Former Florida Gator standout Kyle Tucker has been named a starting outfielder for the National League in the 2025 MLB All-Star as game, as announced by the official Chicago Cubs X account on Wednesday night.

Tucker, who was acquired by the Cubs in a blockbuster trade with the Houston Astros in December of 2024, has emerged as one of the best outfielders in baseball.
A rare combination of power and speed, Tucker has amassed 129 home runs, 412 runs batted in, and 100 stolen bases dating back to 2021.
The star outfielder has gotten off to a blazing start in the 2024-25 campaign, batting .290 with 17 home runs and 52 runs batted in 84 games played.
Tucker's .926 OPS ranks sixth in the entire major league, a testament to his ability to hit for power while also prioritizing contact.

For the fifth consecutive time this WNBA regular season, the Indiana Fever will be without Caitlin Clark. The star guard will miss the game with a left groin injury and has been ruled out by the team, ESPN is reporting. The Fever take on the Los Angeles Sparks Saturday night.
