New York restaurateur Keith McNally regrets attacking James Corden, says 'I don't like to be forced to enjoy myself'

Keith McNally, the renowned restaurant owner who's made a name for himself in New York City's culinary scene, is currently promoting his upcoming memoir 'I Regret Almost Everything.' As part of his promotional efforts, McNally did an interview with CBS News, where he spoke about his various life struggles, including a debilitating stroke that struck him in 2016 and left him temporarily paralyzed, as well as permanently affecting his speech. McNally also spoke of his infamous Instagram feud with James Corden, expressing some regret over it, and revealed that he resented New Year's Eve because, as he put it, "I don't like to be forced to enjoy myself." Keith McNally reflects on beef with James Corden Among the things McNally reminisced on was his publicly putting James Corden on blast on Instagram during October 2022, where he accused Corden for misbehaving with his staff after getting a wrong order. Corden was banned from McNally's restaurants for a while as a consequence, but Keith has expressed some level of regret at publicly putting him on blast, stating that he himself had become self-conscious about public humiliation as a result of his stroke, and felt that he'd unwittingly subjected James Corden to something similar. Keith McNally also opened up about an especially dark time in his life when he was struggling to recover from his stroke. Having struggled with the paralysis of his dominant right hand and a persistent speech impediment, McNally eventually attempted suicide two years after his stroke. He was saved by his younger son, George, who woke up earlier than usual and saved his father's life. Keith then revealed that his doctor told him about how children are far more likely to attempt suicide if their parents died by suicide, something that has stuck with him since. Keith McNally comes from humble beginnings Keith McNally hails from a modest, working class background. He was one among four children of Jack, a dockworker, and Joyce, a house and office cleaner. McNally reflected on the difficult upbringing he had due to his working class roots: "I got angry inside at my parents. because we had no books in the house, no pictures on the walls. But they couldn't help it. They were working class who grew up with nothing." Keith McNally's 'I Regret Almost Everything' will be published by Simon and Schuster. Babydoll Archi aka Archita Phukan's big secret OUT: She's neither an adult star nor living in US, but...

Instagram influencer Babydoll Archi has been making headlines for her social media account, which boasts 1.4 million followers. The profile appears to belong to a glamorous woman named Archita Phukan. Her page is filled with reel after reel of her lip-syncing to music while dressed in provocative attire. One post featuring adult star Kendra Lust has gone viral online. However, would you believe that the woman making headlines is neither an influencer nor living in the US? Scroll down to uncover the truth. Who is Babydoll Archi? According to Dibrugarh Police in Assam, the woman seen in the viral videos does not exist. The entire online persona was a digitally fabricated creation, crafted using artificial intelligence tools and altered images. Shockingly, the visuals were generated from just one photograph of a real woman—a resident of Dibrugarh—who was completely unaware that her identity was being misused for online fame and profit. To protect her privacy, her name remains undisclosed, and she had no involvement in any of the content circulated under the alias Archita Phukan. Accused Arrested? On Saturday evening, the Dibrugarh Police apprehended the man behind this false identity. The accused has been identified as Pritam Bora, the former partner of the woman whose photo was used. Police revealed that the man orchestrated the entire plan to intentionally humiliate her after their relationship ended. According to the The Times of India, the senior Superintendent of Police Sizal Agarwal confirmed to the portal that Bora had uploaded manipulated and indecent content falsely linking the woman as an adult star and claiming her that she lived in the United States.

Mohit Suri wanted actress who 'hadn't done anything cosmetically', director talks about casting Aneet Padda for Saiyaara

Saiyaara has been making headlines ever since its release. The film has turned out to be absolutely impressive, and the audience is showering the movie with much love. Starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Big Girls Don't Cry fame Aneet Padda, the romantic drama is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Meanwhile, director Mohit Suri has opened up about why he chose Aneet as the female lead in Saiyaara. He admitted to taking months to find the actress so that he could sign her. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Mohit Suri said that he was looking for someone who hadn't undergone any cosmetic procedures to either their face or body. He remarked, "That was a major requirement. I didn't expect it to be such a big requirement. Not only that, I needed someone who felt real, someone who hadn't done something to themselves. She had done some work before, and she was brilliant at it." Mohit Suri says Aneet Padda was good in the auditions Further, the director mentioned that the young actress is a brilliant actor. Talking about her auditions, Suri added that the Salaam Venky actress appeared to be a perfect fit to play a small-town Punjabi girl from Amritsar. "We often have the wrong idea of what small-town India is like; they're actually more conventionally 'out there' than we are. She had more to share with me than I had with her. She came through a round of auditions, not that the others weren't good, but sometimes, they were too done up," Mohit concluded. Saiyaara box office report and audience reception The big-screen debut movie of Aneet Padda turned out to be a big surprise for the industry. The movie scored over Rs 21.25 crore on its opening day, followed by a surreal Rs 25 crore on Day 2. The two-day cumulative box office collection of Saiyaara is around Rs 45 crore net. The movie is going to be a blockbuster of epic proportions. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
