Is Allu Arjun starrer AA23 with Trivikram Srinivas set between Satya and Treta Yugams?
As per a report by Telugu Chitraalu, the upcoming venture with the Pushpa actor is said to have the film set in an unseen and unique world. The movie apparently takes place between the Satya Yugam and Treta Yugam, based on Hindu mythology.
Additionally, the makers are said to have created a special team that is currently in the pre-production works, finding references from mythological texts.
While details about the same are still ambiguous and unconfirmed, it would be interesting to see such a world unfold with Allu Arjun headlining it. The actor had recently made the headlines after he bagged the Telangana state's Gaddar Film Awards, becoming the Best Actor with his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Talking about the actor, Allu is currently involved in the works of his upcoming venture with Atlee. The much-awaited film is said to be of the 'parallel universe' genre, with the makers heavily relying on international VFX studios.
While more details about its casting are still unclear, reports suggest that the movie would have 5 different heroines in key roles. With names like Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and even Bhagyashri Borse doing the rounds, the makers are still finalizing on a 5th actress.
Interestingly, the film was earlier said to have Allu Arjun in dual roles, which would have been a first for him. However, rumors also indicate that the actor would also have a 3rd character in the film, which would be an animated version.
Coming to the actor's work front, Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, which is the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil alongside him. The film features the story of Pushparaju, a daily wage worker who transitions to become a sandalwood smuggler, becoming the kingpin of the syndicate.
As the movie ended on a high note, the film is set to have a 3rd installment titled as Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

Kerala HC to watch Suesh Gopi film ‘Janaki vs State of Kerala' amid title row
Kochi: The Kerala high court on Wednesday decided to watch the Malayalam film 'JSK: Janaki v/s State of Kerala' before hearing further the matter related to the objections raised by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) about its title. A poster of the film 'JSK: Janaki v/s State of Kerala', starring Suresh Gopi. Its producer Cosmos Entertainments had moved the high court in June against the delay by CBFC in granting the censor certificate to the film, starring actor and Union minister of state Suresh Gopi. The film was later referred to the revision committee of CBFC for further scrutiny. CBFC has since then maintained that the name 'Janaki' in the film's title refers to a Hindu goddess and that its usage in a film talking about sexual violence would offend religious sentiments. The producers have maintained that the film tells the story of Janaki, a woman who survived rape and later appeals for justice through the legal system. On Wednesday, when the matter came up for hearing, the high court bench of Justice N Nagaresh orally observed that it is appropriate to view the movie before passing an order. The judge directed the producers of the film to set up a screening on July 5 and posted the matter for further hearing on July 9. Earlier, justice Nagaresh had asked why a rape survivor couldn't be named Janaki and lashed out at CBFC for interfering with artistic freedom. 'Now you will dictate to directors and artists which names they should use and which stories they should tell. What is wrong with Janaki? Janaki is not a rapist. If a rapist is named as Rama, Krishna, Janaki then I can understand. The heroine is fighting for justice, what is the problem with that name?' the judge had asked. On Monday, members of Malayalam film actors and producer bodies had protested in front of the CBFC regional office in Thiruvananthapuram for the 'disturbing' and 'arbitrary' demands of CBFC to change the title and the name of the principal character of the film.

Mahesh Babu, not Simbu, was supposed to star in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Here's how the climax looked like then
Gautham Vasudev Menon's 2010 film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, with Simbu and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, has to be one of his most iconic films. Recently, on Sudhir Srinivasan's podcast, the filmmaker revealed that he initially wrote the film for Mahesh Babu with a completely different ending. Gautham Vasudev Menon wrote the film for Mahesh Babu but he turned it down. Gautham did not name Mahesh in the conversation but mentioned that he wrote Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa for a 'big superstar' whose family was producing the film in Telugu. Mahesh's sister Manjula Ghattamaneni had produced the Telugu version, Ye Maaya Chesave, with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He stated that when they signed him to write a film, he wrote what came to him 'naturally' in six days, which was a love story and not an action film. 'The ending was different in my first draft. Actually, he'll be working on a film set. The film's actor will be Chiranjeevi sir. And this girl is now getting married, finally, somewhere else. They've moved on, but he somehow wants to be there for the wedding. When he looks disturbed on set, the hero asks him what's wrong. When he tells him, he arranges a helicopter for him. I wrote a cinematic version,' said Gautham. However, when he narrated the film to Mahesh, he turned it down because he didn't want to star in a love story. 'When I narrated it to the hero, he said everyone will expect us to do an action film. I expected the same, so I don't want to do this. I then took it to an equally big star in Telugu, but he had the same issue,' said the director. About Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa starred Simbu and Trisha. It was shot simultaneously as the Telugu version, Ye Maaya Chesave, with Chaitanya and Samantha. Manjula produced the Telugu version under Indira Productions, and the Tamil version was backed by Elred Kumar, Jayaraman, VTV Ganesh and P Madan under the banners Escape Artists Motion Pictures and RS Infotainment. The film explores the complicated relationship between a Hindu boy and an older Malayali girl. Both films received good reviews and are considered classics.
