I can't believe how I reacted at my gender reveal, sure I was disappointed but I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life
WHILE most parents would be happy whatever gender their baby is born as, the same can't be said for one mum who admitted to her immediate thoughts after finding out she was having a boy. Desperate for a girl, Monique Tibbott was instead reduced to tears at the gender reveal of their soon to be born baby when the colour blue appeared inside of the cake. 3 Monique was adamant she was having a second girl throughout her pregnancy. The 21-year-old from Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, explained: 'All I know is pink. All I know is being a girl mom – I have never experienced raising a boy and it's just terrifying to me. 'I feel so guilty and like the worst mom in the world because when I saw the baby's gender in that cake, my heart sank. 'I'm going to feel guilty for the rest of my life for how I reacted; I'm never going to forget how I thought when I first found out about him.' Throughout her pregnancy, the stay-at-home mum had been convinced she was expecting a second girl; and after already having her daughter, Delilah, it was something she thought she'd be better equipped for. However, that dream soon diminished for Monique during the gender reveal, alongside her husband Brandon; when after uncovering the gender, her reaction failed to live up to expectation. Monique told how she then spent the next few days in tears while trying to process the news. With her reaction failing to live up to the hype and expectation of what gender reveals typically do, she is conscious she tarnished the special day with her emotion. Becoming a parent to a boy is a reality that scares Monica as she stared down a barrel in fear on how to bring her son up. Having had the experience in how to raise her daughter, Monique fears bringing a boy up will be a completely different scenario. Love Islander reveals if his unborn baby is a boy or a girl at incredible gender reveal party with The Challenge star girlfriend Monique also told how she's struggled to find a name for a boy she's really settled on – with that being in stark contrast for girl's name, which she could name ten for. Speaking more about her reaction to the news of her expecting a boy, Monique told: 'I feel angry at myself for how I reacted because I should have just been grateful and happy that he's healthy and that I have the fertility ability to carry a baby. 'I know that probably pregnancy hormones are a huge factor to play here, but I think that I was just more shocked and not able to process it because I was so certain I was having a girl. 'I just feel very alone, and I feel so bad for Brandon because I ruined his day. He was so excited, and I just dimmed it with my reaction.'

Controversial former ABC star who lost her job over Gaza posts makes shock career move as she joins forces with Abbie Chatfield
Controversial former ABC freelancer Antoinette Lattouf has announced she has signed with the Stage Addiction talent agency - the same agency as Abbie Chatfield. Lattouf, 45, who made headlines earlier last year after her highly-publicised wrongful dismissal case against the public broadcaster, went online last month to revealed her dramatic career move. In a post shared with her new agency, Lattouf posed for a professional photo in a stylish all-blue slacks and short outfit and included a cheeky caption. 'Who's this human headline hottie now being repped by Stage Addiction?' the Instagram post began. She added, 'Get your people to call my people etc etc.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Ben Grand of Stage Addiction is set to manage the broadcaster and writer, reported Sky News last month. Also included on the Stage Addiction talent roster is Cheek Media founder and TV commentator and author Hannah Ferguson and Bachelor star Matt Agnew. Lattouf, who has 118K followers, received an enthusiastic response from her fans, who filled sent messages of congratulations. 'You're such a talent. Beauty, brains, heart and comedic genius,' said one follower while Matt Agnew simply wrote 'Welcome'. 'Fearless Warrior Journalist Presenter I presume! And my absolute Hero!' said another user. Lattouf won her case for unlawful termination against the ABC, with the public broadcaster ordered to pay her $70,000 in compensation last month. The casual radio host and Palestine advocate was hired for a week-long stint on ABC Radio Sydney's Mornings program in December 2023. She was let go after just three shifts for sharing a Human Rights Watch post that said Israel was using starvation as a 'weapon of war' in Gaza. The ABC claimed it took Lattouf off the air because she failed to follow a direction not to post about Israel or the war in Gaza during her five-day shift. But Justice Darryl Rangiah, who delivered his judgement in Sydney's Federal Court In June, disagreed, finding pro-Israel lobbyists formed an 'orchestrated campaign' to pressure then-ABC chair Ita Buttrose to take Lattouf off air. He found the ABC contravened the Fair Work Act by terminating Lattouf's employment 'for reasons including that she held a political opinion opposing the Israeli military campaign in Gaza '. Justice Rangiah ordered the ABC to pay Lattouf compensation of $70,000, with the public broadcaster also potentially on the hook for 'pecuniary penalties' for breaking the law. In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Lattouf boasted about her 'landmark' win.

The AFL legend took a very brief trip to Sydney , jetting in from Melbourne on Thursday and flying home again on Saturday The 54-year-old looked surprisingly relaxed and unbothered as he made his way through Sydney Airport, cracking a smile as he chatted on a mobile phone The footballer wheeled along a small carry on case, which appeared to be the only luggage he took for the quick trip. Carey was back at the airport by Saturday, checking in to his flight hone to Melbourne. He had on largely the same outfit he'd worn days prior, changing to a black T-shirt from a white one, indicating he that he had packed light. The sighting comes after the woman at the centre of a viral video with Carey has hit out at those who filmed her and revealed that she's suffered 'immense distress '. Kate Aston, 38, a Melbourne marketing and communications executive, has described the dissemination of the clip as 'a deliberate act of bullying'. Aston posted a lengthy statement to Instagram Stories on Thursday, revealing that she had initially chosen to remain silent to protect her professional reputation and her mental health, but has come forward to hold those who released the video to account - and set the record straight. 'Overnight, from footage of me simply exiting a toilet at a bar, I've had my life turned upside down,' she wrote. 'What has happened to me could happen to anyone, and no one should have to go through what I have been put through – the damage, the speculation, the impact on my livelihood, all from the malicious actions of a small few.' Aston says that she fears the impact the video will have on her future, her career - and even her personal relationships. 'At a time when I am navigating my next career move and visibility matters, the personal and professional toll has been immense,' she said. 'Who would want to employ me, date me, be associated with me? What's left now that this has all happened to me?' The executive indicated she would be taking legal action over the matter. 'Whilst it's only been a matter of days since this incident unfolded, there has been immeasurable damage to my reputation, and my ability to lead a normal life has been adversely affected,' she said. 'These women and others who've provided hateful commentary have put into jeopardy my reputation, and so I've been left with no choice but to try to protect it. 'Two women not known to me have turned my life upside down and I have to set the record straight.' On Wednesday, footy great Wayne had confessed that he is the man shown in a viral video that allegedly featured a man and woman emerging from a bathroom in a trendy Melbourne bar. The North Melbourne premiership winner said he has contacted Victoria Police in an effort to have the people who filmed and distributed the video held accountable for their actions. The footage, which was taken at the Toorak Cellars bar in Armadale in the city's inner south-east, shows Carey and the unnamed woman walking into view around 20 seconds apart. A female voice is heard saying 'we've got you on camera' as the woman walks past, before asking 'What's he doing in there?' and remarking, 'She looks embarrassed.' Carey and the woman depicted in the clip have lashed out over the video, with the ex-AFL star branding it 's**t shaming' and cyberbullying, and both parties insisting there was no 'tryst' in the toilets. 'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through about 10 different emotions in the last three days,' he said on Sam Newman's You Cannot Be Serious podcast. 'I've gone through disbelief, sadness, I've gone through anger. 'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy. 'And you've got two vile, disturbing, probably p**sed women who want to do this to another woman.'
