The Princess of Wales shares birthday photo of grown-up Prince George – and he looks just like his dad
Happy birthday Prince George! The young prince celebrates his 12th birthday today (Tuesday 22 July) and his parents, The Prince and Princess of Wales, have shared a grown-up photograph of him to mark the occasion – and we couldn't help but notice the resemblance to his dad. On their official social media accounts, Prince William and Kate posted a portrait of a smiling Prince George leaning over a gate post. In the photo, Prince George looks remarkably like his dad, Prince William, did at a similar age. In a caption, Prince George's parents wrote 'Happy 12th Birthday to Prince George!' with a birthday cake emoji. Just last week, Prince George joined The Prince and Princess of Wales and his sister, Princess Charlotte, for a day out at Wimbledon. While Prince Louis wasn't attending on the day, the family had a front-row view of the tennis, and Prince George mirrored his dad's navy suit for the occasion. Both wore navy suit jackets along with a shirt and tie for the semi-formal occasion, watching the Men's Singles Final of The Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Day 14 of the event. Prince George's mum, Kate, presented the trophies at the end of the match, as she had the day before at the Women's Singles Final on Day 13. The Princess of Wales was also in blue on the day, wearing a V-neck Self Portrait midi dress. New Prince George photo released to mark his 12th birthday
A new photo of Prince George has been released by Kensington Palace to mark the young royal's 12th birthday. In his final birthday before hitting his teens, George – who is second in line to the British throne – can be seen looking happy and relaxed in the new image published on the palace's official social media channels Tuesday. George can seen posing by a wooden gate in a rural-looking setting, wearing a white checkered shirt and a brown fleece gilet, with a friendship bracelet around his left wrist. 'Happy 12th birthday to Prince George!' reads the caption on X, followed by an emoji of a birthday cake. It comes just over a week after the prince and his 10-year-old sister Princess Charlotte, who is third in line to the throne, made an appearance at the men's finals at Wimbledon, accompanied by their parents. Their younger brother, Prince Louis, was not around to watch Italian Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz of Spain from the Royal Box at the world-famous tennis ground in south London. It has become a tradition for the Prince and Princess of Wales to mark their children's birthdays by sharing a new image. Many of the past portraits have been taken by Kate, who is an enthusiastic amateur photographer, but this shot is credited to British photographer Josh Shinner, who also took the birthday shot of George's younger brother, Louis, which was released for his 7th birthday back in April. Other professional photographers whose images of the family have previously been released include Mario Testino, Chris Jackson and Millie Pilkington. CNN's Jack Guy contributed to this report.

Kate Middleton's Assistant Unfollows Meghan Markle, Fan Pages
Kate Middleton's ex-personal assistant and stylist, Natasha Archer, has made her Instagram public just weeks after quitting her job. Annnnd it took about five seconds for everyone to notice that she'd been following both Meghan Markle and her brand As Ever. But in an awkward update, People reports that she has since unfollowed both accounts. On top of that, Natasha appears to have unfollowed Meghan's close friends Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier, and Heather Dorak (who she'd been following while her account was private), as well as pages dedicated to both Kate and Meghan's personal style. Awkward. Meanwhile, she's still following the official accounts of Prince William and Kate Middleton, King Charles and Queen Camilla, and Princess Eugenie. As of now, Natasha has no public posts on her page: Quick reminder that Natasha quit her job with Will and Kate after 15 years to start her own "private consultancy." She left the position earlier this month, and the Prince and Princess of Wales wished her the "very best." Her departure came just one year after she was promoted to "senior private executive assistant to Kate and William," which the Daily Mail said was "interpreted in Royal circles as a reward for her loyalty." "Natasha deserves this boost–she's unfailingly discreet and loyal to Kate," an insider told the outlet. "The salary boost will be welcome too. This appointment means we can expect to see Natasha by Kate's side for years to come. It seems to be Kate's way of thanking her for her loyalty."
