Popular streamer Duke Dennis arrested as fellow AMP member Kai Cenat looks on
Dennis, 31, was arrested Saturday, Aug. 2, county jail records show, and charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest. The popular content creator was released from custody late in the evening on Aug. 3 after meeting a cash bond of $1,000 per charge.
USA TODAY has reached out to the San Antonio police department for additional information.
Dennis, who has racked up millions of followers on YouTube and Twitch, is a member of the content group AMP, which also includes popular streamer Kai Cenat. AMP, short for Any Means Possible, is a collective of streamers, each with their own loyal fan base, who pool their audiences to create joint content, whether through online gaming streams or viral challenges. The other four members of the group are ImDavisss, Chrisnxtdoor, Fanum and Agent 00.
Cenat, who catapulted to fame after joining the group, was present during the arrest, according to videos posted to social media. They show Dennis sitting on the floor of the mall handcuffed as Cenat, a floor above, captures video of the incident on his phone.
Neither Cenat nor Dennis has shared an official statement regarding the arrest though the latter did post an Instagram story the evening of Sunday, Aug. 3, the same day as his release, with a black screen accompanied by the text: "Officially on vacation, need suggestions on where to go... See y'all later."
His arrest comes on the heels of a major month of AMP. The group camped out in a Texas mega-mansion for the entirety of July, streaming for 12 hours each day for 31 days straight.

Leah reportedly defended herself in the comments, clarifying that she has no problem with Huda and wishes her well. 'I pray she protects her energy. From all kinds of people,' she wrote. 'There's many reasons why WE all unfollowed Louis... Huda isn't one of them and never was.' She went on to accuse Isaac of taking a phone call from Miguel on live for 'clout,' something Miguel seemed to echo in his Instagram Story addressing the drama. 'People I called my friends feeling as though they have the right to talk on my relationship so negatively in such a public manner with no regard for how this might affect my girls [sic] mental,' Miguel wrote. 'Making assumptions without first understanding reasons behind certain actions and using that to let people drag her name and drag my relationship is disgusting!' Miguel continued, defending Leah. 'Leah and the girls didn't unfollow Louis because he was dating Huda, they did it because as women the reasoning behind why he was dating her didn't sit right with them,' he wrote. 'Whether or not they are truly falling for each other at this point I couldn't care less. I wish them nothing but peace, but my road is my own and I would prefer if my name and my girl's name no longer crossed into their world.' Huda, make of these red flags what you will.

Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk will be the face of NHL 26
Matthew Tkachuk has been the face of the Florida Panthers for the past three years. He is becoming one of the faces of USA hockey, too, leading into the Winter Olympics in February. And now, he's the face of the NHL's annual video game. Tkachuk, the Panthers' star winger, will be the cover athlete for NHL 26, EA Sports unveiled on Monday. The full cover design for the game will be announced Wednesday on the EA Sports NHL YouTube channel. Tkachuk, who joined the Panthers via a blockbuster trade with the Calgary Flames ahead of the 2022-23 season, has helped turn the Panthers into a juggernaut. Florida has reached the Stanley Cup Final in all three of his seasons with the team and won it all each of the past two years. In that time, Tkachuk has logged 254 points (88 goals, 166 assists) in 211 regular-season games with the Panthers while adding another 69 points (25 goals, 44 assists) in 67 Stanley Cup playoffs games. He was tied for the team lead with 23 points during the team's run to a second consecutive Stanley Cup. Tkachuk also helped the United States win silver in the 4 Nations Face-Off in February and has already been named one of six players to be on Team USA for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. Elon Musk will bring back the defunct short-video platform Vine — only this time with an artificial intelligence twist that could transform how users create and share content online. The tech billionaire revealed Monday that his social media company X, formerly Twitter, found the full library of the six-second video app. 'We recently found the Vine video archive (thought it had been deleted) and are working on restoring user access, so you can post them if you want,' Musk wrote. 4 Elon Musk has announced plans to relaunch Vine as an AI-powered short-video platform to compete with TikTok and Instagram.
