Four banned from Pennsylvania casinos for leaving children alone to gamble
PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — Four men have been added to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List after they left children unattended to gamble at casinos.
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), 17 people have been added to that list, but four of whom were added for leaving children unattended. The exclusion list prevents them from entering casinos in Pennsylvania and betting online.

Here are the details for each incident:
A male patron left three children, ages 2, 11 and 12, in a vehicle in the parking garage at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course for two hours and six minutes while he gambled at table games
A male patron left minors unattended on two occasions at Rivers Casino Philadelphia:
Two children ages 3 and 12 in a vehicle in the parking lot for nine minutes while he gambled at the sportsbook
Two children, both 14 years of age, in a vehicle in the parking lot for 10 minutes while he gambled at the sportsbook
A male patron left three children, ages 8, 11 and 13, unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot at Presque Isle Downs and Casino for 10 minutes while he gambled at the sportsbook
A male patron left a 12-year-old unattended in the lobby of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia for 41 minutes while he gambled at slot machines
'Actions such as these to deny statewide gambling privileges serve as a reminder that adults are prohibited from leaving minors unattended in the parking lot or garage, a hotel, or other venues at a casino since it creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children,' The PGCB said in a release.
Another four people who were added to the list were part of a dice sliding team from Texas. They were able to cheat and gain almost $50,000 in winnings at Hollywood Casino Morgantown before their activity was detected and shut down.

2 Philly men arrested with $22,000 worth of drugs in Altoona
ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two men from Philadelphia were arrested in Altoona on suspicion of drug trafficking Thursday night. Tyrone Chase, Jr., 29, and Ruben Rivera, 30, both from Philadelphia, are each charged with three felony counts for drug possession with intent to deliver. According to the Altoona Police Department, members of the Blair County Drug Task Force were patrolling downtown Altoona when they came across a Buick LaCrosse with heavily tinted windows along 17th Avenue and 14th Street. Police and K-9 Unit 'Blue' pulled the car over and found Chase and Ruben inside. K-9 'Blue' and his handler conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and K-9 'Blue' alerted his handler for the presence of drugs. Police were granted permission to search the car and impounded it. Inside, they allegedly located a large amount of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine. Police said they seized 585 individual 'Philly Bags' of heroin and fentanyl, one gram of loose fentanyl, 181 small containers of crack and $1,274 in cash. According to Altoona Police, the amount of drugs found in the vehicle are evidential of narcotics trafficking and have a street value of over $22,000. Pennsylvania man charged after dog left in hot truck dies
A man is facing charges after police said a dog left in a hot truck in a Pennsylvania parking lot died from heat stroke. Forty-three-year-old James William Smith of Tyrone was charged with a felony count of animal cruelty that resulted in death after his dog died on the way to the vet, CBS affiliate WTAJ reported. Allegheny Township police were wrapping up at the scene of a crash when bystanders told them that there was an English bulldog inside a truck in a parking lot off Plank Road, the TV station reported. Court documents obtained by WTAJ said that police found the dog lying on the seat, surrounded by feces, panting and unable to get up. Police got the dog out of the car and tried to render first aid while bystanders went into a nearby restaurant for ice, water and wet towels. Police said they identified Smith as the owner when he came out, WTAJ reported. Smith told police the dog was only in the truck for about 40 minutes. Officers put the dog in their cruiser and took it to the hospital. But when they got there, WTAJ reported that the staff told officers the dog had died from heat stroke. An officer from the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society arrived and told police that it was 81 degrees outside of the truck and 120 degrees inside, according to the TV station. Smith was arrested and taken to the Blair County Jail.
