Vision plans for all Assembly constituencies will be ready by next month, says A.P. CM
At a review meeting on the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu said with the State, district, and mandal-level plans in place under the Swarna Andhra Vision, constituency-specific vision plans are scheduled for completion by the next month.
Thematic reports will be ready by June, and sectoral roadmaps by September, according to officials. Core policies like Zero Poverty (P4) and population management will be embedded into the vision framework, he said.
Mr. Naidu highlighted the importance of capacity building at all levels of government to improve service delivery and administrative efficiency.
'From a village-level worker to a Secretary, capacity building is essential for everyone,' he said, adding that both online and offline training programmes would hone skillsets and efficiency among government employees.
'From agriculture officers to Secretaries, from constables to the DGP – everyone must undergo capacity building,' he said.
'I will personally focus on continuous learning – I learn new things, understand emerging technologies, and explore how to bring reforms through tech-driven governance. Skill development through training will yield results and improve the quality of governance,' the Chief Minister said.
The State government is planning to introduce a dedicated Population Management Policy with the objective of achieving population balance.
Several decisions have already been taken to encourage population growth, including the removal of limits on maternity leave for women government employees with up to two children and lifting disqualification restrictions in local body elections for those with more than two children.
'A comprehensive survey will be undertaken to understand the opportunities and challenges related to population trends, which will help shape the final policy,' Mr. Naidu said.
Capacity-building workshops
The capacity-building workshops being conducted in all districts will conclude by May 9. Locations have been identified in 143 constituencies to set up Constituency Vision Action Plan Units.
As part of the Zero Poverty P4 initiative, 1,118 mentors have adopted 15,315 'Golden Families' across the State. To institutionalise this effort, the government is establishing the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation, with the Chief Minister as the Chairman. A 25-member general body, an executive committee, and empowered teams will drive its mission.
CM lauds Indian Army
Mr. Naidu praised the swift response to the Pahalgam attack and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decisive leadership. 'The Indian response has gained global support, which is a testament to the strength of Nr. Modi's foreign policy,' he said.
Mr. Naidu described the execution of the anti-terror operation as 'brilliant' and said that every Indian stands united in support of Mr. Modi and the armed forces.

Singapore is at ‘heart' of India's Act East Policy: Jaishankar
India will play an increasingly important role globally as the world "inexorably" transitions into multipolarity, Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said after holding talks with his Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar on Sunday (July 13, 2025). Mr. Jaishankar, who was in the city-state as part of his two-nation trip, also met President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong. Singapore is at the "heart" of India's Act East Policy, Mr. Jaishankar said after his meeting with Mr. Balakrishnan. From Singapore, he travels to China. India-Singapore relations were elevated to a comprehensive strategic partnership during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country in September last year. "As the world inexorably transitions into multipolarity, India will play an increasingly important role as one of these major poles of opportunity," Mr. Balakrishnan said in a social media post. The two sides also decided to hold the third India-Singapore ministerial roundtable in New Delhi soon. The External Affairs Ministry said the two sides reviewed progress of the outcomes of Prime Minister Modi's visit as well as the second round of India-Singapore ministerial roundtable. The focus of India-Singapore ties during Modi's visit as well as the ministerial roundtable was to boost cooperation in areas of investments, industrial parks, semiconductors, infrastructure, skill development and connectivity. The Ministry said both sides also exchanged views on ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), Indo-Pacific and global developments. 'The External Affairs Minister also met Teo Chee Hean, former senior minister and coordinating minister for national security and chairman-designate of Temasek Holdings,' it said. 'Their discussion focused on transformation underway in India and opportunities for Temasek to expand its investments in India,' the Ministry said in a statement. Mr. Jaishankar's visit is part of continued high-level exchanges between two countries and reflects the importance India attaches to its relations with Singapore, it added.

Buy or sell: Vaishali Parekh recommends three stocks to buy today — 14 July 2025
Buy or sell stocks: Following a sell-off in technology and auto stocks, the Indian stock market ended lower for the third straight session on Friday. The Nifty 50 index ended 205 points lower at 25,149, the lowest closing level for the index since June 24th, 2025. The BSE Sensex shed 698 points and closed at 82,500, while the Bank Nifty index finished 201 points lower at 56,754. Despite the broader market's dip, Hindustan Unilever, SBI Life, and Sun Pharma emerged as top performers on the Nifty, demonstrating resilience. Conversely, TCS, M&M, and Hero MotoCorp concluded the session as major losers, bearing the brunt of the selling pressure. Trading volumes on the NSE cash market were notably higher by 13% compared to yesterday. The Nifty Midcap and the Smallcap Indices also witnessed profit booking in line with the benchmark indices. The Nifty Midcap 100 Index continued its downward journey for the sixth consecutive day, falling by 0.9%, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 Index plunged 1.02%. Market breadth ended decisively negative, with declining stocks sharply outpacing advancing ones, as indicated by a BSE advance-decline ratio of 0.63, the lowest since June 19th. Vaishali Parekh, Vice President of Technical Research at Prabhudas Lilladher, believes the Indian stock market sentiment has turned cautious as the Nifty 50 index has slipped below the crucial support levels of 25,250 on a closing basis. The Prabhudas Lilladher expert said the next critical support for the key benchmark index is 24,900. Speaking on the Nifty 50 outlook, Vaishali Parekh said, "The Nifty 50 index amid heavy profit booking plunged below the important support zone of 25,250 level with bias slightly becoming weak and has the next crucial support near 24,900 zone of the significant 50-EMA level, which needs to be sustained to maintain the overall trend intact. Volatility in the index shall continue with the ongoing results season. On the upside, as mentioned earlier, a decisive breach above the 25,650 zone is necessary to trigger fresh upward movement in the coming days." "The Bank Nifty index witnessed some erosion in the morning session but consolidated thereafter to end near the 56,750 zone with bias still maintained intact, having the crucial support positioned near the 56,000 level, which needs to be sustained as of now. At the same time, the index would need to breach above the resistance level of 57,600 and expect fresh higher targets of 58,500 and 60,000 levels in the coming days," said Parekh. Parekh said the immediate support for the Nifty today is at 25,000, while the resistance is at 25,300. The Bank Nifty would have a daily range of 56,400 to 57,300. 1] Paradeep Phosphates: Buy at ₹ 162, Target ₹ 173, Stop Loss ₹ 155; 2] Godawari Power and Ispat: Buy at ₹ 186, Target ₹ 200, Stop Loss ₹ 180; and 3] NMDC: Buy at ₹ 69, Target ₹ 75, Stop Loss ₹ 66.
