Stefanie Sun performs to 50,000 fans at the Bird's Nest
Performing at the venue for the first time in her 25 years of career, Stefanie is also only the fourth female singer to have ever been granted the chance to hold a solo concert at the iconic location.
The concert also saw the attendance of stars like Michelle Chen, Chen Linong, Zhou Dongyu and many more, with the former writing, "I wanted to cry as soon as you came on stage. After all, you have carried my youth for so many years. Fortunately, there were fast songs, so I only cried for half of the show."
It was understood that the concert was directed by Stefanie's music partner and music director Kenn C, and that the Singaporean singer herself participated in the whole process, from conception and arrangement to stage design.
Stefanie also expressed her thoughts about performing at the iconic venue, writing, "It is hard for me to describe the experience of singing in the Bird's Nest. The sound in the venue was very consistent and surrounded me on the stage like waves. This is the moment when the singer is overwhelmed by the audience."
"People outside the venue listened to the concert comfortably, drinking tea and eating snacks. They sang along warmly, occasionally shouting and humming. Though beyond my line of sight, we were all connected in that moment."
Stefanie said that watching the videos from the concert was like someone was cutting onions next to her.
Her next performance would be in Qingdao.

At the same time, Cabot covered her face and turned her body away from the camera. Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, could sense the trouble in the air, joking, "Oh, what ... either they're having an affair or they're very shy." The awkward moment of Byron and Cabot has since gone viral on social media, prompting their company, Astronomer, to launch an official investigation into their alleged relationship. Cabot also commented on her new position in November, saying, 'I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy." She continued, 'There are plenty of companies out there where a leadership team doesn't recognize the value that a strong people leader and people team can bring to a company. It's not just about benefits or catered lunches. As the audience erupted with laughter after the statement, he added, "Oh sh-t, I hope we didn't do something bad." Martin had previously been seen reacting to the couple being caught on camera in a different clip taken by a Coldplay Fan. It didn't take long for Megan to remove her husband's last name from her social media page, ultimately deleting her account along with all the happy images of her, Byron, and their kids. Unsurprisingly, the entire drama brought a heavy dose of reaction from netizens who slammed the cheating couple online. "Why do people cheat? If you are unhappy in your marriage or relationship, there's the door. Leave it. Don't cheat. Gross and immature behavior," one wrote. "The way they reacted made it so obvious they were having an affair… see how cheaters are not only pieces of sh-t they're also stupid as f-ck," another user said. Morgan Wallen jokes about viral CEO affair controversy during recent performance
Morgan Wallen is getting in on the fun, poking fun at the viral moment from a recent Coldplay concert in which the alleged affair between a CEO and his head of human resources was revealed. During his concert on Friday night at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Ariz., Wallen seemingly referenced the viral video when addressing the crowd ahead of his performance of his song, "I'm A Little Crazy." "Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you're safe here," he can be heard saying in a video posted to TikTok taken by a concertgoer. "I don't condone cheating, anymore." His comments come after a video of CEO of tech firm Astronomer, Andy Byron, appearing on the "Kiss Cam" at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., with his arms allegedly wrapped around the company's HR chief, Kristin Cabot, went viral on social media. When the two appeared on the big screen during "The Jumbotron Song" where Coldplay frontman Chris Martin improvises songs about couples in the audience, the woman immediately covered her face and turned away from the camera, while the man ducked down and exited the frame, prompting Martin to joke "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." "Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you're safe here. I don't condone cheating, anymore." The company put out a statement after the incident Friday, writing on social media, "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability," the company shared. "The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly." In another update on Friday, the company announced Byron had been placed on leave and an interim CEO had been appointed. The company later informed followers on Saturday that Byron resigned from the company. "Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted," the X post read in part. "The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO." Fox News confirmed Cabot and her ex-husband finalized their divorce in 2022, and New Hampshire property records show Kristin and Andrew Cabot purchased a home as a married couple in April 2024. No divorce records were found for Bryon, who appears to still be married. When speaking with The U.S. Sun, Grace Springer, the TikTok user who posted the video of the viral "Kiss Cam" moment, said the moment was a "hot topic" among those at the concert, but that "no one knew who they were" until she posted the video. "I had no idea who the couple was," she said. "Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it. A part of me feels bad for turning these people's lives upside down, but, play stupid games … win stupid prizes." Springer also added that she hopes "their partners can heal from this" and that "for them, my video was a blessing in disguise."
