help stop those teensy vampires in their tracks.
A set of limited edition Band-Aids with retro flower patterns so the next time you get a little ouch, you can be like, "wound care, but make it summer-y."
A pair of luxe retro-style oval sunglasses giving Miu Miu vibes without the $489 price tag. The devil's in the chic details on this one, including the little gold embellishments on the sides and the nostalgic shape of the lenses, which are softer than the typical skinny oval lens.
Wild Iris Musk Body Wash, the summer-friendly sister of the TikTok-famous "old money" Baccarat Rouge 540-inspired body wash. I am a massive fan of both — the moisturizing clean is so fresh, and the scents are so DELIGHTFULLY luscious without overpowering — but trust me when I say that Wild Iris Musk is *the* warm weather scent. It's floral, soft, playful, and grounded all at once. (And yes, just like the original version, it smells ... expensive 👀.)
A set of hair-tie bracelets designed to look like *actual* jewelry, so you won't be kicking yourself when you realize you left a hair tie on your wrist for every photo.
A deck of waterproof cards so if you end up taking "Go Fish" a little too literally, your hand will survive plopping into the pool.
Sally Hansen's iconic Insta-Dri nail polish perfect for anyone who wants quick touch-ups on their fingers and toes but has ZERO time to spare. If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting, fast-drying polish to save not just time, but big bucks at the salon, I cannot recommend these enough!

And Case-Mate's iconic waterproof beach totes, which are, of course, ridiculously roomy and useful, but more importantly, RIDICULOUSLY cute. This is an "It" accessory of the beach if there ever were one. Get ready to be swimming in the ocean AND in compliments from strangers. Bonus — it even comes with a separate dry bag for your phone!
A pair of sweatproof "floating" air conduction headphones designed to stay put by settling just over your ear instead of inside it — basically all the convenience and privacy of earbuds, without the discomfort of physically putting them in your ears. It picks up calls just as well as any other pair, and is designed so the sound isn't audible to anyone else!
Sol de Janeiro's Jet Set for anyone who wants to try all the most iconic products that come in the brand's cult-favorite "sunshine" scents without paying a pretty penny for all three — now you can snag a Bum Bum Cream, body and hair mist, *and* body wash in one convenient set, and even take them traveling with you.
A wildly popular hummingbird projection lantern to light up your porch when you get home late and make your home look like it belong in a whimsical fairy tale.
And a set of shatterproof solar-powered outdoor lights that add some whimsy to your backyard space without using up your electricity. Reviewers are especially impressed by how weatherproof these are, and how they continue to perform over time!
A pack of instant cold-stirred foam caramel iced lattes so you can get all that delicious, decadent ~froth~ you love so much right from the comfort of your own home. Considering the price of a fancy bev these days, this is a STEAL at a buck per drink.
A "Birthday Cake Stick" lip balm that earned its place as a cult-fave — not only is this super nourishing on your lips, but it tastes like vanilla cake, buttercream icing, and rainbow sprinkles, so now you can have your cake and moisturize with it, too.
A set of reusable rainbow poopy "water balloon," a set of environmentally-friendly splash toys that prove poop really can save the world. Magnets keep the balloons closed, so all you have to do to refill is dunk them in a safe water source and snap the shut again. Let the (kinda gross, but still cute) games begin!!
An affordable sleeveless exercise romper you will be SO glad you bought on days when the sun is trying to bake you like cookie dough. These are medium-compressive, soft, breezy, and SUPER easy to throw on when your brain is too fried to match a top and a bottom in the heat. Bonus — these are comparable to Aerie, Abercrombie, and Hollister versions that can go for three times this price!
Dove Brown Sugar and Coconut Butter Body Scrub designed to be oh-so-gentle on your skin, with a softer texture that isn't as coarse as other brands but leaves you fully exfoliated and smooth. Plus there's the added bonus of smelling so yummy that you'll be like, "Oooh, should I take a bite out of my own self?"
A four-pack of silicone straw soda can lids that are like, "Oh, you're obsessed with Diet Coke? Let me find you a reason to be even MORE obsessed." Reviewers love these not just for the ~thrill~ of a straw, but because the covers make the cans a whole lot more spill-proof, prevent your drink from going flat, and protect your can from bugs and debris during outdoor hangs.
A waterproof, super lightweight JBL Go 3 speaker so you can impress your friends not just with your excellent playlist curation skills, but the ridiculous sound quality that comes out of this tiny gizmo. It's so portable that you can easily tuck it into a tote bag on your way to a park or pool hang, and so waterproof that reviewers even keep it in the shower!
Reef Water platform sandals, aka the ultimate in cute, comfortable, and water-friendly sandals that will be the "go-to" shoe of your summer. These don't have a break-in period, can be dressed up or down, and have a cheeky little platform to them so you can cosplay as someone an inch taller than you usually are. Reviewers ESPECIALLY love these for traveling because of how versatile they are!
A bag of FIRECRACKER! POPSICLE! FLAVORED!!! Liquid I.V. electrolyte drink mix, so you have extra incentive to hit your hydration goals on blazing hot trips *and* you can relive the glory of chasing down the ice cream truck as a kid. Reviewers are genuinely stunned by how much this tastes like the ~real thing~.
Patchology's Serve Chilled Rosé Hydrating Under Eye Patches for a little bit of extra ✨glamour✨ to your self-care routine — these are hyaluronic acid and antioxidant-infused to help with dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines, so you can take them off feeling every bit as refreshed as a crisp glass of rosé feels.
An affordable, Lululemon-esque longline sports bra so comfy, supportive, and versatile that reviewers love it both for outdoor workouts, gym use, *and* errand running. This is designed to be supportive without being too compressive, with lightweight fabric that keeps you breezy in the heat.
A roll-up wide brim UPF 50 sun hat to protect your cheeks from the sun's rays *and* keep you looking effortlessly chic no matter how many days it's been since your last hair wash. This one is a real winner because of how absurdly packable it is, making it perfect for shoving into a tote bag on long days and a suitcase on vacation — and how affordable it is compared to $87+ versions from brands like Bloomingdale's, Wallaroo, and Cuyana.
A little rose-shaped straw topper for your emotional support water bottle so you can remind yourself everything's (literally) coming up roses every time you pluck it off to take a sip. This is an excellent way to keep your straw safe from germs in between sips!
A super affordable retro-style portable mini fridge you can use for a whole menagerie of purposes, whether you're keeping food cold on a road trip, or want a little bevvy fridge in your room, or want to keep your beauty products or medications chilled. Also, bonus points for being absolutely adorable.
A Lululemon-esque adjustable mini belted pack (aka ~fanny pack~) you can wear around your waist or shoulder for a lightweight bag alternative that you won't lose, since it is literally attached to you. A lot of reviewers mention how genuinely *stunned* they are by how much this little bag can secretly carry.
A reversible vintage-inspired floral bathing suit with adjustable, oh-so-sweet bow straps that are almost too cute to exist. Like, spare some cuteness for the rest of the beach, will you??
A beautifully packaged, travel-friendly Touchland Glow Mist hydrating hand sanitizer for anyone who's like "mindfully practicing health and safety, but make it fashion." Unlike other sanitizer sprays, it's infused with aloe vera to keep your skin hydrated and has the most luxurious floral scents.
An adorable, clear waterproof sunscreen bag to keep your various SPFs for easy access when you need to protect yourself from the sun's shenanigans, and to keep the rest of your stuff safe if one of your sunscreen bottles decides to go ~kaboom~. (Psst — these have the same vibe as the beloved Stoney Clover cosmetic bags that start at $68!)
A wildly popular floral print sheer cover up for the perfect finishing touch to all your spring and summer outfits that won't make you swelter in the heat. Reviewers especially love how easily this packs (and photographs!!) for travel.

Edinburgh TikToker visits 'one of worst rated' McDonald's and leaves 'depressed'

A popular Edinburgh food reviewer visited one of the lowest rated McDonald's in the country and the experience left him 'depressed'. Charlie Roscoe has built up 25k followers on TikTok after he started visiting unsuspecting local establishments in the hunt for hidden gems and to give a shoutout to restaurants that don't necessarily hit the headlines. Recently, he ventured out of Edinburgh to Midlothian and visited what he claims to be the worst McDonald's in the country. The two-storey fast food joint, at Hardengreen, Dalkeith, has a 1.6 rating on Tripadvisor. READ MORE: West Lothian scheme 'locked down' as armed officers seen patrolling streets READ MORE: Edinburgh's secret tunnel 500 metres deep that let people to walk under the Forth It also has a three-star rating from nearly 1,300 Google reviews. The restaurant is located between the towns of Bonnyrigg and Dalkeith and sits opposite a Tesco supermarket as well as a newly built Greggs and Starbucks. Before entering, Charlie reads out some of the reviews this particular branch has attracted, including people complaining about the presentation of their burger and allegedly being sold mouldy chicken nuggets. Expecting chaos as soon as he opened the doors, Charlie found himself "unpleasantly" surprised while sitting upstairs watching a member of staff wiping down tables. He went as far to say the interior was "sparkling." He said: "First impressions - the 'worst McDonald's in the country' was looking in good shape. It is one of few fancy modern McDonald's. I placed my order on the fancy kiosk trying to buy items people say they get wrong. "I then took myself upstairs where everything was clean. I even saw someone wiping down the tables in the flesh. Shoutout to this guy because the place was absolutely sparkling. "I'm already unpleasantly surprised at how normal this maccies is. The place is spotless, it's clean. I wanted to sit down and have rats crawling all over me but let's wait and see what the food is like." Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages. Charlie ordered a Big Mac meal, a Mayo Chicken and nine Chicken McNuggets and was immediately impressed with the warmth of the fries and the presentation of his Big Mac, which attracted a host of bad reviews. Charlie admitted he expected 'a swarm of locusts' to fly out when he opened his Big Mac box, but again was surprised at the overall presentation and taste. He continued: "I opened the nuggets next, expecting there to be one missing as a lot of people who left reviews said they forgot a nugget. But inside were nine, super crunchy, warm nuggies. "And by the way this McDonald's gave me a receipt and had working sauce dispensers, making it a lot better than most McDonald's I've been to. The Big Mac was next and I just straightened it up a little before eating instead of writing a huge review about it. "Honestly I was a bit depressed after this meal as I wanted it to be bad but honestly this was one of the better McDonald's I think I've ever been to. I think they must have upped their game after being announced as the worst in Scotland."

Security Camera Captures Exact Moment Woman 'Knew' About Foster Dog

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A woman's home security camera captured the exact moment she realized she needed to adopt her foster dog, and it's melted hearts online. TikTok user @yalcantara1023 shared the emotional video on social media on June 18, showing the precise moment it became clear that her dog was a foster fail. The footage shows her walking into the house after taking the dog out at 6 a.m., and he immediately gave her "the sweetest dog hug" as a thank you. The grateful rescue pup leapt up and was incredibly affectionate towards @yalcantara1023 for taking care of him. She was due to return him to the shelter that same morning, but after that heartfelt moment, there was no way @yalcantara1023, from California, could return him. That was exactly when she "knew [she] had to adopt" him. It's almost like the dog knew what was about to happen. TikTok user @yalcantara1023 realizing she wanted to adopt her foster dog, Moose. TikTok user @yalcantara1023 realizing she wanted to adopt her foster dog, Moose. @yalcantara1023 / TikTok Layered over the video, the caption reads: "He wouldn't let go...I believe in soul dogs now." Internet users can't get enough of the precious moment, which was captured in its entirety by the Google Nest camera. The video has gone viral since it was shared online, leading to more than 1.3 million views and over 218,800 likes on TikTok at the time of writing. In the days after that clip went viral, @yalcantara1023 couldn't resist following it up with the home security footage of the moment she walked back into the house having just adopted her dog, Moose. Just like the first clip, the rescue dog jumped up and gave her another enormous hug. When someone signs up to foster a pet temporarily, but then realizes they couldn't possibly send them back, they might choose to adopt them permanently instead. That's known as a foster fail. While the idea of it being a failure holds negative connotations, research conducted by Michigan State University suggests that it could actually prove to be a positive force on the animal and their adopter. Indeed, the survey found that 60 percent of volunteers have adopted an animal they only intended to foster, and around half of them have kept one or two animals. As for the volunteers who have adopted a foster animal, they were found to be more satisfied with their experience, which may encourage them to continue their service. After the video of @yalcantara1023 realizing she had to adopt Moose went viral, it's gained over 1,300 comments from TikTok users who were left fighting back the tears. One comment reads: "OMG HE KNEW! Good for you to keep him." Another TikTok user wrote: "He held your hands with his little paws." Another person added: "Sometimes the dog picks you. You don't always get a choice." While one commenter replied: "He has no idea that moment changed your entire decision. He just wanted a cuddle." Newsweek has contacted @yalcantara1023 via email for comment. We could not verify the details of the video. Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? Hero dad dives into sea to save daughter who fell from Disney Dream cruise —treading water for 20 mins before pulled to safety

A fearless father jumped off a Disney cruise ship when his daughter fell overboard — miraculously getting hold of her and then treading water for around 20 minutes before they were both rescued. The Disney Dream was heading from Florida to the Bahamas on Sunday when an alert suddenly announced loudly, 'Mr MOB… port side,' referring to 'man overboard,' video of the drama show. 'A girl fell overboard from the 4th deck & her dad went in after her,' fellow passenger Kevin Furuta posted on Facebook. Other vacationers watched in horror as a bright yellow rescue boat was lowered into the water to where the dad and daughter were seen bobbing in the Atlantic, drifting ever further from the cruise ship. 3 The father and daughter were rescued in a matter of minutes, travelers onboard said. Noe-Ayala875/TikTok The dad spent around 20 minutes in the sea holding his daughter — who appeared to be about 5 — before they were both pulled to safety, according to some of the online posts. 'Lots of praying folks on this ship!' posted another passenger, Dewayne Smith, who also reported that the 'little girl fell overboard and her dad jumped overboard to try to save her.' 'Both the little girl and dad were both successfully rescued.' 3 The Disney cruise liner immediately deployed a rescue boat. NoeAyala32/TikTok It was not immediately clear how the girl first fell. Disney Cruise Line confirmed that its crew 'swiftly rescued two guests from the water.' 3 It's not clear how the girl fell off the cruise ship. CMD-91/TikTok 'We commend our Crew Members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes,' a spokesperson told USA TODAY. 'We are committed to the safety and well-being of our guests, and this incident highlights the effectiveness of our safety protocols.' Disney cruise liners each are equipped with an overboard detection system which alerts the ship's crew to people tumbling from the ship into the sea in real time.
