Margaret Cho slams 'not nice' Ellen DeGeneres
The 56-year-old comic first crossed paths with the former talk show host on the stand-up circuit in the 1980s, so she always found it "really weird" that Ellen would pretend they had never met when she appeared on her eponymous daytime programme.
Speaking on The Kelly Mantle Show, Margaret said: "Ellen was really weird and not nice to me for most of my career.
"I opened for her in the 1980s, when she was a headliner in comedy clubs. Later, when I would do her talk show in the 2000s, she would act like we just met.
"And I'm like, 'B****, what?' That's weird. We go way back. It's so creepy and weird."
Margaret will never forget one particular incident when, after she had attended a David Bowie concert in a "Chinese emperor outfit", the 'Heroes' hitmaker - who died in January 2016 -praised the elaborate costume during an apeparance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the following day, but his remarks were edited out of the final broadcast.
She said: "It made me so mad.
"The producer, who was a really good friend of mine, had to call and tell me, 'I can't believe she did this but she cut it out of the show. But you need to know that he was going on and on about your outfit! God said your name.'
'[It's] so rude! I don't know if it was personal, maybe it was [cut] for time. But still, I'm going to take it personally just because I decided to.'
Margaret isn't the only comic to have criticised Ellen because Rosie O'Donnell recently admitted there is still unresolved "stuff" between herself and the Finding Dory star - who she previously accused of pretending she didn't know who she was - but insisted she doesn't bear any "malice" towards her.
Rosie told Us Weekly magazine: 'I don't want to fight against another gay woman. It's not like we're tenaciously opposed to each other. We're just very different people.
"We have had some stuff in the past that we never resolved. And not in any way as, as partners or lovers or anything like that, just as friends and comedians, but I wish her the best. I seriously do."

My husband says I'm the most disciplined person he knows, which I think is a compliment. 'I'm really quite militant about the way I eat and what I eat." However, she noted her weakness is sweets, but added: "I really try to manage it. I really just try to eat dark chocolate and cherries.' Ellen has to move "all day long", and "pretty much every day" tries to indulge in a sauna and a cold plunge. She said: 'I'll ride my bike from my trailer to the set... "'Even when I travel, I try to look for hotels that have a sauna and a pool. If they don't have a cold plunge, put a little bit of ice water on your face! I think it really tightens up my face, and the endorphin rush also makes me feel great.' The Good American Family actress is proud to be an ambassador for Cindy Crawford's Meaningful Beauty. She said: 'I am old enough to know that Cindy was one of the first women to have a beauty brand. I don't know of any other women in her position that were doing beauty brands back then when it wasn't cool or popular. I'm sure she got more than a few eye rolls. 'I love the serum. That's my hero product from the line, and, I think that's their best product."

Kyle MacLachlan "would love" to appear in And Just Like That. The 66-year-old actor portrayed Charlotte York's ex-husband Trey MacDougal in Sex and the City but he turned down an initial approach to come back for the spin-off show because he felt there should be "more" than what the writers pitched. He told Us Weekly magazine: 'Listen, I would love to come back and have fun. 'And what they suggested to me, I said, 'I think there should be more. So I just said, 'I wonder, if the relationship that Charlotte and Trey had demands a little more than their first idea.' " While Kyle - who has his own wine company, Pursued by Bear - didn't give any detail as to what a potential return would have involved, he thinks Trey would be going through a "very interesting" time in his life now. Scott Porter admits Ginny and Georgia success surpassed expectations
Scott Porter has been surprised by the success of Ginny and Georgia. The 45-year-old actor has played Mayor Paul Randolph in the hit Netflix series since 2021, and he admits that the show has surpassed his own expectations. Asked about the show's long-term future, Scott told Us Weekly: "Our creator, Sarah [Lampert], is an infinite well of stories. I'm sure we could spin this thing for an awful long time. "And it's up to Netflix on whether or not we continue on. But, let me just say to our viewers, thank you so much for tuning in over these first three seasons. We never expected the show to be a hit the way that it is — and it's all because of you all. So thank you." The show - which follows a young single mother who tries to run away from her past - has already been renewed for a fourth season, and Scott still loves working on Ginny and Georgia. He shared: "I trust [the writers]. They are mapping out a show that's unlike anything I've ever been on before. The twists, the turns, the cliffhangers and it works. "So these scenes, my No. 1 word for this season and for me filling the shoes of Paul is 'intimidating.' I was intimidated with some of the stuff they presented me with and I wasn't sure if I could keep up with our two leads who were so incredible. "When they're asking Paul to reach these emotional depths, falling apart in front of our eyes and letting a little bit of his inner darkness out, I was intimidated." Scott has also revealed his hopes for his own character in season four. The actor said: "There's parts of Paul we still don't understand and we haven't seen. So his resilience and how he rebounds from this in season four, I'd love to see some of that. I'd love to see a little bit of the old Paul. "We've heard how good he is at his job. He was elected mayor before Georgia ever walked into his life. I'd love to see that fight, that wit, that charm come back a little bit in season four."
