BTS' V, Jungkook could attend Sojang defamation case hearing: Reports

BTS members V and Jungkook might attend Soojang defamation case. (Credit: Instagram/thv) India Today Entertainment Desk The Seoul court scheduled a mediation settlement session for July 21 Sojang was ordered to pay 76 million KRW in damages for defaming BTS members BTS confirmed their long-awaited reunion during a July 1 Weverse livestream BTS members V and Jungkook's ongoing defamation case against controversial YouTuber Sojang has taken a fresh turn, with the court now urging both parties to consider a possible settlement. According to a July 3 report by Korean media outlet Star Today , the Seoul court has scheduled a court-mediated session between the parties, which may require the K-pop stars to appear in person. The session, set for July 21 at 9:40 AM KST (6:10 AM IST), replaces the previously planned full trial. It aims to facilitate a mutual agreement, following a June 16 decision by a higher court to shift the case towards a settlement format. While it remains unclear whether V and Jungkook will be required to attend, reports suggest their personal presence may be necessary, unlike previous hearings. The settlement session, directed by the court, is designed to help both sides reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Under Article 28 of the South Korean Civil Procedure Act, such a settlement, if agreed upon, would carry the same legal effect as a final court ruling. This development comes months after Sojang, who runs the YouTube channel Taldeok Camp , was found guilty in February 2025 of uploading 23 defamatory videos between October 2021 and June 2023. The Seoul Western District Court's 12th Civil Division ordered her to pay 76 million KRW (approx. Rs 47 lakh) in damages. Of this amount, V was awarded 10 million KRW (approx. Rs 6 lakh), Jungkook received 15 million KRW (approx Rs 9.3 lakh), and BTS' agency BIGHIT MUSIC was granted 51 million KRW (approx Rs 31 lakh). This figure was adjusted from the original 90 million (approx 56 lakh) KRW sought in the January 2025 lawsuit. The legal update comes shortly after BTS confirmed their long-awaited reunion during a Weverse livestream on July 1. As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle , the group's return marks the end of a hiatus lasting over three years, intensifying global excitement over what lies ahead for the band. Arnold Schwarzenegger shares golden bodybuilding advice for a chiselled chest with NBA icon Shaquille 'O'Neal on The Big Podcast With Shaq

Shaquille O'Neal, Image via Getty NBA icon Shaquille O'Neal is a self-proclaimed fan of popular Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger . From praising his bodybuilding techniques to the Terminator star's dedication towards his fitness, the Boston Celtics alum has been one of the biggest fans of Schwarzenegger. During a recent episode of the popular podcast The Big Podcast With Shaq, the NBA star went on to receive some golden advice from Mr. Olympia with respect to bodybuilding. Shaquille O'Neal gets some great tips from Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger on bodybuilding During the recent episode of The Big Podcast With Shaq, the former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal had a conversation with Arnold Schwarzenegger about fitness and bodybuilding. In between the discussion, O'Neal straightaway went on to ask for tips behind maintaining a chiselled chest like Arnold Schwarzenegger from the early 90s. To which the True Lies star replied, 'In order to really get a great chest, there are four exercises that are very important. One of them is the bench press, then the incline press with a barbell, and then flies with dumbbells or with a flying machine. Now they have machines for all of that stuff, so it's with dumbbells or with a flying machine, and then the other one is the pullover. You know, that gives you the rib cage. You know where you go back, and you know, and really stretch your back and stretch your lats, and so that's the combination of those four exercises. Then when you compete in bodybuilding, it gets into more details with cable crosses and doing dips and all of those kinds of things.' Shaq Asks Arnold For Bodybuilding Advice, If He Liked Acting Over Politics & His Netflix Show FUBAR The Fubar star further elaborated, 'I think a basic routine—if you do, like, you know, those four exercises and do three sets each—I think you're going to get a really good, defined kind of pectoral muscle and chest. Then you can rip your shirt off anytime and then go, you know, make the chest go up and down, you know, and that's right exactly, and you know, and have fun with it and have all the people kind of look at it.' While citing his example, Schwarzenegger said, 'It really depends, you know, on how your joints are. Like, for instance, at my age, you know, I'm almost 78 now. I feel that it is better for me to train lighter and just to do more reps because every time I try to train heavier, then all of a sudden my shoulder hurts, or my elbow hurts, or something hurts.' Shaquille O'Neal has expressed admiration for Arnold Schwarzenegger's legendary physique and the way he built a diverse career beyond bodybuilding. He's noted his respect for Schwarzenegger's seamless move into acting, business, and politics, viewing it as an inspiring example for his own goals.
