Customers loved the look of the 'beautiful' outfit when it was showcased in a viral social media post
Primark shoppers are raving about a "gorgeous" new outfit from the retailer's Rita Ora collection. The high street fashion giant showcased its new range in a recent social media post, and viewers loved what they saw.
In the TikTok post, Primark highlighted the £12 Rita Ora Beaded Halter Neck Top and the £16 Rita Ora Beaded Midi Skirt, alongside other items, including dresses, skirts, and accessories. The video, which was captioned "70s Summer", gained over 300,000 views and 19,000 likes. It also received comments from excited shoppers, with some singling out the matching beaded outfit.
For instance, one fan said: "The first set is a NEED." Another eager shopper asked: "What's the first brown set called?" Someone else asked: "How much is the brown skirt?" Praising the range, a commenter said: "Gorgeous collection," and a fan replied: "We have to go."
Fans of the £12 top and £16 skirt can buy the items separately or as a set. The top is described as a "beaded halter top with sequins and a sleek, body hugging fit," while the skirt is described as a "brown midi skirt with sequins, beading and embroidered floral details."
The top and skirt are available in sizes XXS to XL. Both items are available for click-and-collect on Primark's website. Shoppers can also use a tool on the retailer's website to check stock availability in their local store.
Primark's product description for the top says: "This halter neck top from the Rita Ora collection brings all the beautiful details. Designed in a warm brown shade, it's covered in intricate beading with floral patterns, sparkly sequin accents and soft wavy stitch detailing throughout.
"The neckline ties at the back for a custom fit, while the V-shaped front adds a touch of shape. Made with a fitted silhouette, it's one of those pieces that can do it all – dress it up, pair it down, layer it or let it shine solo."
Primark's product description for the skirt says: "Bring the sparkle with this Rita Ora Beaded Midi Skirt. Designed in a rich brown, this layer is covered in swirling embroidery, beaded flowers and mini sequins that catch the light as you move.
"The midi length keeps it polished, while the elasticated waistband makes it easy to slip on and go. Pair it with the matching top, some statement earrings and sandals for a summer ensemble that you'll want to wear time and time again."
According to the care instructions, both the top and the skirt are machine washable. However, they cannot be tumble-dried or dry-cleaned. More care instructions are available on Primark's website.
Rita Ora's collection also includes a £25 Rita Ora Asymmetric Midi Dress and £20 Rita Ora Check Tiered Maxi Skirt, which could be ideal for shoppers looking for another style. Both the dress and skirt are "designed in a soft red and white gingham," and could be worn to any of the same events as the matching set.

Then in the evening, he had his arm around her while they watched headliners The 1975, before partying until well after 4am. It came just as his singer ex Kacy Hill made a dig at him on TikTok, to the soundtrack of Lorde's single Man of the Year, which he worked on. She wrote: 'Let's hear it for the man who ended a 6.5 year relationship while making a girl's album then started dating her.' A source said: 'Lorde is really happy with Jim after they bonded making the album. 'But there was no overlap and she was very respectful.' ‘Helen from Wales' hailed ‘hero of free speech' after live stream of Kneecap reaches 2 million
Helen Wilson, a vegan café owner from Swansea and a Glastonbury regular for 25 years, stepped in when the BBC chose not to broadcast controversial Belfast rappers Kneecap's set live on TV. She decided to live stream the performance on TikTok, sharing it directly with her followers. Nearly two million people have interacted with the TikTok live stream of the performance, which the BBC has since released in an edited form on their iPlayer platform. 'I can't really believe the attention this has got, It's been crazy, but it shows that maybe the BBC got it wrong,' she said. "There were an awful lot of people who wanted to see Kneecap on the Glastonbury stage.' 'I have always believed in the right to free speech,' she told the Belfast Telegraph. 'But we're faced with being fed an edited version of events by mainstream media. "When I heard Kneecap were not going to be shown as part of the BBC broadcast I just thought I'd stream it live and see what happened. 'I'd been taking part in a pro-Palestine rally earlier and really wanted to see Kneecap. I've been a big fan for a while and admire their support for free speech and stance against social injustice. 'I was thinking that if the BBC say they won't broadcast their performance then where will this censorship stop? Next year it will be someone else. 'I started the stream live on TikTok and thought maybe a few hundred might watch along. I looked at my phone after a few minutes and there were over 7,000 watching and the number was rising so I just had to keep going.' Chaotic scenes as Kneecap's Liam Og O hAnnaidh arrives at court Helen said she had been working at the festival with a sustainable waste management company, but had arranged some time off to ensure she could catch Kneecap's performance. 'I've been following their story and wanted to show people what the BBC were trying to block out,' she said. At it's peak, over 1.8 million had liked her live stream and it has since been shared across many more platforms, turning her into an overnight celebrity. 'I got a name check on stage from Kneecap which was remarkable,' she said after they band called her 'a legend'. 'At the end my phone was overheating, it was incredibly hot but I wasn't going to let it go. This was to highlight a much wider issue, the genocide in Gaza.' Glastonbury has been contacted for comment. Their website states: 'No live performances may be recorded without the Festival's prior written permission. Where granted, further consent is usually required from the artist and, where applicable, their record label in order to use or disseminate such recorded performances. "Rights, if granted, are typically limited to a specific use and programme, with no archive rights. A copy may be required for the Festival's archive, and location/facility fees may apply.' 'That doesn't worry me,' said Helen. 'Some things are too important not to be heard. 'I don't agree with artists being silenced – when institutions avoid politically outspoken artists it's up to the fans to make sure their voices are still heard.'
