SILVER ALERT: Woman with dementia missing from Northwest Jacksonville
Doris Rhoden was last seen near her home in the area of Bulls Bay Highway and Pritchard Road on Thursday around 7 p.m.
She left in her gold 2015 Kia Sorento with Florida tag number 61B-IPM.
She may be traveling in the area of I-10 and Lane Avenue on Jacksonville's Westside.
Mrs. Rhoden is 74 years old. According to JSO, she has been diagnosed with dementia.

Teens charged in road rage shooting along I-20
A road rage incident turned violent, leaving two people hospitalized. Governor commits funding to revive training program for inmates

Larry Rhoden is giving new life to a training program for inmates that was shelved recently. 'Being Open for Opportunity means investing in people and believing in second chances,' Rhoden said in a statement Monday, referencing a slogan he often uses to promote economic development. The program will bring on-site instruction to the state penitentiary so inmates can earn a certificate to work on diesel heavy equipment. Inmate training program shelved while prison construction talks continue Last August, the Department of Corrections and Southeast Technical College got approval from the state Board of Technical Education to expand the college's diesel program to the penitentiary. Officials later decided to shelve the initiative due to a lack of funding and concerns over how it would fit into the still-developing plans for construction of a new men's prison at an undetermined site. Rhoden announced Monday that he will provide $1.5 million for the training program from the Future Fund, a pot of economic development money under the exclusive control of the governor. Corrections Secretary Kellie Wasko praised the program's reinstatement. 'Education is one of the best ways to support rehabilitation and reduce recidivism,' Wasko said in a statement. 'These programs give people purpose, build skills, and strengthen families and communities across South Dakota.' The diesel training program will fill a void left by Metal Craft Industries, a privately operated prison shop that employed inmates at market wages. The company said it was pushed out of the prison system last year by administrators. Wasko has said the company left voluntarily to avoid adhering to newer, stricter security protocols. The Future Fund, which Rhoden is tapping to provide money for the training program, is supported by a surcharge on employer payroll taxes. State law says the fund is for 'purposes related to research and economic development for the state.' Some of former Gov. Kristi Noem's uses of the fund were controversial. That included money to build a state-owned shooting range that the Legislature refused to fund, a workforce recruitment ad campaign starring Noem, a 'Governor's Cup' rodeo that included Noem carrying in the American flag on horseback, and a fireworks display at Mount Rushmore. Police car chase ends with arrest of Worcester man accused of crashing stolen truck four times
Tewksbury police arrested a Worcester man they say stole a truck and crashed it four times after a car chase Sunday afternoon. Daniel Riedl, 41, pleaded not guilty to four counts of leaving the scene of a car crash with property damage and one count each of larceny of a motor vehicle, negligent operation, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, failure to stop for police, speeding and a marked lanes violation during his arraignment in Lowell District Court on Monday, according to court records. On June 22, Tewksbury police received a report shortly after 1:20 p.m. that a white Ford F-250 had been stolen from the Petroil gas station on Main Street, the police department said in a press release. Officers soon located the truck and attempted to pull it over, but the driver — who was later identified as Riedl — did not stop for police. A short time later, the truck hit a nearby Honda Civic and fled the scene, police said. Tewksbury police then received reports of a crash involving the truck and a Kia Sorento. Officers soon located the stolen truck again, but decided to stop chasing it due to Riedl's dangerous driving, police said. They continued tracking it as Riedl drove toward I-495 south, but he crashed into a traffic light and backed into a Tewksbury police cruiser before continuing onto the highway. Officers then notified Massachusetts State Police of truck's location, and troopers soon pulled it over and arrested Riedl, Tewksbury police said. He was released on personal recognizance bail during his arraignment and is due back in court on July 22, according to court records.
