The episode featured a powerhouse lineup including
, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and director Anurag Basu.
The episode began with Kapil searching for Navjot Singh Sidhu, as he appeared missing from his seat next to Archana Puran Singh. Later, he got to know that Navjot Singh Sidhu wouldn't be making it to the episode as he was busy. He then welcomed the star cast of the show.
Kapil congratulated Ali Fazal for becoming a father and welcoming his firstborn. He then congratulated Neena Gupta for becoming a grandmother. Neena revealed how she hates hearing 'Nani' and wants her daughter-in-law to call her Neena. She said, 'Nani feels too old and I want to feel young.'
As the episode went ahead, Kapil teased Sara Ali Khan, asking her about her marriage plans. Later, in a playful moment, host
drew a humorous connection between Aditya's past co-stars and their marriages.
He said that after working with Katrina Kaif (Fitoor), Alia Bhatt (Sadak 2), and Sobhita Dhulipala (The Night Manager) — all of whom later got married — the pattern seemed oddly consistent and raised a question about what might happen next with Sara.
Sara Ali Khan then joked by saying her own co-stars — Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vikrant Massey, and Vicky Kaushal — all of them got married after working with her, and hence people should point fingers at Aditya Roy Kapur. Another moment that caught many eyeballs was when Anupam Kher praised Kapil for his drastic weight loss transformation. He said, 'You've really lost a lot of weight and are looking very fit.'
Kapil responded by saying, 'If you compliment me more, I'll keep talking to you and forget the rest.' Later, he jokingly asked Anurag Basu to sign him for a movie.

Konkona Sen Sharma Says Working Moms Face ‘Motherhood Penalty' But Fathers Earn More

Last Updated: Konkona Sen Sharma discusses work-life balance challenges in the film industry, highlighting the "motherhood penalty." She calls for policy changes. Konkona Sen Sharma, who will be seen next in Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino, recently spoke about how hard it can be to balance work and personal life in the film industry. She also shared what she feels needs to change for working parents. During an interview with Firstpost, Konkona said, 'I genuinely want to say that in today's day and age, there is a certain motherhood penalty in any industry, which happens. It's called the fatherhood premium and the motherhood penalty. Because what happens is that fathers, as they have children and they become more and more senior, they earn more and more. But for women with every child, there is a financial setback because you're not able to kind of participate in the way society expects you to or for that matter what the office work demands." She went on to add, 'Now what's going to happen ultimately is that women are not incentivized to have children at all because it's becoming more and more difficult. You know, to participate in the work life, and to be a good mother at the same time is becoming more and more difficult. So, I feel that this is something that eventually the governments will have to kind of change policies for working mothers. Otherwise it's not going to happen." Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey tied the knot in 2010, but went their separate ways five years later. Their divorce was finalised in 2020. The two share a son, Haroon, and continue to co-parent. Up next, Konkona will be seen in Metro In Dino, a multi-starrer that brings together names like Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher. The film is set to hit theatres on July 4. First Published: July 01, 2025, 09:01 IST
