Travelling to Bodrum This Summer? The Gigi Rigolatto Pop-up at the Mandarin Oriental is a Must-visit

The restaurant boasts Hugo Toro–designed interiors, seasonal flavours, and a boutique offering everything from jewellery to resortwear
As far as summer rendezvous go, few hold the same sun-kissed charm as the Aegean coast. Add a little Italian flair, a Bellini or two, and a terrace that is made for golden-hour selfies, and you've got yourself a season to remember. Just in time for peak travel, Gigi Rigolatto, the name behind the locations in Saint-Tropez, Paris, and Dubai, has landed in Bodrum, with a pop-up at Mandarin Oriental.
Opened this June, Gigi Rigolatto Bodrum is the latest chapter in a story that celebrates joie de vivre with elegance. A long-term collaboration between RIKAS Hospitality Group, Paris Society, and the iconic Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, this marks the prelude to a permanent location debuting in 2026.
Set within the resort's private enclave, the beachside venue offers panoramic views across the Aegean Sea from its 140-seat terrace. Guests can expect everything Gigi is known for at its locations across the world, including refined Italian dining and golden sunsets. The menu draws inspiration from both the hills of Tuscany and the coastal warmth of Puglia, with seasonal dishes served alongside the signature Bellini Bar.
However, Gigi is more than its food offerings. Designed by acclaimed architect Hugo Toro, the space blends historical Italian charm with a touch of Mediterranean flare. The adjoining boutique concept store offers a curated selection of swimwear, jewellery, homeware, and beauty finds.
With its secluded bay, immaculate service, and a backdrop that's fit for a postcard, the Gigi pop-up at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum is your chance to completely immerse into the la dolce vita lifestyle this summer.

Meet the Reborn Destino Five Ibiza: The New Jewel Of The White Isle

After a luxe transformation by one of Dubai's most visionary developers, this legendary resort is now the go-to for style-conscious travellers seeking great food, iconic DJ sets and the ultimate Ibiza-chic stay Whether you're a gourmet traveller seeking a hotel with serious chef credentials, a burnt-out businesswoman craving a wellness escape, or a group of friends after a stylish spot to crash post-party, Ibiza has never been short on luxury hotels that tick all the right boxes. But after a transformation by Dubai's Five Holdings, there's one place that is currently stealing the White Isle spotlight right now: Destino Five Ibiza. The resort reopened its doors in early June with a well-earned five-star status thanks to British-Emirati property developer Nadia Zaal – the visionary behind Al Barari and Nurai Island – who led a meticulous seven-month overhaul of everything from the guest rooms to the beach club. And her efforts paid off – on arrival, guests are greeted with an expansive panorama of the resort and sea views from the light-filled lobby, while its 159 stylish rooms and suites all come carefully crafted with refined contemporary aesthetics in neutral colour palettes. Touches of Ibiza's free-spirited flair remain, from tie-dye accents and neon-lit mirrored ceilings to pools splashed in bold, joyful hues. The crème de la crème rooms are the Cherry Vista and Cherry Suites, which come complete with expansive private terraces, large private pools and breathtaking views of Ibiza's majestic shores and the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Elsewhere, the resort's communal areas are equally as plush, now boasting a fire pit for starlit evenings, a fantastic outdoor gym and an open-air stage set to host cult-name performances throughout the season, but more on that later. As you'd expect, the culinary scene here is top-notch too, and you can choose from three standout venues including all-day dining hotspot Cielo, which is the perfect place to begin your day with a lavish breakfast buffet featuring live cooking stations, fresh juices and Mediterranean favourites like made-to-order eggs, local fruits and creamy yoghurts. Come lunchtime, well-heeled diners tuck into everything from crisp salads and handmade pastas to the local catch of the day. For dinner with a view, head to Elia which, perched cliffside with panoramic vistas over Talamanca Bay, Dalt Vila and Formentera's horizon, serves up a menu of fresh daily catches, succulent grilled meats, vibrant mezze platters, dips like tzatziki and melitzanosalata, plus signature small plates paired with wine or artful cocktails. Last but not least, there's the newly redesigned beach club, Playa Pacha, where guests lounge by the hotel's iconic cherry-shaped pool in Prada bucket hats, graze on Mediterranean bites and sip rosé by day, meanwhile, come nightfall, the DJs take over, spinning late into the evening for the ultimate Ibiza day-to-night party. Speaking of a party, while the White Isle may be best known for its impressive array of spots to let your hair down, those in the know are heading straight to Destino Five Ibiza for its Pacha Icons series, where some of the world's top DJs are taking to the resort's open-air stage. Case in point? Sonny Federa, Grammy-nominated UK duo CamelPhat, Abracadabra (the first female-led headline residency in Pacha Ibiza's history) and Canadian star BLOND:ISH have all been snapped up for residencies. Book your stay directly with the hotel and you'll receive complementary access, with Solomun closing the show on September 25. World renowned label Defected is also making its return to Pacha Ibiza, with the legendary house party back this year, taking place each Thursday until October 2025. The best bit? Destino Five Ibiza doesn't just care about you having a good time – it also cares for the environment, too. As such, the hotel runs on 100 per cent green power, conserves millions of litres of water through state-of-the-art recycling and reduction measures, and has achieved a 46 per cent reduction in its carbon footprint. It also sources fresh produce from the island through Ibiza's 0 KM program, meaning all ingredients are as local as they come. We'll see you on the dancefloor.

Bvlgari opens first luxury mansion at new Bodrum resort development

Bvlgari Resort and Mansions Bodrum has opened the first completed mansion from its residential project on Turkey's Aegean coast. AHEN, the development company founded by Mehmet Cengiz, chairman of Cengiz Holdings, is delivering the project. ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel designed the development, which sits on a 60-hectare peninsula between two bays along the Bodrum coastline. Six-bedroom Bvlgari mansion opens for viewing at Bodrum Peninsula Resort The development spans 68 hectares of terraced Mediterranean gardens. Plans include a resort and 101 Bvlgari-branded mansions positioned on the seafront and hillside. The residences range from three to six bedrooms. Each mansion integrates into the landscape with native vegetation covering rooftops. The design minimises visual impact from the sea and preserves natural views. The completed six-bedroom mansion spans two floors and features a staircase, double-height living area with floor-to-ceiling windows, dining space with open kitchen by Molteni&C | Dada Engineered, fitness room with Technogym equipment, and massage room. ACPV ARCHITECTS selected furniture pieces from Maxalto, B&B Italia, and Flexform. Lighting comes from Flos, FontanaArte, Aggio, and Oluce. Altai provided carpets. The interiors display Turkish artworks by Mübin Orhon, Ergin İnan, and Devrim Erbil. An 18th-century Anatolian Kilim and Iznik-style ceramics from Florence's Cantagalli Manufactory feature in the design. The landscaped garden extends to a beach with a deck. A 16-metre infinity pool anchors the outdoor space, with a lounge featuring a fireplace and dining area. Cracknell, the landscaping firm, designed the masterplan using the peninsula's native ecosystem. Their approach combines indigenous planting with walkways and water-wise solutions. Exteriors use travertine and sandstone cladding with high-performance windows. Interiors feature Denizli travertine from a local quarry and Perla Rocca quartzite in bathrooms. Fittings come from Axor, Antonio Lupi, Kaldewei, Geberit, and Duravit. Construction teams reintegrated excavated stone into the surrounding landscape to enhance biodiversity. ZKLD, a Turkish lighting design studio, created the illumination system using warm tones that highlight materials without disrupting the environment. The 101 mansions range from 850 to 2,800 square metres across terraced terrain with sea views. Mansion residents will access amenities at the upcoming Bvlgari Resort Bodrum, including Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Hōseki Japanese restaurant, a Mediterranean seafood restaurant, La Spiaggia beachfront dining, and the Bvlgari Bar. The resort will feature a private pier for boat access. A 2,200 square metre spa will offer hyperbaric therapy, zero-body dry flotation, and a Himalayan salt sauna. Additional facilities include two beach clubs, a sea-view amphitheater for events, and property management services.

3 of the best market-style seafood restaurants in Dubai

Seafood restaurants in Dubai come in many different forms, but market-style dining takes things up a notch. It's simple: pick your fish or shellfish fresh from the display, decide how you want it cooked, and leave the rest to the kitchen. It's a hands-on way to enjoy seafood that's simple and made for those who know exactly what they like. Here are three of the best market-style seafood restaurants in Dubai where the catch is king. Bab El Bahr Newly redesigned with a modern, artistic edge, Bab El Bahr brings Lebanese coastal charm to Downtown Dubai. The updated space feels both relaxed and refined – ideal for everything from breakfast to long lunches and evening dinners. It's a market-style seafood concept: pick your catch of the day – from Gulf shrimp and Omani lobster to red snapper, hammour, and sultan ibrahim – then let the chefs do the rest with a Mediterranean‑Lebanese flair. Start with mezze classics like mutabbal, baba ghanouj, borak jibneh, beetroot salad, warak enab, and crispy batata harra. The lobster bisque is rich and comforting, and the grilled arayes make a perfect warm starter. Desserts are seriously indulgent – go for the baklava ice cream, chocolatina, or opt for the traditional ghazel el banat with ice cream if you're craving something sweet and nostalgic. Location: Boulevard 29, Mohamed Bin Rashid Blvd, Downtown Dubai Times: Daily, 11 am–1 am Contact: (0)4 456 2881 | @ Seafood Market There's a reason this place has lasted over 30 years – it does what it does very well. Seafood Market at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel first opened in 1992 and still draws loyal fans with its sprawling display of fresh oysters, crabs, lobsters and line-caught fish. The setup is straight out of a Southeast Asian seafood market, complete with tanks and a pick-your-own format. Interiors lean cruise-liner chic, and the whole place has a nostalgic charm that works. You pick your seafood, choose the cooking style, and settle in. Location: Seafood Market, Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Al Garhoud Times: Daily, 12.30pm–11.30pm Contact: (0)4 702 2455 | @seafoodmarketdubai Ibn AlBahr Laid-back yet lively, Ibn AlBahr is a Lebanese seafood classic with a twist – market-style pick-your-fish action in two prime spots. One sits at the edge of Dubai Creek, the other at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. Step up to the ice display, choose your catch, pick how it's cooked, and the chefs take care of the rest. Expect grilled fish, jumbo prawns, hearty mezze platters, and refreshing drinks – all enjoyed by the water. Whether it's a sunset dinner by the creek or a beachside lunch on the Palm, it's seafood your way.
