Rock and roll's number one rule breaker is back in the saddle.
Tom Morello announced he's touring arts centers, theaters, music halls, plaza rock clubs and casinos all over North America this fall as part of his 'Tom Morello & Friends Electric Full Band Show Tour.'
While out and about, the Rage Against The Machine guitarist is slated to headline a trio of New York and New Jersey gigs.
Up first, the 61-year-old NYC native hits Brooklyn's Warsaw on Tuesday, Nov. 18. After that, he and the 'full band' are scheduled to rock New York's Irving Plaza on Wednesday, Nov. 19 and Atlantic City's Borgata Casino Music Box on Friday, Nov. 21.
'Coming at you this fall! The last Big Event before they throw us all in jail!,' the subversive shredder jested in his tour announcement via Instagram.
Prior to the brief U.S. leg of the run, Morello is lending his talents to the annual Rocklahoma Festival (Aug. 30) and then heading North for a Canadian tour he's billed as 'a night of stories and music.'
Over the past few weeks, the anti-establishment Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has played a handful of shows and festival dates in Canada. And, while we don't know what to expect from these upcoming autumnal tours, we found that he delivered 20+ tracks at most of his summer gigs, according to Set List FM. His most recent non-festival concert at the time of publication took place at Toronto's Danforth Hall and was a 21-song affair that included RATM classics along with solo cuts and Nightwatchman favorites as well as surprise covers from artists as varied as Ozzy Osbourne, Woody Guthrie, Audioslave, Bruce Springsteen and John Lennon.
To close out the show, he shared the stage with Rush's Alex Lifeson and delivered a blistering interpretation of the legendary Canadian group's epic 'Limelight' followed by a rendition of MC5's punchy 'Kick Out the Jams.'
'The set unfolded like a revolution-in-progress—carefully crafted, loud as hell, and impossible to ignore,' Soundcheck Entertainment raved about another recent gig of his in Edmonton. '…it was a rallying cry, a family celebration, and a musical gut-punch all rolled into one. From Roman's [Morello's son, who plays in the band] scorching opener to Woody Guthrie's Canadian makeover, from RATM fury to acoustic rebellion, this night had it all.'

Former Food Network Star Recalled Anne Burrell ‘Going Through Some Stuff' as Her Death Is Ruled a Suicide

A little over a month after her unexpected passing, Anne Burrell's death has been ruled a suicide. The New York City medical examiner's office has determined that the 55-year-old Food Network star's cause of death was from 'acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine,' according to People. As Star reported last month, Burrell was 'found next to dozens of pills,' per the New York Post and her husband, Stuart Claxton, found her 'unresponsive' in the shower of their Brooklyn, New York home. Additionally, a rep for the New York City Fire Department told Page Six that the person who called 911 said Burrell went into 'cardiac arrest' and was 'DOA [dead on arrival].' Days after her passing, fellow Food Network star Duff Goldman hinted that the former Worst Cooks in America host had been privately struggling years prior. 'Anne and I became friends in probably 2006,' Goldman wrote in a June 19 Instagram post. 'She was going through some stuff and I had heard that she was feeling it, so on a trip to NYC from Baltimore I had made her a cake that said 'Don't let the bastards win.' She never did.' 'We had a complex relationship, and I remember the last conversation we had before our paths drifted was a pretty feisty debate about the merits of catfish,' he recalled. 'I believe the words 'trash fish,' 'tastes like mud,' and 'cake boy' were used.' 'Anne and I always had a spirited and somewhat acerbic back and forth,' Goldman continued. 'I really never knew why our paths drifted but I always hoped that wherever she was, Anne was doing well and was finding some happiness.' Goldman explained that about two years ago, he attended an event in New York City where he ran into the former Secrets of a Restaurant Chef host. 'Now, at this point we hadn't spoken in years, and I won't go into what we talked about but I will say that that conversation left my heart lifted and full of light, for it truly seemed to me that Anne really had found a measure of happiness and love,' Goldman penned. 'Life is tough, and we have to be tough to get through it.' 'Anne was as tough as they come,' he added, 'but when you got past the armor there was a depth of compassion and kindness that was absolutely beautiful. My heart sings when I think of the love and tranquility that it seems Anne had found recently.' Burrell is survived by her husband and his son, Javier, her mother, Marlene, and sister, Jane.

Kelly Osbourne Mourns Death of Dad Ozzy Osbourne

Originally appeared on E! Online is grieving the loss of her father . Following the Black Sabbath frontman's death on July 22 at age 76, his daughter shared a touching tribute on her Instagram Story July 24 with lyrics to his 1972 song "Changes." "I feel unhappy,' the 40-year-old wrote. 'I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had." Just days before Ozzy's passing, Kelly—who costarred on the MTV reality series The Osbournes with her dad as well as mom Sharon Osbourne, 72, and brother Jack Osbourne, 39, from 2002 to 2005—addressed online speculation that the heavy metal icon's health was deteriorating. 'There's this video going around on social media and it's supposed to be my dad, but it's AI,' she said in a clip posted on her Instagram Stories July 11. 'It has a voice like my dad's David Attenborough or something, and it starts out saying, 'I don't need a doctor to tell me that I'm going to die. I know I'm going to die.'' Kelly went on to condemn the creators of the viral video before plainly stating that her father was 'not dying.' For a look back at Ozzy's life, keep scrolling. More from E! What is wrong with you?' The 'Changes' singer also addressed reports that Ozzy and Sharon—who wed in 1982 and are also parents to Aimee Osbourne, 41—had agreed to a suicide pact, a rumor which stemmed from comments Sharon made to The Mirror in 2017. 'Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact,' she said. 'That was bulls--t my mom said to get attention one time. And my dad's not dying. Stop.' During Ozzy's final Black Sabbath concert earlier this month, he and Kelly shared a special family moment as her partner Sid Wilson—with whom she shares 2-year-old son Sidney—got down on one knee and proposed backstage. But of course, the Grammy winner had to inject some of his signature humor into the heartfelt moment. 'F--k off,' he joked as Sid began to pop the question, 'you're not marrying my daughter.' In his final years, Ozzy faced a number of health complications including a battle with Parkinson's disease, which he shared publicly in 2020. Two years later, he underwent what Sharon described as a "major operation" that was "really going to determine the rest of his life." Following his death, his family said that they were filled with "more sadness than mere words can convey." "He was with his family and surrounded by love," they said in a statement to E! News. "We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
