Pictured: Hilarious meme sensation 'Hide the Pain Harold' poses with F1 drivers and soaks up crowd adoration ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix
Norris survived a last-gasp charge from Oscar Piastri to narrow the gap on his McLaren title rival to just nine points ahead of Formula 1's summer break.
The Brit was unsurprisingly in high spirits as he celebrated his success with champagne on the podium, having delivered a controlled display despite falling to fifth place on the opening lap - a setback which prompted a bold one-stop strategy.
Charles Leclerc began on pole but dropped back behind both McLarens after suffering a chassis problem, which also allowed George Russell to pick him off.
However, the cameras were trained on another famous face earlier in the day. Indeed, as the drivers prepared to take to the grid in Budapest, one famous online sensation - the face of one of the most popular internet memes - made an appearance.
Andras Istvan Arato, more commonly known as the internet meme 'Hide the Pain Harold', took to the track and received adoration from the crowd.
In 2011, a photo of Arato appearing to fake a smile went viral.
The Hungarian electrical engineer has since worked as a model - hence the awkward stock images he posed in - as well as the advertising and photography industries.
Seemingly a local legend, Arato was afforded the opportunity to meet several of the drivers, including Isack Hadjar, Fernando Alonso and Gabriel Bortoleto.
He was also in the paddock for last year's Hungarian Grand Prix and posed with the likes of Norris and Russell, both of whom couldn't help but smile.
Arato had been invited by F1 reporter Sandor Meszaros and was given a guided tour.
'Meszaros Sandor @mesandor is Hungary's most characteristic autosport journalist, he arranged an exclusive tour of the paddock for us in the racing circus that serves as his second home,' Arato captioned his Instagram post.
Speaking after pipping Piastri to the line, Norris admitted he did not expect to win.
'I'm dead. I'm dead. It was tough,' he explained in his post-race interview.
'We weren't really planning on the one-stop but after the first lap it was kind of our only option to get back into things. The final stint with Oscar catching, I was pushing flat out. Rewarding even more because of that. The perfect result.
'I didn't think it would get us the win, I thought it would get us into second.
'I knew if I had clean air and could push I could maybe make things work and that's what we did. It always is a bit of a gamble these kind of things.
'It also requires no mistakes, good laps, good strategy and that's what we had.'

Aston Villa hopeful of completing the signing of Nice forward Evann Guessand - with the Ivory Coast star set to become Unai Emery's first major addition of the window
are working on the signing of Nice forward Evann Guessand and hope to complete a deal this week as they try to add extra competition to their attack. In what would be Villa's first significant move in the market this summer, Guessand would join Unai Emery 's men for about £28m. Villa have been looking for a new forward ever since Jhon Duran departed last January and seem to have settled on Guessand, who has been considered one of the most promising players in French football in recent seasons. He scored 13 goals and had 10 assists in all competitions last season and though he plays mainly through the middle, the 24-year-old can also operate on the flanks. Villa have insisted all summer that Ollie Watkins is not for sale but if they sign Guessand, it will be interesting to see whether clubs who admire Watkins make a serious move for him. Meanwhile, West Ham remain keen to sign Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa with the midfielder currently keeping his options open over his long-term future. Though Ramsey is well-regarded by Villa boss Unai Emery, his status as a homegrown player means an eventual transfer fee represents pure profit in the club accounts – crucial in the current era of Premier League spending rules. Villa have been willing to listen to offers for Ramsey since the transfer window opened and are thought to value him at about £40million.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on brink of Besiktas transfer exit with Leeds among possible destinations for ex-England star
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN looks set to finally get his move away from Besiktas. The former England midfielder has been locked in talks with the Turkish club over becoming a free agent for the last month. 3 3 And finally, it looks as though Oxlade-Chamberlain, 31, who has still been training with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team in Istanbul, could be able to leave in the next few days. He left Liverpool in 2023 and the contract with Besiktas was due to run until 2026. But he has struggled with form and fitness. Oxlade-Chamberlain managed just five goals and one assist in 50 appearances with Besiktas. And the former Arenal and Southampton man is now hoping to get a return to the Premier League. Leeds is one possible destination for the midfielder, who has been blighted by injury over the years. Sources told SunSport Oxlade-Chamberlain fell out of favour in the eyes of former Manchester United hitman and manager Solskjaer ahead of the coming season. The same sources claim Besiktas initially wanted to pay the midfielder's severance package in instalments. 3 Oxlade-Chamberlain, however, refused to accept the proposed terms. That refusal paved the way for a crunch meeting between the Ox and Besikitas chiefs. And it's ultimately resulted in the club deciding to pay his exit fee in full.
