Guru Purnima 2025: Jupiter in Gemini will bring infinite blessings for these zodiac signs
On July 10, 2025, the Hindu festival of Guru Purnima coincides with Jupiter's presence in Gemini, creating a powerful cosmic condition for spiritual growth, wisdom, and new opportunities. Guru Purnima—dedicated to honouring teachers, mentors, and inner wisdom—is traditionally seen as the ideal time to receive guidance, delve into self-discovery, and focus on our soul's purpose. Meanwhile, Jupiter in Gemini brings its expansive, optimistic energy into the realm of communication, learning, and relationships. The combination of Guru Purnima's spiritual potency and Jupiter's intellectual fire ignites a period of transformation, especially for a few zodiac signs uniquely positioned to receive a flood of blessings from July 10 onward. Pisces Coupled with Guru Purnima, this transit invites you to express your compassion and spiritual gifts through speech or daily routine. You are being asked to articulate what you feel or heal, whether through affirmations, vocal offerings, or written prayers. Even a spiritual offering in your personal or online circle can ripple in meaningful ways. 6. Libra In the context of Guru Purnima, this amplifies creative self-empowerment. You may experience flow moments while sharing content that heals, inspires, or unites people. It's the ideal moment to dance, create art, write poetry, or reinvent romance through truth. If you've been longing to create meaningful dialogue within your romantic relationship or public influence, Jupiter's digital lens in Gemini gifts you the skill. Metro signal installation nears completion, testing begins
1 2 Kanpur: Under the Kanpur Metro Rail Project's Corridor-1 (IIT-K to Naubasta), system installation work is progressing rapidly along with civil construction on the 5-km-long elevated section between Baradevi and Naubasta. This stretch comprises five stations- Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar, and Naubasta- where the installation of signals is now nearly complete. Preparations are in full swing to begin the testing phase of the signalling system in this section. Recently, on May 30, passenger services were extended from Motijheel to Kanpur Central station. Tunnelling work for the two underground stations beyond Kanpur Central- Jhakarkati and Transport Nagar- is currently in its final stages. Following this, the focus has shifted to system installations and finishing works on the Baradevi–Naubasta elevated section. This includes the construction of technical rooms and installation of systems related to track, third rail, telecom, signalling, and electricals. A total of 24 signals are to be installed between Baradevi and Naubasta. All 8 signals at Baradevi station have been installed. The next three stations- Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, and Baudh Nagar- each have 2 signals installed. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Start Here - 2025 Top Trend Local network access control Esseps Learn More Undo At the final station, Naubasta, 7 out of 10 planned signals have been installed. The remaining 3 will be placed after track work is completed. All indoor cabling required for signal functioning at the stations has been completed. Additionally, Train Radio Access Antennas have also been installed at all five stations. These antennas play a crucial role in ensuring safe train operations by enabling wireless communication between the train and the Operations Control Centre. With the completion of signal installation, preparations for testing the signalling system have begun on the Baradevi–Naubasta section. The testing will start with the PICO Test, which involves verifying the wiring connections for any faults. This will be followed by the Partial Acceptance Test (PAT), where individual signalling components like signals and point machines will be operated independently. Finally, the System Acceptance Test will be conducted, during which a train will be run in accordance with the installed signalling system to validate its functionality. Sushil Kumar, managing director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited, stated, "The engineering teams of Kanpur Metro are advancing the civil construction and system installation work on the Baradevi–Naubasta section with complete dedication."

In true Ganga-Jamuni spirit, tazias pay ‘salami' to Lord Krishna in Bhander town
Bhopal: In a rare gesture of 'Ganga-Jamuni' tehzeeb in Bhander town of Datia district of Madhya Pradesh, tazias (Muharram tableaux) by the Muslim community first paid 'salami' to Lord Krishna before moving to Karbala on Sunday. This was not a rare occasion but an age-old ritual followed in the town. The approximately 200-year-old Chaturbhuj Krishna temple was constructed by a Muslim family in Bhander town. Ever since, it has become a tradition for the tazias to stop before the temple for 'salami' to Chaturbhuj Maharaj (Lord Krishna) before moving ahead. Bhander Karbala committee chief Abdul Jabbar told TOI, "This year we had 37 tazias, and on the last day, the route passes first through Chaturbhuj Maharaj temple and then to the Karbala. The tazias first pay 'salami' before moving ahead. The priest of the temple comes out and blesses the tazias." He added, "I am 63 years old and I have seen it since my childhood. The idol at the temple was found centuries ago by a local Muslim family named the Hazari family in Sontalai, a pond situated in the town. The family then built the temple." He continued, "Our elders used to tell us when we were kids that on 'gyaras' when temple idols come out for a holy bath, the idol used to come out only after at least one member of the Hazari family was present. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Start Here - 2025 Top Trend Local network access control Esseps Learn More Undo In their absence, even hundreds of men would not be able to lift or move the idol. Later, close to the country's Independence, only one elderly female member of the Hazari family was alive. She too was bedridden, and on gyaras when people couldn't lift the idol, she was somehow brought to the temple. The folklore says, 'here she prayed and told the idol, Ab uth jaana, koi nahi aa payega humare parivar se' (from now on get lifted, no one from our family will be able to come now). It is said, people were able to move the idol since then." According to the priest at the temple, who has been serving here for generations, the Hazari family not only built the temple but also donated land for it. "The temple has around 5 bighas of land donated by the Muslim family that built it. It's a nearly 200-year-old temple. My maternal grandfather used to be the priest there. After his death, my father became the priest, and after his death, I am the priest," says Ramesh Panda, 67. "The temple was not only built by a Muslim family but guarded by Muslims. I remember decades ago there was communal tension. At that time, police arrived here but local Muslims came forward assuring the administration that they would guard the temple and no police or force was required," he added.
