Exclusive: Siddhant Issar cancels his honeymoon in Turkey; says ‘We are having a mini honeymoon in Goa and later plan for Greece'
'We had actually planned a trip to Kashmir on April 23 and then return for our reception in Mumbai on May 2. In May, we were supposed to go to Turkey. Call it being lucky—Kashmir was immediately off the charts and even Turkey is off the charts now,' he shared with Times of India TV.
Despite the changes, Siddhant and his wife Surbhi are making the most of their time together. 'I have a house in Goa, a family home we've had for 15 years.
So, Surbhi and I came here for a mini honeymoon. Our real honeymoon is still on the plate. We've been here for 15 days and we plan to go back to Mumbai for my birthday on May 19 and celebrate with family,' he said.
Describing the time spent in Goa, Siddhant added, 'I have this house for 15 years and almost like a local. So I know a lot of secret locations, so we got to spend a lot of private time with no one around. We even spent a full moon night stargazing in an abandoned area.
It was beautiful, private, and dreamy.'
The actor, who met Surbhi on the sets of
Shaitani Rasmein
, expressed admiration for his wife. 'I loved her as an artist. She's a trained classical dancer and approaches her work holistically — I love that about her.'
While Turkey is off the list due to geopolitical concerns, the couple now hopes to plan a honeymoon in Greece.
On the professional front, Siddhant revealed, 'I'm in talks for some television shows with two leading channels and a regional film. Let's see how things work out.'

Amar Upadhyay , who made a comeback to television with the second season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, recalled at the time when his iconic character Mihir Virani was killed off in the first season. Speaking exclusively to Times of India TV, Amar shared that fans were deeply affected, many would hug him, break down in tears, and plead with him to return to the show. Amar shared, "I always wanted to experience love of the audience and stardom and after playing Mihir, it happened to me. When I used to go at public places after Mihir's death in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, people would mob me. Bahot bhayankar response hota tha logon ka. Log rote the gale milte the zabardasti peeche pad jaate the, tumko wapas aana chahiye, tumhe kyun maar diya? Ye theek nahi kiya in logon ne, ye acche log nahi hai, bahot kuch bolte the.
