Previously, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Maheep Kapoor also praised Shanaya and sent her wishes ahead of her debut movie.
'Shanaya, the love of my life, I am so excited. You are about to start a brand new chapter, a very exciting chapter in your life. And I just want to tell you, your first movie is always going to have that extra magic and that extra sparkle and that extra sweetness because it's your first. I couldn't have asked the universe for a better film, a better director who's been so kind and patient. Santosh Singh, you're the best. I couldn't have asked for a more dashing, more dynamic actor like Vikrant Massey. I would have never in my wildest dreams thought, your producers Mansi and Varun, what they all added to this magic pot, Shanaya. And I want you to absorb it. The good, the bad, everything. I always knew, I told dad when you saw the movie Saawariya, when you saw Sonam, I knew you had tasted blood. And ever since then, you wanted to be on the big screen. I cannot wait for the world to see my baby on the big screen. All I can say is they're going to love you as much as I do (sic)," Maheep said.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is directed by Santosh Singh and is based on Ruskin Bond's story — The Eyes Have It. Produced by Zee Studios, Mini Films and Open Window Films, the film is scheduled for a release on July 11.
