Diaz to Bayern is being considered
The state of affairs as we know it is that Diaz is open to all possibilities - whether that is agreeing a new long-term contract, staying for the remaining two years of his current deal and then moving elsewhere, or agreeing to a transfer this summer for a fee. The player merely wants clarity.

Liverpool, however, are currently unwilling to offer him a new contract, and definitely not the terms the Colombian would be looking for, but the the club are also unwilling to sell him this season.
At left-wing with Cody Gakpo and Diaz, the Reds have the best depth in the world and choosing to lose that is going to require a bold call, even if two starters aren't required for the set-up to succeed.
Barcelona were interested in Diaz, and still are, except his asking price is going to be too high for them to complete a move. It's why Nico Williams didn't join from Athletic Club. Both are unaffordable.
Bayern Munich are in a far healthier financial position, however, and so they're also interested.

Report – Barcelona Face Two Obstacles As Portuguese Super Agent Offers Blaugrana Superstar Inter Milan Wingback
Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries to Barcelona. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Catalan outfit would gladly sign the Dutchman. However, there's a catch. Denzel Dumfries could leave Inter in the coming weeks, with Mendes working to find the 29-year-old a new club. Indeed, there's a €25 million release clause that's valid until the end of July. Therefore, time is a factor. Inter Milan Star Denzel Dumfries Offered to Barcelona Dumfries tore Barcelona apart in last season's Champions League semifinals. Indeed, he inspired Inter's remarkable 7-6 aggregate win with outstanding performances in both legs. In doing so, Dumfries caught Hansi Flick's eye. Now, Mendes is looking to capitalize on that and take his client to Camp Nou. While Barcelona wouldn't mind signing a player of Dumfries' quality on favorable terms, they remain cash-strapped. As a result, they cannot afford to meet the player's exit clause at once. Instead, they would need Inter to accept a structured payment plan, which doesn't look likely. Additionally, Barcelona must free up salary space to register new players under La Liga rules.

Fenerbahce President Drops Bombshell Revealing Inter Milan Star's Confession: 'Would Like To Play For Fenerbahce'
Fenerbahce president Ali Koc dropped a bombshell when he announced Hakan Calhanoglu told him he was ready to leave Inter Milan for Istanbul. According to Turkish journalist Yagız Sabuncuoglu via FCInterNews, Koc revealed the 31-year-old's shocking confession. Rumors surrounding Calhanoglu's future have been swirling for weeks. Indeed, reigning Super Lig holders Galatasaray were keen to sign the Turkey captain. However, they failed to find an agreement with Inter. Despite Galatasaray's readiness to offer Hakan Calhanoglu substantial wages, they had no intention of meeting Inter's demands. For context, they were ready to hand the former AC Milan midfielder a lucrative contract worth €10 million net per season. Meanwhile, they deemed Inter's €35m asking price excessive, hoping to close a deal at €10m instead. Therefore, the clubs were never likely to reach an agreement. Just as talks linking Calhanoglu to Galatasaray started to fade away, Fenerbahce have entered the frame. Inter Milan Star Hakan Calhanoglu Wants to Join Fenerbahce Fenerbahce president Ali Koc held talks with Calhanoglu to learn his wage demands and Inter's request. Indeed, Jose Mourinho's men are seemingly willing to challenge their arch-rivals for the playmaker's signature. Moreover, they may even beat Galatasaray's offer. 'President, if you accept my salary, I would like to play for Fenerbahce,' Calhanoglu reportedly told Koc. For now, it's uncertain whether Calhanoglu really said those words. However, the player's silence amid wild transfer talks only adds to the speculation surrounding his San Siro fate. Furthermore, Koc's revelation added an unexpected twist to the ongoing saga. As for Inter, they must prepare for every scenario. Therefore, Cristian Chivu's men have already identified several potential candidates to replace the Turk. Atalanta's Ederson has emerged as a dream target, but his price tag is outside Inter's reach.

Bayer Leverkusen's Fernando Carro fires back at Hans-Joachim Watzke: 'I want an exciting Bundesliga. I'm happy when more clubs make life difficult for Bayern'
Speaking to Welt am Sonntag, Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro has fired back at Hans-Joachim Watzke, following quotes he made about Florian Wirtz. Last month, the Dortmund CEO said: 'It's a real shame, especially for the DFL, that a player like Florian Wirtz is leaving the Bundesliga. I wouldn't have had a problem at all if he had gone to FC Bayern. That would have been better for the Bundesliga. It doesn't really matter for the national team. He'll play at the highest level in Liverpool, too. He could have worked better with Musiala in Munich, but two such good footballers can find each other anyway.' During the Wirtz transfer saga, Leverkusen were adamant that they would not sell to Bayern Munich, following Wirtz's completed move to Liverpool. Carro was asked if he was happy that the 22-year-old moved to the Premier League: 'Honestly, yes. I have a different opinion than Hans-Joachim Watzke. I don't understand how he, as the boss of Borussia Dortmund, could have been happy if Wirtz had gone to Munich. That would have made Bayern even stronger. I want an exciting Bundesliga. I'm happy when more clubs – besides us – make life difficult for Bayern, because I believe that benefits the Bundesliga.' As some people may not like Carro for his personality or the way he works, it is refreshing to see someone who is ready and willing to stand up to Bayern and not roll over at the first time of asking, like Dortmund. It can be argued that this type of mentality that Watzke showed in his original comment has been one of the reasons that have held die Schwarzgelben back from winning the Bundesliga in the past 13 years. This is also becoming an increasingly common occurrence in the Bundesliga, as Stuttgart is a prime example, continuing to be firm in their pursuit of the Bundesliga champions' interest in striker Nick Woltemade.
