LONDON (AP) — It was a day for trophy parades in English soccer on Monday as fans of Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Arsenal Women celebrated their teams winning titles this season.
Thousands of supporters gathered outside Emirates Stadium in north London to watch Arsenal's players lift the Women's Champions League trophy after they returned from Lisbon, where they beat Barcelona 1-0 in the final on Saturday.

Donning shirts with 'Champions 25' on the back, Arsenal's players — some wearing sunglasses despite the gray sky — were introduced individually onto a stage to the backdrop of cheers.
Over in south London, a bus containing Palace players wound through the streets on its long route to the team's Selhurst Park home as the club paraded the FA Cup — the first major trophy in its 119-year history.
Palace beat Manchester City 1-0 in the final on May 17.
In Liverpool city center, tens of thousands of fans were expected to attend Liverpool's trophy parade throughout the afternoon after the team won the Premier League for a record-tying 20th top-flight championship title.

How Commanders view Terry McLaurin's stunning trade request

Thus, according to ESPN's John Keim, the two sides are far apart in negotiations. Terry McLaurin is doing a hold-in. AP McLaurin is coming off a season-high 13 touchdowns and has hit the 1,000-yard mark for five straight seasons. He was a major part of the Commanders' NFC title game run that marked the franchise's best season since winning the Super Bowl in 1991. He is currently attending meetings and walkthroughs while rehabbing an ankle injury that's been a nagging issue since late in the season. 'I try to avoid judging it,' Quinn said. 'I recognize players are trying to set themselves and their families up, so I try not to put myself in that spot. It's too easy to say, 'Man, if I had that much I would be this or that.' So I don't go there. I try to support him as best I can, but we don't discuss the finance part of things.'

India lead up to 281 after Jaiswal hundred at the Oval
LONDON (AP) — Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal reached another century and was dropped again as India's lead over England reached 281 runs by tea on day three Saturday of the fifth test at the Oval. Jaiswal made 118 after he was dropped three times. Ravindra Jadeja was on 26 with Dhruv Jurel on 25 and India was 304-6 in its second innings. India added 115 runs in the middle session for the loss of captain Shubman Gill, Karun Nair and Jaiswal. Gill was out to the first delivery after lunch, plumb lbw to an in-swinger by Gus Atkinson. With 11 in his last bat of the series, Gill finished with 754 runs, passing Graham Gooch's 752 in 1990 for the most by any batter in an India-England series. In the same over, Nair's index finger was crunched by Josh Tongue and it was taped up. But Nair, in obvious discomfort, never settled. He was dropped on 12 and eventually out for 17, his glove nicking behind Atkinson's extra bounce. By then, Jaiswal already had his hundred, his second of the series, fourth against England, and sixth of his career. He turned his 127th ball faced to point and was celebrating before he ran the single; leaping, running, and shaping his fingers into a heart. Jaiswal played frantically for his 51 on Friday night and was dropped on 20 and 40. He was composed on Saturday, happy in the morning to let nightwatchman Akash Deep cut loose for a career-best 66 with 12 boundaries in their third-wicket stand of 107. But as the day clouded over, England's seam attack, depleted of the injured Chris Woakes, discovered some nasty movement and Atkinson and Tongue came alive in the afternoon. Jaiswal added only eight more runs when he fell tamely a half-hour before tea for 118. He ramped Tongue straight to Jamie Overton at backward point. Jaiswal used up 164 balls and hit 14 boundaries and, on Friday evening, two sixes. But he also used his luck to put India in a position to give England a tough chase. Cameron Young extends lead to 3 shots at Wyndham Championship
Associated Press GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Cameron Young capped off a bogey-free second round on Saturday morning for an 8-under 62, giving him a three-shot lead in the Wyndham Championship as the New York native goes for his first PGA Tour win and tries to get in the Ryder Cup conversation. Young knocked in a 6-foot birdie putt on the par-3 16th when he returned to complete the storm-delayed second round at Sedgefield Country Club. He got up-and-down for par after driving into the rough on the 17th and closed with a par. Young was at 15-under 125. He is widely considered the best player without a win on a major tour, having finished runner-up seven times, including a World Golf Championship and at the British Open at St. Andrews. Defending champion Aaron Rai, who led Friday evening one shot behind, took double bogey on the 16th hole. He wound up four shots out of the lead. Mac Meissner, Joel Dahmen and Sungjae Im were three shots behind. The cut came at 3-under 137. This is the final tournament of the regular season that determines the 70 players who advance to the postseason. Among those who are left out of the lucrative FedEx Cup playoffs are Keith Mitchell, Max Homa and Sahith Theegala, who all missed the cut. Homa and Theegala were on the U.S. team at the Presidents Cup just 10 months ago. Danish twins Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard are still in the mix, but just barely. The cut was looking at 4-under par at one point. Both finished on 3 under and will now have 36 holes to play well enough to try to move into the top 70 — Nicolai is at No. 71, Rasmus at No. 82.
