Thailand's rosy-cheeked and chubby celebrity hippopotamus is turning one year old today – and the zoo is going all out for her first year.
Pygmy hippo Moo-Deng, a name which translates to 'bouncy pork', was dubbed an 'icon' and 'legend' by Time Magazine by the time she was two months old, and has amassed millions of followers.
She lives in Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, Thailand, and gained fame for her sassy antics, including biting her keepers and making unforgettable faces.
Thousands of people are now coming to the zoo for a four-day festival to celebrate the little hippo's big day.
Activities at the festival include a lecture on 'Moo Deng's cheekiness', and skincare tips (Miss Moo sparked a beauty craze last year thanks to her glow).
There's also an auction for some of her belongings – whatever those might be – and a massive £3,300 fruit cake will be presented to her as a gift.
One of Moo Deng's keepers, Attaphol Nundee, said: 'Moo Deng used to be very naughty and jumped around all the time. Now she only eats and sleeps.'
Though the internet icon's popularity has slowed a bit as she grew, she still has a devoted fan base and her own line of merchandise.
But her popularity has helped raise awareness of her species, which is listed as endangered. Estimates from the Pygmy Hippo Foundation suggest there are currently no more than 2,000 living in the wild.
Attaphon added: 'I hope that the cuteness of Moo-Deng will raise awareness for people to come and learn about the species.'
The adorable hippo has siblings also named after pork – Moo Wan, which means Thai sweet pork; Pha Lor, which means pork belly stew; and Moo Tun, which means stewed pork.
If you're unable to celebrate Moo Deng's first birthday with her in Thailand, you can find a pygmy hippo closer to home.
Edinburgh Zoo hippos Gloria and Otto welcomed wee Haggis last October, with staff saying she would be a little 'ambassador' for her species.
Haggis has a bit of a personality as well – her keepers previously told Metro she was feisty and fun. More Trending
Metro spoke to Penny Jack, a hoofstock keeper who works with Haggis, about how the zoo will celebrate the baby hippo's first Christmas.
Hoofstock workers help with animals including giraffes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, antelopes and other hoofed species.
Jack said: 'She's definitely feisty enough – she takes after her mum – but Otto is a chill dad. He usually lies down and keeps himself comfy.
'The girls will join him if they're in the mood to, otherwise Gloria tells him that she needs space so he'll leave her and the baby to it.'

I Know What You Did Last Summer star says 90s horror reboot isn't 'gory enough'

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video When the first trailer for the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot dropped, horror fans were thrilled by tiny glimpses at the 'brutal' death scenes – but one of the stars has revealed she wanted even more destruction. After what feels like years of waiting, the slasher sequel will be released in cinemas on July 18, following a vengeful hook-wielding killer hunting a new group of Southport locals. Madelyn Cline and Chase Sui Wonders lead the way in the revival, alongside Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers and Sarah Pidgeon – while OG icons Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr reprise their roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson respectively. Following director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's promise that the horror aspect would be 'ratcheted up to 100', movie lovers were sent into a spin when a teaser showed one character being stabbed with a harpoon. However, speaking to Metro ahead of the premiere, Madelyn Cline – who plays Danica – told us that the shoot wasn't quite as gruesome as she was hoping for. When asked if she jumped straight into the stunts, gore and blood, or if anything went wrong at any point, she laughed: 'I think, to me, it was not gore-heavy enough … We wanted to go all gas, no breaks. 'Everything went really smoothly. We had at least a month of prep with stunts and lots and lots of tests to make sure because Jen is very meticulous. 'That's why I think she is the person to tell this story, because she's very specific. She's very meticulous, and she cares deeply about the way everything turns out. 'Everything was great.' To be fair, the trailer showed Danica enjoying a relaxing bath while her co-star was being attacked by the harpoon so she may have missed that particular moment… In the upcoming flick, a group of friends accidentally cause a deadly car accident before covering up their involvement and making a pact to keep it a secret – something that locals in Southport know a lot about… Unfortunately for the gang, their past comes back to haunt them, and they find themselves stalked by a mysterious killer hell-bent on revenge exactly a year after the fateful incident. The original I Know What You Did Last Summer was released in 1997 and became an instant hit, with Julie and Ray jetting out to the Bahamas for the sequel the following year. With the success of the franchise so far, Madelyn conceded that the cast felt 'pressure' to do the original movies justice, while giving everything a 'modern' twist. 'Well, yes, of course! I think we knew going into it, it was going to be its own,' she continued. More Trending 'It's not a standalone, but definitely the goal was to compliment the original and bring back what made the original so good as much as we possibly could. 'But also reintroduce new elements, and give a modern twist, and hopefully bring back everything that people loved, and also give them something to look forward to.' What are you waiting for…? Paddy Kirk's (Dominic Brunt) brush with death has left him with a life-changing fear that could leave his career in tatters in Emmerdale. While passing Celia's (Jaye Griffiths) farm, Paddy saw a stricken sheep, and in his quest to rescue it, was mauled by Celia's dog. It's a difficult fear for a vet to manage, as Paddy is about to find out. After a run-in with a barking dog left him a quivering wreck, Rhona (Zoe Henry) told him to take some time off. But he refused, berating himself for not being 'man enough' to handle the situation. But this was really Paddy ignoring the first sign that everything is not ok. The next sign is that he lies to Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) about how he's really feeling, putting on a brave face to mask the untold terror when he learns he'll have to manage the vets alone for the day. Coronation Street favourite fights for life in surgery

The Coronation Street feud between DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and his childhood friend Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) culminated in violence and horror when an enraged Mick ended up killing PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) – who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the feud isn't over, and soon Mick sees a chance to get revenge on the police officer. The seeds of Mick's hatred for Kit were seen in a flashback episode that went back to their youth when Kit let Mick take the blame for a crime he'd committed. While he was in prison, Kit and Mick's then-girlfriend Lou (Farrel Hegarty) had an affair. Mick's discovery of this, and the fact that his son Brody (Ryan Mulvey) is actually the biological son of Kit, led him to his murderous rampage which culminated in him beating Craig to death with a baseball bat. Mick was arrested in the aftermath of this, but in episodes to be aired soon he'll escape from prison and head back to Weatherfield. His motive isn't revenge, but to gather his family members together and go on the run with them. Mick can't cope with the knowledge that his family is falling apart since his arrest. With Lou also getting into trouble with the police, it's looking like their daughters will end up in the care of social services. Feeling he has to do something, Mick organises for Brody to round up his sisters. Mick is going to escape from prison and will meet them and Lou, and the family will go on the run. Obviously this is a risky scheme, but he's a desperate man and somehow manages to get out of prison custody and head back to Weatherfield. Brody tells him that Joanie (Savanna Pennington) is at Weatherfield High having a taster day for her new school, so Mick heads there only to find that he's missed her as Sally (Sally Dynevor) has taken her home. Pausing only to generally terrify some children and lock Daniel Osbourne (Rob mallard) and Mrs Crawshaw (Carla Mendonça) in an office, an increasingly angry Mick heads to the Street. The police have by now been made aware that he's on the run, and Kit guesses he'll be heading back for his kids. He soon tracks Mick down and follows him. More Trending Dramatic scenes ensue when they get back to Coronation Street. Mick is obviously enraged that his nemesis Kit is once again standing in his way, and the confrontation that follows sees Kit grievously wounded. Kit is taken to hospital, where a worried Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) sit by his bedside, desperately hoping he'll pull through as they're told he needs surgery to save his life. Will Kit survive his ordeal? And, with nobody having heard from Brody since the previous day, has Mick managed to flee from Weatherfield with his family?
