Wardrobe mishap occurs during Bezos and Sánchez wedding celebration in Venice

Vittoria Ceretti experienced a fashion mishap at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's lavish wedding celebration in Venice on June 28, 2025. The Italian model wore a Dolce and Gabbana gown, originally from the fall–winter 2003/04 collection, to the event's themed party. In a series of Instagram Stories, Ceretti revealed that the dress suffered a tear during the evening. She shared lighthearted captions showing the before-and-after of the gown, writing 'how it started' over an elegant photo and 'how it's going' above a picture of the expanding rip. -Instagram The same dress was previously worn by Gisele Bündchen at the 2003 Met Gala. Some observers speculated that alterations to the archival piece, combined with the evening's festivities, may have contributed to the malfunction. Leonardo DiCaprio, Ceretti's partner, attended the celebration as well, keeping a low profile in a dark suit and baseball cap. The Venice-based event drew many high-profile guests and also sparked some public protest over overtourism.

Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sánchez Say No To Wedding Gifts, Instead They Want...

Last Updated: Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez will marry this week in Venice, Italy. As Venice braces for one of its most talked-about weddings, all eyes are on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. But amid the glamour, guest lists, and headlines, the couple has made a thoughtful request – they don't want any gifts. The Amazon founder and his fiancée will get married this week. Ahead of the celebration, the couple sent out invitations with a clear message: 'We are excited for you to join us. We have one early request: please, no gifts." Instead of traditional presents, Bezos and Sánchez have chosen to make donations to three local institutions on behalf of their guests. The contributions will go to the UNESCO Venice Office, CORILA and Venice International University. 'Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard this city's irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the vital lagoon habitats that protect Venice's future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions," it continued. Their note adds: 'The magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these gifts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come." Still, not everyone is thrilled about the scale of the celebration. In the days leading up to the wedding, protest signs have been put up in Venice's historic areas. Locals have voiced concern over disruptions, traffic and the strain of hosting high-profile events in a city already battling overtourism. Originally, the couple had picked Cannaregio for post-wedding celebrations. But reports suggest the plan was changed due to fears of demonstrations. The celebrations have now been shifted to the Arsenale, a historic naval complex in Castello district. Though guests have been asked not to bring gifts, they will receive goody bags from Laguna B, a Murano-based glassware company. While the exact items remain under wraps, sources describe them as 'opulent." The couple is also supporting local vendors wherever possible. Around 80 per cent of the food and other essentials for the wedding are being sourced from Venice-based businesses including the Murano glassware maker Laguna B and the city's oldest pastry maker, Rosa Salva. Bezos and Sánchez got engaged in 2023. Sánchez has three children – Evan and Ella, from her marriage to Hollywood talent agent Patrick Whitesell, and a son, Nikko, from her earlier relationship with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez. Bezos shares four children with his ex-wife, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott including their eldest son, Preston, born in 2000. The names and details of their other children including an adopted daughter, are not public. First Published:

Jeff Bezos-Lauren Sanchez Wedding: Leonardo DiCaprio to Bring Vittoria Ceretti as Date? Guest List Revealed

Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, are expected to be among the high-profile guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Venice, Italy, this summer. A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the actor and Ceretti will be attending the event. The couple has been romantically linked since August 2023. The Amazon founder and the former TV host got engaged in 2023 when Jeff Bezos proposed aboard his USD 500 million yacht. The wedding will take place in Venice, although the exact venue has not been publicly confirmed. Who is attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding? Lauren Sánchez's ex-boyfriend, former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, will also be attending the festivities, along with their 24-year-old son, Nikko, according to a June 24 report by PEOPLE. The wedding guest list also includes several celebrities. Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, and Eva Longoria, who were part of Sánchez's bachelorette celebration at Lafayette's in Paris on May 15, are expected to join the celebration in Venice. Earlier this year, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro confirmed that Bezos and Sánchez would be hosting their wedding in the historic city. However, he did not reveal a specific location. 'The many speculations and fake news circulating about Jeff Bezos' wedding are completely unfounded,' he said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE in April. He also confirmed that only 200 guests are invited and stated that the wedding would not disrupt the city. 'We are mutually working and supporting the organizers, to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city,' the mayor's statement added. Here's what the wedding invitation reveals The wedding invitations, obtained by ABC News, are luxurious and feature artwork of flying birds, gondoliers, shooting stars, and butterflies. The couple also requested guests not to bring gifts. 'We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts,' the invitation reads. 'Instead we're making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.' The donations will go to three Venice-based causes: UNESCO Venice Office for cultural heritage, CORILA for lagoon restoration, and Venice International University for sustainability research.
