To find the best walking pads you can get during these final hours of Prime Day sales, we leaned into our team's experience with reviewing fitness gear, including walking pads, and we also evaluated each model and deal before including it here. To pull together our picks, we looked at models offering a range of features, that were durable and reliable, that were compact and easy to move and that had great reviews.
The coauthors of this story both have fitness backgrounds. Lindsay Boyers is the executive strategy editor of Forbes Vetted and a functional nutritionist who has tested both kitchen and fitness gear. Steven John is a tech and gear writer, runner and experienced fitness gear product tester and reviewer.
We also leaned on the past research and testing of our Forbes Vetted gear editor, Cam Vigliotta, who oversees our gear and fitness coverage.
We read through scores of reviews posted by verified buyers of these walking pads, flagging both repeated praise and any repeated criticism—and when the same issues seemed to pop up frequently, we dropped a walking pad from consideration.
The sale price of each walking pad also played a final role in selecting the best deals. We researched the price history of every walking pad we were considering and only featured those products on which you could truly get a good Prime Day sale.

viaNexus Unveils MCP Service to Enable Agent-Driven Access to Financial Data
NEW YORK, July 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- viaNexus, the high-performance financial data platform built for intelligent systems, today announced the release of its MCP Service, a first-of-its-kind MCP implementation enabling a proper client/server architecture for autonomous agents to securely discover, request, and consume financial data — without manual Authentication/Authorization and paywall integration removinghuman intervention. The viaNexus MCP Service leverages the emerging Model Context Protocol (MCP) to deliver real-time, entitlement-aware access to market data, filings, fundamentals, news and more. Each agent is assigned a scoped identity and permission set, allowing precise control over what data can be accessed, by whom, and under what terms. "Agents are the new users, and data is their fuel," said Tim Baker, CEO of viaNexus. "With the MCP Service, agents can connect directly to our data platform — with secure authentication, entitlements, and governance built in from the start." Unlike current MCP server implementations, which are currently being advertised as API interfaces, often lack native support for secure authentication protocols, and agent-specific access controls, the viaNexus solution introduces several key innovations: Agent-Scoped Identity and Access Control — Unique, auditable access tied to organizational policies and account-level entitlements Asynchronous Authorization Workflow — Secure approval flows and timed bearer tokens remove reliance on human-mediated OAuth flows, which are incompatible with autonomous workflows Built-In Paywall Integration — Data providers can configure usage-based access and pricing, confident that monetization and compliance are enforced programmatically Native Integration with viaNexus Data — Agents can retrieve structured data on demand, fueling analysis, reasoning, or downstream processes "This is just the beginning," said Pedro Aguayo, CTO of viaNexus. "We're already working on open sourcing the entire client stack — including connectors, configuration tools, and telemetry. Our goal is to make secure, agentic data workflows easy to build, deploy, and scale." American Airlines forecasts bigger Q3 loss as sluggish demand hits fares
(Reuters) -American Airlines (AAL) forecast a bigger-than-expected third-quarter loss on Thursday, as sluggish domestic travel demand result in more unsold seats and an erosion in fares. Shares of the carrier fell nearly 3% in premarket trading. Most U.S. airlines withdrew their financial forecasts in April due to uncertainty caused by President Donald Trump's sweeping tariffs and budget cuts. Demand in the domestic travel market has remained subdued with budget travelers approaching their plans with caution. American, which had enhanced its focus on the U.S. domestic market, sees itself more exposed to the trend. Summer, typically the peak money-making season for airlines, is falling short this year as sluggish demand for standard economy seats forces carriers to cut fares, undermining their pricing power. Industry executives and analysts have guided toward a stability in demand and the overall travel environment. American expects adjusted loss per share in the third quarter in the range of 10 cents to 60 cents, compared with analysts' estimates of 7 cents, according to data compiled by LSEG. The U.S. carrier reported a net income of $599 million, or 91 cents per share for quarter ended June 30, compared with $717 million, or $1.01 per share, a year earlier. Its total operating revenue marginally rose to about $14.4 billion. Sign up for Yahoo Finance Breaking News By subscribing, you are agreeing to Yahoo's Terms and Privacy Policy

American Airlines restores 2025 forecast, flags economic worries for keeping it broad
(Reuters) -American Airlines restored its financial forecast for 2025 on Thursday and cited economic uncertainty for keeping its expectations broad - from a potential loss to a profit. The carrier's shares fell nearly 6% before the market open as the forecast underscored the challenges airlines are facing in the domestic market, where travel spending remains tepid amid sweeping U.S. tariffs and budget cuts. American generates more than two-thirds of its passenger revenue from the domestic market and expects a per-share loss of 20 cents to a profit of 80 cents in 2025. "The company believes the top end of the range is achievable if demand in the domestic market continues to strengthen and only expects to be at the bottom end of the range if there were to be macro weaknesses that are not seen today," the carrier said. Most U.S. airlines withdrew their financial forecasts in April. While some have reinstated their expectations, they remain cautious about how the economy will fare in an ever-evolving tariff landscape. Demand in the domestic travel market has remained subdued with budget travelers approaching their plans with caution. American, which had enhanced its focus on the U.S. domestic market, sees itself more exposed to the trend. Soft demand has also hurt earnings of Southwest Airlines, the largest U.S. domestic airline, as summer, typically the peak money-making season for airlines, is falling short this year, with unsold standard economy seats forcing carriers to cut fares. Domestic market was the weakest in the second quarter, with American's unit revenue, a proxy for pricing power, declining 6.4% from a year ago. Meanwhile, its unit revenue in international markets was up, led by a 5% annual jump in the transatlantic market. For the third quarter, American expects adjusted loss per share in the range of 10 cents to 60 cents, compared with analysts' estimates of 7 cents, according to data compiled by LSEG. The U.S. carrier reported a net income of $599 million, or 91 cents per share for quarter ended June 30, compared with $717 million, or $1.01 per share, a year earlier. Its total operating revenue marginally rose to about $14.4 billion.
