'Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal' OTT release: Missed it in theatres? Here's where to watch the Anaswara Rajan starrer
(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) If you missed watching 'Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal' during its theatrical run, here's some good news. The Anaswara Rajan-starrer, which hit cinemas on June 13, is all set for its digital premiere. The film will begin streaming on ManoramaMAX from August 14, 2025, making it accessible to audiences who couldn't catch it on the big screen. The OTT platform announced the update via a post that read, "Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal | Upcomingmovie | manoramaMAX . " What the film is about 'Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal' follows the story of Anjali, a small-town shopkeeper's daughter played by Anaswara Rajan. Anjali's life is complicated, she's constantly under pressure from her over-involved parents, faces emotional confusion due to a one-sided lover, and is on the verge of marriage she's not sure she wants. The movie had received decent reviews from the audiences for it's quirky mix of humor in a serious situation. Things take a sudden turn when her beloved grandmother passes away. Set largely inside a funeral home, the film unfolds as Anjali confronts grief, love, expectations, and personal choices. The atmosphere becomes surprisingly lively and humorous as various relatives and visitors bring their own dramas to the space. Mohanlal cooks for his buddies Check out our review ETimes rated the film with 3 stars out of 5 and and excerpt from our official review read, "Director-writer Vipin, as a Thonnakkal native, enriches the film, lending authenticity to the dialogues and ensuring the local dialect is used organically rather than as a forced gimmick. There's nothing shocking in this almost slice-of-life film. However, at its core lies a social commentary that prompts viewers to ask themselves some serious questions. These characters are around us — and in some ways, they are us." The film is anchored by a mature and charming performance by Anaswara Rajan Siju Sunny, Joemon Jyothir, Baiju Santhosh, Azees Nedumangad, Noby Marcose, and veteran Mallika Sukumaran.
