Kirkland Lake hit by fourth water main break in a week
Some homes and businesses lost water service Friday after the town's fourth water main rupture in a week. The latest break hit Chateau Drive, following others on Al Wende Avenue and at Bloomfield Road. Mayor Stacy Wight said aging infrastructure is a known issue, with repairs slowed by funding gaps.

Willistead Manor summer tours begin next week
Willistead Manor in the Walkerville neighbourhood of Windsor, Ont. on Tuesday, June 8 2021. (Gary Archibald/CTV Windsor) July summer tours begin next week at Willistead Manor. The 36-room mansion sits within the 15-acre Willistead Park. The location offers tours, weddings, receptions, meetings, performances and special events. Willistead Manor was recently recognized at the Best of Windsor-Essex Awards with the 'Best Attraction – Historical' award for the second year in a row. Tours will be offered on Wednesdays in July from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
