Astro to host full-group concert: report
The live show will be the fourth stand-alone gig for the band that celebrated its ninth debut anniversary with the digital single 'Twilight' in February. The special track topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in three regions, as well as Melon's Hot 100 at home.
The band is also set to drop a digital single this month to commemorate bandmate Moonbin, who passed away two years ago, with his sister Moon Sua of Billlie and close friends Seungkwan and DK of Seventeen.
Separately, Cha Eunwoo recently accepted a role in the upcoming film 'First Ride.' It will mark his silver screen debut as a lead actor. He is currently shooting the Netflix drama 'The Wonder Fools.'

Onew to hit the road as a solo musician
Onew of Shinee is set to launch an international tour as a soloist, his agency Griffin Entertainment said Thursday. The singer gazed down serenely in the poster, part of which was pixelized to highlight the beauty of making up for whatever the other lacks. He has hinted at the tour 'Onew The Live: Percent (%)' saying that he will hold concerts in Seoul and Tokyo in August and October, respectively. The poster listed 14 more stops around the world — three more in Asia, three in Latin America and eight in Europe. The tour is named after his second solo full album that will be released on July 15, about half a year since his fourth EP, 'Connection,' which topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 17 regions.

Jennie's 'Ruby' makes Billboard's mid-year best albums list
The first solo studio album from Blackpink's Jennie was included on 'The 50 Best Albums of 2025 So Far' list by Billboard magazine. The LP 'Ruby' is the only album from a K-pop artist on the list published Tuesday in the US. 'She delivers a striking first project that radiates confidence, elegance, and empowerment,' wrote the magazine, and the album 'effortlessly blends empowerment through femininity with her newfound creative freedom, showcasing her full control over both the sound and visual direction of her work.' The album also made the mid-year list of Rolling Stone magazine, published earlier in June, as the sole K-pop entry. The 15-track LP ranked No. 2 on the Billboard 200 while five songs made its Hot 100 chart. Three of them sat on the chart in the same week, earning her a record for a K-pop female solo artist.
