He's a 7-footer who averaged 12.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 61 percent from the field with the Nittany Lions.
Now, he can learn from Ivica Zubac and Brook Lopez with the Clippers.
Their five-letter last names don't even add up close to Konan-Niederhauser, so he'll have to figure out how to carry that many letters on his back by himself.

Prince William and Princess Charlotte pose for cute photo at Euro 2025 final

Prince William and Princess Charlotte are ready for some soccer. The Prince of Wales, 43, and his 10-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte stepped out on Sunday, July 27, in Switzerland to attend the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 final between England and Spain. Charlotte, who wore a blue dress with white polka dots for the occasion, posed for photos with her dad at the event, as seen in a picture shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account. Ahead of the match, William wished the England women's national soccer team good luck in an Instagram story. "The nation is so proud you are through to the final after some stunning comebacks!" he wrote. "We are all cheering you on!" William checked in with another message halfway through the match, writing, "May the best team win." Princess Charlotte looks just like Prince William in birthday photo taken by Princess Kate The public outing comes after William, Charlotte, Princess Kate and Prince George all stepped out on July 13 to attend the Wimbledon Championships' singles final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Charlotte was wearing a ruffled white dress for that game. The royal family recently celebrated Prince George's 12th birthday on Tuesday, July 22. In a photo shared on Instagram, George was seen wearing a blue and white button-down shirt and zip-up vest, and a video showed him posing for pictures with his siblings Charlotte and Prince Louis, 7. Though she announced in January that her cancer is in remission, she was unexpectedly absent from a scheduled public appearance at Royal Ascot in June. Earlier this month, while visiting Colchester Hospital in Essex, Kate discussed how the next phase of recovery after treatment can be challenging. "You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment," she said. "Treatment's done, then it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal,' but actually the phase afterwards is really, really difficult." Penalty shootout joy for England fans as Lionesses retain Euros title

Ecstatic England fans celebrated across the country as the Lionesses retained their Euros title in a penalty shootout win over Spain. Chloe Kelly scored the winning spot-kick on Sunday following two huge saves from goalkeeper Hannah Hampton – sending supporters in fan zones into raptures. Supporters stood on tables, waved flags, threw drinks in the air and excitedly hugged each other as England claimed victory, while the Prince of Wales and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer watched on from the stands in Basel, Switzerland. Alessia Russo gave the Lionesses hope of retaining their Euros title with her second half equaliser after Mariona Caldentey netted the opener for Spain in the 25th minute. A few Notre Dame women's basketball notes on Jayda Porter and Giovanna Burress

While Notre Dame's women's basketball might be going through a transitional season even with FIBA Gold medalist Hanna Hidalgo leading the charge, there is still plenty of draw to South Bend with recruits. The Irish are off to a great start in the 2026 class, and while they just have one commitment, it's a significant one. Georgia small forward Bella Ragone decided to commit to Notre Dame at the end of May, as she's the No. 23 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Niele Ivey is looking to add another top prospect to join Ragone in power forward Jayda Porter. The 6-foot, 3-inch Missouri native is just behind her in the rankings, as the No. 31 overall player in the cycle and this weekend decided to schedule her official visit to South Bend for Sep. 13th. Porter also announced visits to Oklahoma, Nebraska and Wisconsin. She's the brother of NBA player Michael Porter Jr., and daughter to Michael Sr. who is currently the head coach at Missouri. Looking further ahead, the Irish extended an offer to 2028 New Jersey guard Giovanna Burress on Saturday. The sister of wide receiver Elijah and daughter of Plaxico, could eventually join her brother on campus as Notre Dame has offered extremely early. Giovanna is looking like a national prospect, so this could be the start of a long relationship. While the Irish are early, they are not the only big schools to offer as Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan State and others have already done so. It very much looks like Ivey is taking a page out of Marcus Freeman's recruiting playbook, offering players that have elite athletic lineages. Hopefully this strategy works as well for the women's basketball team as it has for the football team.
