Here is the video
The incident reportedly occurred in Phase 1 of Electronics City on July 21, when a group of runners from a club called 'Run & Rave' were asked to leave the area by two policemen. One of the runners, an Instagram user named Yang, posted a video of the encounter, questioning the legality of running on public roads. 'Is running illegal in India?' Yang asked in his caption. 'Me along with friends were running in Electronics City Phase 1 and this is what happened.'
The footage shows two uniformed policemen approaching the runners, asking them to disperse. In one clip, a policeman is seen confronting a woman and demanding she leave the area. 'Why are you still here when I told you to leave?' the officer is heard saying.
While initial reactions on social media suggested that the incident may have stemmed from a language barrier, Yang later clarified that the issue was far more serious. 'This is not about language,' he said in a follow-up post. 'It's about how the cop behaved. He said things like 'I will beat you' and 'I will kill you'—that's not acceptable.' Yang also acknowledged a CISF personnel who stepped in to defuse the situation and help the runners.

Despite the confrontation, Yang made it clear that the group would not be discouraged. 'After everything that happened last week, we just want to say one thing, we're not stopping. This Sunday, July 27, Run & Rave is back, with more energy, more community, and more good vibes,' he said. 'We're not here to fight. We're here to move. To run together. To build something positive. If you've ever felt the joy of a morning run, this is your cue.'
The videos quickly gained traction on social media, with users expressing concern over the police's behaviour. Several demanded accountability, urging the runners to file formal complaints under criminal intimidation laws if the officers were not part of the official police force.
However, the episode also drew criticism from some commuters, who alleged that the runners were blocking roads and causing inconvenience. One commenter wrote, 'If they're private guards and this happens again, file an FIR and press charges under BNS 141 for criminal intimidation.'

Man held from Punjabs Amritsar for threatening Congress MP Randhawas son
Chandigarh, Aug 2 (PTI) A man was arrested from Punjab's Amritsar for allegedly threatening Congress MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa's son, police on Saturday said. The preliminary probe, however, revealed no link with any gangster in the matter, they said. The accused, identified as Gagandeep Singh, made the threatening comments, police said. The senior Congress leader had on Friday alleged that jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has threatened to kill his son. Batala Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Suhail Qasim Mir said Gagandeep Singh hails from this city but was currently staying in Amritsar. The accused had made some objectionable and threatening comment on an Instagram post of Randhawa's son Udhayveer Singh. After taking up the matter with the Instagram authorities, it was found that the objectionable comments were made from Gagandeep's account, the SSP told reporters reporters in Batala. The accused was arrested from Amritsar, he said. The preliminary probe revealed that there was no link with any gangster in this case, said police, adding that 'it was an act of mischief". The SSP, however, said that this matter would be thoroughly investigated. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the IT Act, police said. Randhawa had said on Friday that Bhagwanpuria has threatened to kill his son. 'One of my associates met my son and within one hour of leaving, he was fired upon," he said in a post on X. The Congress leader had alleged that Bhagwanpuria was threatening people even from inside prison. The MP's associate had also stated that he too received one such call. Batala Police wrote to the jail authorities in Silchar, Assam, to have effective surveillance on Bhagwanpuria, the SSP said. Earlier in March, Bhagwanpuria was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the PIT-NDPS Act and shifted from the Central Jail in Bathinda to Assam's Silchar jail. The gangster, who faces several other cases, was already in the custody of Punjab Police in the 2022 singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Achraf Hakimi rape trial: Was the PSG star framed? New French reports uncover disturbing messages from the accuser
Achraf Hakimi, one of PSG's top stars and a Champions League winner, is facing trial over allegations of rape stemming from an incident in 2023. French prosecutors have moved ahead, officially pushing for a criminal case that could see the 26-year-old sentenced to up to 15 years in prison if found guilty. But in a stunning twist, French outlet L'Equipe has now reported that Hakimi may have actually been the target of an attempted robbery, fraud, and extortion, all allegedly orchestrated by his accuser and her friend, as revealed through disturbing private messages uncovered during the investigation. French investigators discover shocking private chats between Achraf Hakimi's accuser and her friend. According to L'Equipe, French investigators discovered WhatsApp exchanges that imply the accuser and her friend were planning to seduce and rob Hakimi. Messages like 'We're going to rob him blind,' 'Come in femme fatale mode,' and 'We're street girls' were found on Nadia's phone. 🚨NEW NEWS IN THE HAKIMI CASE:In the Hakimi case, investigators uncovered troubling messages between Amélie (the accuser) and her friend Nadia, including: 'We're going to rob him blind' and 'We're street girls.'When questioned, they claimed it was just dark humor and jokes.… One text from Amelie before meeting Hakimi read, 'I'm gonna f*** him,' followed by Nadia responding, 'LMAO dirty sl*t.' These messages paint a very different picture from the image Amelie reportedly gave police, one of a shy, nervous girl unfamiliar with casual encounters. When questioned, both women claimed they were just joking. Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe defends Achraf Hakimi's character Achraf Hakimi's close friend and Real Madrid star, Kylian Mbappe, has publicly come to his defence. Speaking to the French media, Mbappe said, 'Hakimi is respectful with women. Even when drunk, I've never seen him behave inappropriately. We're not savages, and we've been prepared for this since the start of our careers.' His statement adds to a growing number of voices questioning the integrity of the accusations. The original allegation against Achraf Hakimi: What happened in 2023? The alleged incident dates back to February 2023. Amelie, a 24-year-old woman, claimed she met Hakimi through Instagram and that after weeks of chatting, he invited her to his home near Paris while the football star's wife Hiba Abouk and children were away. She alleged that he assaulted her after kissing her without consent. The woman later reported the encounter to police but initially refused to file a formal complaint. She eventually submitted messages to investigators and officially pressed charges. On March 3, 2023, Hakimi was formally indicted by an investigating judge. Prosecution wants a trial, but the Defence calls it 'senseless' French prosecutors have now recommended that Hakimi's case go to trial, with the footballer potentially facing up to 15 years in prison. A spokesperson from the Nanterre prosecutor's office confirmed their intent to proceed. Meanwhile, Hakimi's lawyer Fanny Colin criticised the move, stating: 'These requisitions are incomprehensible and senseless in light of the evidence… particularly the psychological assessments.' Achraf Hakimi, who has consistently denied the allegations, remains free on bail. Achraf Hakimi: 'They tried to blackmail me' In a previous interview with the French media, Hakimi claimed there was a plot against him. 'When you are successful and things are going well, you become an easy target… They wanted to blackmail me, and that's why we filed a complaint,' he said. 🚨Hakimi Case – What the Police FoundWhile reviewing the complainant Amélie's phone, police discovered messages she hadn't disclosed, including one where her friend urges her to act in 'femme fatale mode,' saying: 'Try to get the codes… we're gonna rob him… we're street… The defence maintains that the case is built on falsehoods and intends to appeal any decision that leads to a criminal trial. What happens next in the Achraf Hakimi rape case? The decision now lies with the investigating judge, who will determine whether Hakimi will face trial in a criminal court. While the prosecution pushes forward, L'Equipe's revelations have added a new layer of doubt to a case already surrounded by media scrutiny and public speculation.
