Gogglebox star Amy Tapper reveals she has dropped THREE dress sizes following 6st weight loss as she shares comparison snap in same dress a year apart at family wedding
And now the Gogglebox star has revealed she has dropped three dress sizes in a year as she shared a comparison snap in the same dress.
While Amy, 25, opted for a blue summer dress for the weekend's celebration, she took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday with her wearing the same dress in green last year.
She penned: 'What a difference a year can make! Same dress, different print and 3 sizes smaller'.
Amy previously revealed in April she'd dropped an impressive 6 stone, and she proudly showed off the results of her hard work on Sunday.
Sharing a selection of stunning snaps she penned: 'The best day for the best people. My best friends and cousins, I couldn't love you more❤️
'It was an honour to be a witness and officially sign of your marriage @benmyers96 @carlamyersxx'.
The TV icon has been keeping her followers up-to-date with her fitness journey, proudly sharing her milestones along the way.
In April, she shared a clip of her becoming visibly emotional as she weighed herself and realised she'd shed 6st, before cheering and jumping up and down in celebration with her personal trainer.
Struggling to contain her joy, Amy captioned the clip: 'Wow wow wow 6 stone down!! I cannot believe it - I am so proud of myself…
'I promise I will share more of my journey soon there's just so much to say I'm figuring out my best way to do it. Here's to the next stone and more❤️.
'You are not only my personal trainer but truly a friend and more like a therapist - I couldn't do any of this without you and your ongoing support, thank you for everything❤️.'
Amy - who shot to fame alongside her family on Gogglebox in 2013, before quitting the Channel 4 show in 2018 - has been documenting her progress on Instagram.
She often posts videos of herself working out with weights, boxing and going to the gym so her followers can keep up to date with her weight loss journey.
In a mirror selfie in February, she showed how far she'd come, as she donned a jumper that she'd previously worn in 2022, showing how it was now baggy on her slimmer frame.
The reality star admitted that she was 'proud of herself' as she'd never believed she'd be able to achieve her goal.
She wrote: 'Officially 5 stone down and I couldn't be happier. Never thought I'd be able to reach this milestone so I think I can say I'm proud of myself.
'Thank you for being by my side throughout it all @tashelite.fitness (swipe for our reaction today)'.
The inspiring snaps come after Amy embarked on a challenge to shed 3.5 stone, and 'kick-started her year' by losing 33cm from her waist in five weeks at the start of 2022.
In November that year, she admitted years of trolling during her five years on Gogglebox had led to her trying an endless cycle of unhealthy fad diets.
The quick fixes meant Amy never managed to maintain her weight loss, and she explained it was only since she made a 'positive lifestyle change' that her health journey has really taken off.
She has revealed how she recognised from a young age she had a bigger build in comparison to the rest of her peers, and despite never being bullied, she was always aware of her size.
She was just 13 when she joined her mother Nikki, 51, father Jonathan 56, and brother Josh, 26, on Gogglebox.
The show instantly propelled her into the public eye and the scrutiny of cruel social media trolls.
Amy admitted she would often type her name into Twitter as new episodes of Gogglebox aired, only to see trolls making negative comments about her weight.
In a mirror selfie in February, she showed how far she'd come, as she donned a jumper that she'd previously worn in 2022, showing how it was now far too big (pictured left in 2022)
'My dad and I would both get nasty comments about our weight and I'd also get people criticising my voice for being too loud,' she explained.
'It was quite upsetting. There were people on Twitter calling us 'the fat family from Gogglebox' but my mum and my brother have never had any problems with their weight.'
However, she added: 'Everyone seems to be interested in my weight loss and ask questions about it.
'Most of the time they mean well but there can be nasty comments as well. Luckily I have some amazing supportive people around me so I have been able to deal with it.
'More recently it has come full circle with people on my social media sharing in my weightloss journey and sharing their goals and progress too. It's an amazing feeling when they thank me for being their inspiration.'

Mums need to stop wearing leggings, there is nothing sexy about them and they are ruining your confidence, stylist says
IT'S an outfit donned by mums worldwide on a daily basis. But according to one stylist, there's "nothing sexy" about leggings and a jumper - and "nothing about the look that makes you feel good about yourself" either. 4 4 4 4 Clodagh is a personal stylist, who helps "empower" women through their wardrobe choices, and documents the journey in videos on her YouTube and TikTok pages. In a recent episode of The Clo's Show, she met up with mum-of-three Lesley, to help her get out of her style rut, and express herself with her outfits. "I'm a stylist and I work with women every single day that suffer with their style confidence because they have been wearing this uniform of leggings," she began. "Are you over 40, feeling meh and still stuck in leggings?" Clo wrote over the top of a TikTok clip of the installment. "Watch Lesley ditch her leggings and get her confidence back!" Lesley admitted she was "so stuck in the mindset of the leggings" that she just stuck them on in the morning before the school run. But when Clo started to show her some other wardrobe options, she began to realise that she would be a lot more confident wearing something else. And as an added bonus, Lesley already had all the clothes she needed in her wardrobe. In the first outfit, she wore a pair of wide-legged black trousers and white slogan T-shirt, as she said: "I feel great. I feel very comfortable. "It's actually nice to be out of the leggings!" "So what would stop you in the morning from not wearing this to drop the kids off or go to work in?" Clo asked Lesley. "Look how happy Lesley was by just getting out of those leggings and putting on a plain pair of black wide leg pants that she bought in Tesco," she added. "Look at the difference they make for her confidence!" "The beauty of this is not only did Lesley not spend a penny, but her confidence has been elevated through the roof and she now understands how easy it is to put fab outfits together and how easy it is to mix and match her stuff," Clo added in the description for the YouTube video. People were quick to comment on the video, with many agreeing with Clo's fashion analysis. "I refuse to have leggings, tracksuits, baggy tops in my wardrobe," one wrote.
