Gi-Hun, however, seems far from broken. Still haunted by the deaths of Jung-Bae and his comrades, he's back with a mission to dismantle the system once and for all.
Among the familiar faces making a return are Myung-Gi, who had initially resisted joining the rebellion; Yong-Sik and Geum-Ja, a mother-son duo now on opposing teams; and Jun-Hee, whose tearful appearance suggests loss is imminent. Hyun-Ju, once a leader of the coup, is also seen, still looking for Dae-Ho, who remains alive after retreating out of fear.
