's film 'Saiyaara' has got the audience in a trans. The fever of this musical drama directed by
Mohit Suri
has spared none. Its impact can be measured from the box office numbers or the audience reaction videos that are going viral on the internet.
From people bursting into tears, screaming, remembering their long-lost love, to a man watching the movie with an IV drip attached to his hand, the audience reaction videos are all over social media.
While some are calling them euphoric, some cringe, music composer Tanishk Bagchi has come in defence of the audience's extreme reaction.
'I also cried,' says Tanishk Bagchi
'When I watched the film, I also cried,' said Tanishk Bagchi during his interaction with News18.
The composer who worked on the title track of the movie added that he had also watched emotional films, including Hollywood's sentimental dramas, but it is the music of this movie that steals the show. 'The music in this film haunts you. It gives you the feeling that you've lost someone, that you aren't able to find the one ya phir koi juda hua hai par phir bhi aapke paas nahi hai.
Saiyaara ka jo title track hai woh ek adbhut sa feeling deta hai," he mentioned.

He added that a couple of scenes truly resonate with people. Depending on your emotional strength, you will either burst into tears or shed a single drop, but you will get sentimental; that is a given.
Mohit Suri's brief to Tanishk Bagchi for 'Saiyaara' title track
Though the entire soundtrack of the movie has impressed the audience, the title song has struck all he right chords. Tanishk revealed what the director had in mind when he spoke about the 'Saiyaara' title track. 'Mohit sir had told me that he wants to evoke a very specific feeling through this song.
It should take people back to that one moment in their lives. It should remind them of their first love, just like how when you smell a flower, it reminds you of a perfume that someone special would wear.
He told me that it should evoke a kind of nostalgia.'
The music composer added that there is no technique to introduce such a feeling into a song. 'It only happens if you've lived a special moment. All of us have lived our pasts, which got reflected into the song, and that's why it connected with the audience," confessed the artist.

Prince Harry is seeking British education for kids Archie and Lilibet; The Sussexes to move back to UK soon?
Talk about arriving at a full circle moment! Well, almost! Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is reportedly 'quite keen' on the idea of his children, Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (4), experiencing part of their education in the United Kingdom and growing up with British education imbued in them. Though the Sussex family—Harry, along with Meghan Markle and their two kids—continues to reside in Montecito, California, since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 (Re: the Megxit), educational considerations for the kids and recent reconciliation talks (since King Charles' cancer diagnosis) with Buckingham Palace have brought back the speculation about whether Archie and Lili might attend British schooling in the future. So, here's the big question: Are the Sussexes going to return to the UK soon? The rumored yearning Grant Harrold, former personal butler to King Charles III, recently indicated that Harry is keen for Archie and Lilibet to follow in his footsteps by receiving at least part of their education in the UK. Harrold told Study Dog that while both children are enrolled in American schools, Harry is open to them experiencing British education later on. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Use an AI Writing Tool That Actually Understands Your Voice Grammarly Install Now Undo 'It's very likely and completely possible,' he stated. However, he noted that much hinges on the Sussexes' future relationship with the royal family. The real ground All that yearning is only good for daydreaming, at least for now. Despite speculation, sources close to the Sussex camp say they have no intention of moving back to the UK anytime soon. According to PEOPLE, after a July meeting between Meghan and Harry's aides and the Palace communications team, the couple reiterated they're happy with their California life and have no current plans to relocate. Apparently, the meeting was framed more as an olive branch than a path toward reverse migration. Besides, the chronic shadow of security (lack of it) and scrutiny (too much of it) always looms. A major barrier remains the family's diminished security in the UK. Harry lost his appeal this year to reinstate taxpayer-funded protection and has repeatedly voiced fears for his family's safety, citing parallels to his mother's tragic, fatal paparazzi pursuit. 'I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK,' he told the BBC in May, adding that without reliable protection, he would not return. A royal reconciliation on the cards? Despite the pressing concern over security and the evidently strained relationships due to a number of rifts, all hope is not lost. In fact, recent reports confirm 'peace talks' in London between representatives from both camps, which seems like a faint hope on the horizon. However, whether or not 'improved ties' could eventually enable Archie and Lilibet to enroll in UK schools—even briefly—without requiring a permanent family move, remains to be seen. But what if…? What if British education really does get chalked out for Archie and Lilibet? Surely, we haven't forgotten the scenes from The Crown, where schooling quite literally looked like struggling? If we go by the pattern, if British schooling happens, it's likely to take the form of a boarding school in their teen years or a university education later. It is no secret that even now, traditional boarding routes remain popular among royals, though not as dominant as before. In fact, Harry attended Ludgrove and Eton, while his father and brother followed traditional university or military paths. Meanwhile, Meghan, for her part, has previously expressed concern over UK school hostage-style drop-offs due to media presence, and the general 'vibe' around the strict and disciplinary British schooling experience, instead of a more relaxed and flexible one in the United States of America. Although the stringent routine has become way more relaxed now, even amongst the royals. To speak for it, Prince William's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are attending UK day schools like Lambrook. However, Prince George, the heir in line for the throne, is expected to join Eton next year, signaling evolving royal norms in education. For now, Archie and Lilibet attend local schools near their Montecito home. Meghan has often described building a more traditional, community‑centred upbringing, complete with school playdates, obstacle‑course winter camps, and sunny beach days intact from the glaring paparazzi intrusion. Harry and Meghan are reportedly 'very happy' raising their two children in sunny California, where they emphasize privacy and normalcy. Sussexes To Return As Working Royals? Telugu Film Workers Demand 30% Pay Hike, Strike Threatens To Stall Big-Budget Productions
Last Updated: The Telugu Film Employees Federation announced an indefinite strike from Monday, demanding a 30% wage hike, affecting over 10,000 workers and risking big-budget film production. The Telugu film industry is bracing for a major halt in production activities as the Telugu Film Employees Federation announced an indefinite strike starting Monday. The move comes after prolonged negotiations with producers failed to yield an agreement on wage revisions, placing big-budget films and web series currently in production at risk of a complete standstill. At the heart of the standoff is the federation's demand for a 30 per cent hike in daily wages. Representing 24 categories of film workers, the federation has pointed to stagnant pay scales over the past three years as a major concern, stating it has severely impacted the livelihoods of more than 10,000 daily wage workers. A former general secretary of the federation noted that daily wages have remained unchanged despite the rising cost of living in Hyderabad. Additionally, workers have demanded more timely disbursal of wages, calling for a shift from delayed payments to daily settlements. 'Our workers will not report to duty from tomorrow," a federation representative confirmed, asserting that the decision followed exhaustive efforts to resolve the issue through dialogue. The strike decision was formalised during a meeting of the federation's executive committee held on Sunday. The federation has taken a firm stance, announcing that film shoots will only resume if producers provide written assurances agreeing to the revised pay structure. Talks between the Telugu Film Producers Council, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, and the federation have reportedly been ongoing for several months. Producers had earlier proposed a 5 per cent wage increase, which the federation rejected as inadequate. Producer C Kalyan, while opposing the strike, acknowledged its potential impact. He described the strike as a 'pressure tactic" but added, 'A month-long production halt could hurt the very daily wage workers they're trying to support." He urged both sides to return to negotiations and find a middle ground. The outcome of the strike remains uncertain. That being said, the Telugu film industry could be heading into a period of prolonged disruption unless a resolution is reached soon. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
